California is the first state to allow taxpayer-funded health care benefits to go towards people residing in the U.S. illegally.
Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law on Tuesday which would allow low-income adults under the age of 25 to receive state Medicaid benefits through its Medi-Cal program regardless of immigration status.
Officials say the plan should cost taxpayers $98 million to cover 90,000 people, although the state already covers children 18 and younger through the state’s Medicaid plan.
The recently signed law would only cover illegal aliens with an income low enough to qualify for the program.
Newsom had been championing the

Oh sure, they say 90,000 now, but “free” has a weird way of attracting new customers. The unintended consequences of stupid liberals, yet again. California is a disaster.

Forget about building a wall along the southern border, build the damn thing around California before all the nuts escape and move into other, saner parts of the country.

I’m reminded of that dem congress critter who thought Guam was about to tip over if one more marine set foot on the island. Perhaps If we get enough illegals in CA, maybe it will also tip over.

FTA: ''Officials say the plan should cost taxpayers $98 million...'' Should cost???? Does ANYONE believe that? When they run out of other peoples money for this, they'll blame Trump because ''he's allowing the chilllldren to get sick and die.'' Same-o same-o for these scum.

If I was a homeless person in California, I would suddenly be named Jose, or Julio, or some other name used by illegal immigrants (border crashers!)
Heck, I might even do that if I was not homeless!

Poster 3; GFY?? - A conservative Californian, who cannot leave because of age, home, and family, without extreme hardship. Maybe later, when it truly becomes Hell on Earth! ( And before #4’s wall is finished so I can get out)! Thanks, guys. Nice, really nice.

California has gone totally insane, totally anti-American, completely pro-criminal illegal aliens.

What #9 said. Is what #3 said really necessary? Many of us have lived here for all of our lives. We do not hit the road whenever the politics of the state change. (Most don’t even know that California was a Republican state for eons.) So that nasty GFY has to say more about the person posting it than it does about any of us. There are Conservatives - millions of them - in California. Many more than in numbers of other states combined. But ignorance does show up here at what was once a wonderfully intelligent site.

The absurdity of this somehow makes it harder to step back and grasp the entire meaning.
The government of California will deprive you of your freedom if you do not surrender your wealth and hand it over to a stranger who is part of an illegal invasion. An invasion bound to be dependent on the government and vote for more of the same.
Help me understand how this is not a regression to feudalism. Oh I'm sorry, I mean progress to feudalism.

I wonder how many young illegals (this expansion covers ages 19-25) will be willing to go and sign up, provide income verification (this is means tested), and all that.
As for those who believe the other states support California, you’d better look again.

Last night someone on Fox said all taxpayers will be helping cover these expenses because Medicaid money comes from the federal government, not state funds.

California is not the same vibrant state it once was. Back in the 50's,60's and 70's, it was a trend for young people, after graduating high school, to move to the Golden State to start their life. Today more people are leaving California then are moving there. The tax base is shrinking and the welfare state is increasing. It's the agricultural Central Valley and Silicon Valley that keeps California alive. The influx of illegals are going to change the state in many ways. Governor Newsome can forget about ever becoming potus.

Ca. must return all the Fed $ they never used and the Fed Govt should not give them one red cent for their ongoing 'emergencies'. If they do not know how to sepnd the free money they receive it is up to the voters to run the political frauds out of office.

With 5,000,000++ illegals in California, the health care is going to be severely impacted and the idiots that allowed California to be 'ruled' by the Fascist Democrats will pay the price.
