The American Psychological Association (APA) has created a task force to promote “consensual non-monogamous relationships” (CNM) and a petition seeking legal protected class status of individuals with multiple sex partners. [Snip] Liberty Counsel Chairman Mat Staver said in a statement the APA division’s task force “is more evidence that the American Psychological Association has lost it way.”
“The same people who want to deny counseling for people with unwanted same-sex desires or confusion also want to promote sexual anarchy and make ‘open relationships’ a protected class,” he added. “It’s time to call out the APA for its unscientific bias that is harmful to people.”

Psychiatrists are often crazy people who went to school to try to figure out why they are crazy.
This is unsurprising. They are selling their new world view:
Abnormal no longer is permitted as a concept.
EVERYONE is "normal", EVERYONE is "sane".
Morality is BAD.
NOT.

I read recently that a study of case work by years worth of psychiatry has shown that their diagnoses are nearly worthless. Then this story comes along and reinforces that view.
My son as a child was difficult. The psychiatrist we were sent to, didn't ask us anything, because he wanted to make his own observations without expectations. He put our son in a room with toys from popular modern children's shows and puzzles you could assemble in four pieces, then watched from behind a mirrored window.
After about half of the hour allotted my son began to scatter the puzzle pieces and use the children's figures as targets for throwing a ball. From this, he decided our son was mentally deficient, possibly irredeemably so, and we should start making plans to have him institutionalized.
The quack didn't believe us when we told him, Brandon was bored, we never watched the shows that backed the figures, and that he was already solving one hundred piece puzzles.
We took our son elsewhere. Had him properly evaluated by people who listened to us, And our son is just fine, including his 150IQ.
I wouldn't trust the APA or any such group to manage a baby's bath! Hamsters might be more their speed.

Further proof if any was needed that the Psychobabble Industry is not and has never been a scientific organization but a social engineering pressure group especially involved in promoting aberrant sexual behavior as more normal and genuine than the established natural order. When things go pear shaped they just resile from their position by simply adopting a new standard. The story of so called profession's contribution to the "abuse" phenomenon within the Catholic Church, with the bulk of referred cases of "abusers" being returned to their Bishop as "cured but should be given a fresh start in a new setting to prevent recidivism" has yet to be told. When the proverbial hit the fan for the Bishops, the "psychobabblers" merely declared that "pedophilia cannot be cured" and are now pushing for its "sensitive treatment" under the law together with the concept of "the intelligent, well informed mature child" who can give informed consent to sexual activity and to make "adult " decisions on medical and surgical life long treatment concerning the disposition of his/her gender as in the transgenderism movement, , as the route to the legalization of pedophilia,

Next will be a protected class of people that want to have sex with pets and farm animals. The moral decay continues.

The APA spokespervert continued, "And soon after CNM we will be pushing for SGP- sheep, goats, and pigs."

We knew this was coming. Next it will be the protected "relationships" with children and animals. I am embarrassed to say that, but there it is.

And soon enough, people in a stable monogamous heterosexual relationship, each lovingly faithful to their spouse, will be labeled by the APA as "strange" and "perverted".

The APA is the libs' church and the psys are their priests. People confuse mental/emotional issues with spiritual ones. They worsen the situation by going to therapy instead of turning to G-d. It's like going to a mechanic to get a haircut.

During the Charlie Sheen train wreck some years back, he really lambasted the entire psychobabble industry. I don't condone his lifestyle, but on this particular point he was right on.

So are they trying to make it impossible to prosecute a guy for having multiple sex partners of both genders, then bringing HIV, Herpes, STD, and other diseases home to his wife? Or if its a gay couple, the non cheating gay spouse? I have a feeling that the gaystapo has hated that it has been legally possible to prosecute men who deliberately spread disease to unwitting partners. But now the Doctors are working towards making them untouchable legally now. It truly is becoming the last days of Noah. This is some sick stuff.
Some of the craziest, most unstable people in the medical profession are the shrinks. They have to undergo therapy for a year, to not only explore their own psyche, but to understand what it feels like for their patients too.

It may just be my experience but I don't know anyone who 'got better" through the services of a psychiatrist. Seems somewhere along the way they decided their job was to try and instill enough self-esteem into people with "issues" that they could function marginally in society while making these people dependent on them for any sense of self-esteem going forward. To psychiatrists the concept that their patients may have been wrong / immature / highly self-centered and in need of adult direction to help them pull themselves up by their boot straps so they could learn to deal with what all the rest of us have to deal with in a responsible and adult manner is anathema while believing all the fantasies their patients present to them as "truths" that all of society needs to honor. I say to them: heal thyself and do no harm!

Good. Make incest, pedophilia, bestiality legally protected status. What is the difference? They are all sexual behaviors that seem normal to the APA.
