Lurid details will make for sensational news.. Why is news coming out now? What bigger fish is about to be snared? Obama never flew Lolita express did he? Under age girls aren’t his thing.. boys? Could be a story. Will Epstein be found guilty? I don’t know. I do know, as a 13 year old, a pedo wooed me.. and was a very patient listener to a teen girl. It took years to realize I was not his emotional equal, or equal to his wife.. words can not describe the emotional damage done by these perverts.

I would like someone here to help me understand why Acosta did not pursue Epstein more vigorously back in 2008. Was the child thing going to be extremely hard to prove? Was the risk too great that Epstein would not face any consequences for his actions? I don't want to pick on Acosta. But I do want to understand the why behind his actions.

Confederate Railroad and unfair racial justice at the Illinois State Fair 3 replies

Illinois’ Governor J.B. Pritzer has banned the Southern rock band “Confederate Railroad” from the Illinois State Fair because of the band’s name and Confederate flag on their logo. He said that the administration bars using resources to promote symbols of racism. Well, kiss my grits. Let’s look at the state fair’s “Land of Lincoln.” Of course, this in reference to the 16th president who is claimed by Illinois as its son, though Lincoln was born in Kentucky not far from Jefferson Davis.

Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Reiter and Detective Joseph Recarey risked their careers for the sake of the community they served. That risk centered on a case in which they gathered evidence supporting allegations that a multi-millionaire suspect living in a $12.5 million mansion on Palm Beach’s fashionable barrier island was trafficking in underage girls for sex. That man was hedge fund manager Jeffrey Epstein. Law enforcement officials were “pressured by then-Palm Beach State Attorney Barry Krischer to downgrade the (2006) case to a misdemeanor or drop it altogether,” the Miami Herald reported. This despite having identified some 35 possible victims.

Former President Bill Clinton and numerous other friends and acquaintances of Jeffery Epstein are under scrutiny in the wake of Epstein’s NY indictment for sex trafficking. The raid on Epstein’s townhouse uncovered a virtual treasure trove of evidence, including reams of photos and videos. Many of the photo discs include names of young women as well as dates. Most of the young women allegedly appear to be underage. If true, the files are a trail of inconvertible evidence. Just when you were certain that Hillary Clinton would be the first Clinton indicted, it looks like Bill Clinton may actually beat her to it.

Epstein indictment - Is Hillary behind a Trump-Epstein collusion theory? 15 replies

There’s something fishy about the impending prosecution of billionaire financier and registered sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein. His unsealed indictment of Sunday last goes against a 2007 deal reached between his lawyers and then-US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, Alexander Acosta – President Trump’s current US Secretary of Labor. Epstein’s light sentence for sex trafficking of underage girls – 13 months in county jail with trips to his Palm Beach office permitted for business – was granted in exchange for testimony against Wall Street executives connected to the selling of derivative investments comprised of toxic subprime loans.

Piqued by a Fox video news report concerning the banning of Trump supporters by the popular online knitting site, Ravelry, I checked things out late last week. Here’s what I viewed on the main page of Ravelry: “We are banning support of Donald Trump and his administration on Ravelry. We cannot provide a space that is inclusive of all and also allow support for open white supremacy. Support of the Trump administration is unambiguously support for white supremacy.

The brutal Antifa violence inflicted on journalist Andy Ngo in Portland is part of a growing wave of leftist violent confrontations across the country. The attack appears to have implicit support from local Democrat authorities, including Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler. It’s increasingly clear that from Portland to Berkeley to Charlottesville, Virginia, hardcore leftist brown shirts, led by a growing cadre of Antifa thugs, are resorting to open violence. Intimidation on a regular basis is an acceptable method of political discourse.

In 2000, while walking down Fillmore Street in San Francisco a spectacular article of men’s finery caught my eye. In the Garland-Dewson store window sat a majestic black felt fedora. Its’ shiny ribbon reflecting the sun’s yellow glint. With it sat a note and price tag. The note declared the hat to be identical to one worn by former Democrat San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. Its price was a little north of 400 simoleons. Brown served thirty years (1965 to 1995) in the California State Assembly, where he rose to become that body’s first African American speaker. In 1996, he was elected San Francisco’s first African-American mayor.

The vandalized Nike posters were found inside the Bryant Park subway station in midtown Manhattan. At least six posters were vandalized, although images of the graffiti have not been made public by the MTA or NYPD. 'Hate has no place in the transit system and we work hard to make the subway a welcoming, safe environment for everyone,' read a statement from the MTA.

He added, “And every single institution and structure that we have in this country still reflects the legacy of slavery and segregation and Jim Crow and suppression, even in our democracy."

I suppose I should be thrilled that the U.S. Women's soccer team won its second world title but I confess to rooting for all their opponents during the games. I don't particularly care for soccer anyway but it was the purple-haired star player Megan Rapinoe who turned me off by spouting her disdain for any White House visit before she was even asked. Did she do that for publicity or was her Trump derangement too deeply entrenched? Stomping on the American flag even accidentally during the World Cup celebration was more proof of her unworthiness to represent our great country.

(Snip) pay gap is far from just “gender bias,” the reason there is a pay gap between the men and the women is that the men bring in many more fans, and millions of dollars more in revenue than the women’s soccer. The pay gap is about economics, not gender bias.

Long before Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to prostitution charges in Florida more than a decade ago, his fellow Palm Beach resident and hedge-fund manager Douglas Kass was intrigued by the local gossip about his neighbor. “I’m hearing about the parties, hearing about a guy who’s throwing money around,” says Kass, president of Seabreeze Partners Management. While stories about young girls swarming Epstein’s waterfront mansion and the sex parties he hosted for the rich and powerful were the talk of the town, Kass was more focused on how this obscure person, rumored to be managing billions of dollars, had become so wealthy without much of a track record. Kass was well-connected

Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY), a member of the party’s leadership team under Pelosi, in last year’s primary race. The latest spat began on Saturday, when columnist Maureen Dowd of the New York Times reported that Pelosi had disparaged AOC and her allies on the left (original links):
