As soon as I saw that the rabid, deranged, irrational anti-Trumper David French was against Sen Hawley's bill, I knew I was going to be in favor of it. French is a despicable person, and while he loudly claims to be "a conservative", I find our views intersect about 20-30%, at maximum, possibly less than that. I support Sen Hawley. Being right next door to Missouri, and in the KC metro area, we see a lot of MO political ads and Hawleys were always good ones, he seemed like a great choice. This bill seems to verify that, too. Drop dead David French. French has become an excellent "opposite indicator". Whatever French's view is, you are likely to be on the right track, at least 70-80% of the time if you are in opposition to his views.

Former President Bill Clinton, who is longtime friends with pedophile Jeffery Epstein, has released a statement about the billionaire's arrest over the weekend and charges related to child sex abuse and trafficking. "President Clinton knows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffery Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York. In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein's airplane: one to Europe, one to Asia, and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation,"

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Monday blasted President Trump’s push for a citizenship question on the 2020 census as an effort to “Make America White Again” — claiming, “it’s not what our founders had in mind.”“They want to make sure that people, certain people, are counted,” Pelosi said at a press conference in San Francisco that focused on election security.“Just their people vote and not the general population,” said the Democratic lawmaker. “That’s why they’re fighting the census.”White House officials did not immediately return requests for comment from The Post on the statements. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY. (Snip) “I don’t think anyone on the team has any interest in lending the platform that we’ve worked hard to build and the things that we fight for and the way that we live our life,” Rapinoe said, “I don’t think we want that to be co-opted or corrupted by this administration

Home Depot shoppers have been threatening to boycott the store after its co-founder, Bernie Marcus, revealed in a recent interview that he’d be donating to President Trump’s re-election bid. “Never shopping @HomeDepot again,” wrote one Twitter user. “Cutting up my card,” another said. Marcus, who retired from Home Depot in 2002, has been a vocal Trump supporter in the past — despite not always agreeing with him. “He’s got a businessman’s common sense approach to most things,” Marcus told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in a recent interview, which has been making the rounds on social media.

2020 hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) told activists at an event Monday that she supported pressuring Israel to, in their words, "end occupation" of Palestinian territories. In a video posted by the left-wing Jewish group IfNotNow on Twitter, two of its activists approached Warren for a picture—she poses for photos with anyone who wants them after campaign events—and introduced themselves as American Jews with a proposition for her. "We really love the way you're fighting corruption. We'd really love it if you also pushed the Israeli government to end occupation," one of the activists said. "Yes, yes. So I'm there," Warren said quickly. Warren then took a picture with the two activists.

California’s uncanny “earthquake pause” is over. It should have already had several “big ones” by now. All that pressure has to go somewhere. Now geologists are nervously eyeing eight nearby volcanoes. And why has Yellowstone supervolcano been acting so weird? The US Geological Survey (USGS) has warned Southern California to expect more big earthquakes to come. Some, they say, may even be more powerful than those experienced in the past few days. “(These quakes do) not make (the Big One) less likely,” local seismologist Lucy Jones told The Los Angeles Times. “There is about a one in 20 chance that this location will be having an even bigger

Shortly before the Fourth of July, The New York Times published an op-ed attacking air conditioning as unnecessary, contributing to global warming, and oppressive. Taylor Lorenz, a staff writer at The Atlantic took up the call, calling air conditioning itself "unhealthy, bad, miserable, and sexist." She called for a ban on air conditioning in general, and the internet rushed to defend the technology. "Air-conditioning is unhealthy, bad, miserable, and sexist. I can’t explain how many times I’ve gotten sick over the summer b/c of overzealous AC in offices," Lorenz tweeted, adding "ban A/C."[tweet] The New York Times's Penelope Green begins her article
