With U.S. Women's Soccer star and outspoken Trump critic Megan Rapinoe having preemptively rejected any invite to go to the "f***ing White House," House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made a big announcement on Monday: Congress is formally inviting the Wold Cup-winning team to be honored on Capitol Hill.(Video) "House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wrote to colleagues Monday that 'by popular demand on both sides of the aisle,' she has invited the players to the Capitol 'to celebrate their inspiring victory,'" CBS News reported Monday. "Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said he, too, has invited them

I would like to read Pelosi’s take on the flag-dragging. She says Trump is degrading the country. What does she think this disrespectful behavior entails about who is “degrading” the country?

Its a shame that we don't have a team that actually represents the USA. These are nothing but a bunch of hate filled traitors in my opinion.

Honestly and pointedly.........When an American team on the world stage publicly dumps on our country, don't give damn about them.

Fine with me. No need to degrade our house with your lack of patriotism and hatred of our flag.

Buncha Trump Deranged ho’s that should be Team Venezuela and not USA. I was rooting for them to lose early in the event. Sorry they won but in reality they lost due to poor sportsmanship and disrespect for the country they represent. F em.

Since this is 1/330,000,000th my White House, I don't want the majority of them near it. The lady who helped rescue the flag from her teammates, maybe.
It's their loss, not ours. They may have won the World Cup, but they've lost any shred of respectability to many folks who made it possible for them to be there.
MAGA!!! KAG!!! It's the people's house! They're not snubbing the President, they're snubbing the American People!

The Rapinoe strumpet can have her opinion, she does not speak for the team. Stay home with your girlfriend and hole up with AOC, let the rest of them have their day.
BTW, R. was not entitled to that shot, lousy ref!

Maybe the one with the purple colored hair who thinks that she is a man stuck in a woman’s body will exercise her supposed “Constitutional Right” to pull down the American flag in the House or Senate congressional chamber and drag it across the floor, eliciting a big applause from the leftist and liberal Democrats in that place?

This is the kind of stupid, meaningless stuff Congress specializes in. Not law-making. Not problem-solving. Trying to one-up the President with a bunch of female jocks who play for team USA while hating the USA. Every single elected congress person should be recalled. They are worthless. They do nothing for the people of the USA. Posers all.

That's like having the opportunity to visit New York, you are actually invited to the slums - at night. Such a pity the Soccer team has to be punished because their Team Captain is a Witch with TDS.

They made history, all right, setting an all-time record for the number of Americans hoping that an "American team" got their asses kicked in International competition.

It is nice that those American women won their championship, but was it possible to fairly balance out those national teams with talent in any way, when in the final game, you have one team that comes from a country that has a population of 325 million or so people from which to pick a soccer team, with the opposing team coming from a country of about 17 million people from which to pick their soccer team?

Why does she get to speak for the whole team? I guess she/they haven’t figured out that wages are tied to revenues. She has just guaranteed that half of the potential fan base will not pay to see them play.
