Key witnesses sought for questioning by Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz early in his investigation into alleged government surveillance abuse have come forward at the 11th hour, Fox News has learned. Sources familiar with the matter said at least one witness outside the Justice Department and FBI started cooperating -- a breakthrough that came after Attorney General William Barr ordered U.S. Attorney John Durham to lead a separate investigation into the origins of the bureau’s 2016 Russia case that laid the foundation for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe. This indicates that the matter has reached a critical stage. Those involved who placed their bets on the resourcefulness and resilience of their deep-state cohorts have now come to realize that it's every man for himself time. Prior false stories have crumbled as contradictions are revealed in testimony and facts. They're now turning on each other like the common criminals they are, desperate to avoid the consequences of their traitorous acts.

This could also be an attempt to delay the IG report once again. The Deep State may be trying to run out the clock in hopes Pres. Trump will be defeated in 2020 and his Dem successor will drop the investigation.

I'm with #2 on this one. IG Horowitz will not hold up the report if the information is not critical. I believe that U.S. Attorney Durham and AG Barr are bringing to light that people will be indicted. Everyone will be turning on each other to save themselves. I don't believe that Adam Schiff or Congressman Nadler can make enough noise to turn people away from the findings when they come out before the election.

If the IG’s report is released prior to the 2020 election, will any Dem presidential candidate be asked about this abuse of federal authority by Obama, Lynch and Comey? Democrats once believe that the CIA and FBI were not to be trusted, now these two agencies are made into defenders of democracy. If the IG’s report is issued by this Labor Day, what will radical House Democrats accuse Trump of forcing illegal aliens to drink, eat and perform in order to drive the IG’s report off of the news? AOC and her ruthless House colleagues managed to give the news media an excuse to overshadow the President’s historic walk into North Korea with the false toilet water story in the “concentration camps”.

For the sake of the country justice must prevail. So much has been brought to light that reasonable people expect their government to police itself and not make a mockery of justice by sweeping this under the rug. Are the criminals more powerful that the rule of law and the United States Constitution? Apparently we are heading for an answer to that question. In the meantime the democrats are doing everything in their power to taint this investigation and they will be aided and abetted in this endeavor by the media who will say or do anything to protect and defend the cabal. If and when the truth is revealed and the real perpetrators of this conspiracy to commit sedition is brought to justice, do not expect the democrats to yield in their opposition. They will fight like the devil to oppose the outcome. The media will be their defenders and it will be an epic battle. It will not be a case wherein for the good of the country they will accept the results of the investigation. They are not wired that way. The good of the country means nothing to them if it threatens their agenda. There are people inside and outside this government that will do or say anything to discredit the findings. This is not your granddaddy’s government where the rule of law and Constitution was sacrosanct. This is some very powerful people bth inside and outside this country who have aided and abetted sedition, a crime so egregious that it demands the most serious of consequences. God help us to get this right. The Republic is hanging in the balance. We cannot have any political party attempt the most serious of crimes and walk away scot free. Anything less than the full force and power of our judicial system upholding the rule of law is simply unacceptable because in this country one is above the law, no one.

As others noted above, I think this is a stalling tactic. I pray I am wrong, but I believe this report will never see the light of day before the election. The Dems, enemedia and deep state need to be able to continue their relentless attacks on President Trump. They will not stop until they can destroy him.

This ALL, and I mean ALL began with an illegal FISA warrant against Carter Page based on a KNOWN, PROVEN BEYOND ANY ARGUMENT, ANY DOUBT since January, 2017, false document, the Steele dossier. IT IS A LIE, period and that is NOT arguable whatsoever. EVERYONE involved in the FISA warrant INCLUDING the judges are guilty of serious crimes. They are felons, albeit unconvicted, JUST LIKE every felon in prison right this minute except these felons are protected by a government that will NEVER bring them to justice by design. Yet, what are the leaders doing? Adding confusion, investigating ad infinitum, accusing this that and the other thing, having hearings, appointing special this and that's, appearing before cameras with furled eyebrows of concern, puking their concern as talk radio guests, while stringing the story along knowing that time will make it fade away with yet another outrage like the 2020 Marxist election primaries. This should have been over in March, 2017 with all involved indicted, tried, sentenced and imprisoned just after Levin detailed this coup against a duly elected president. With the mountains of easily obtained evidence, a dog walking by a crappy law school could convict all involved. Except the ONLY thing that has happened is the guilty continue to be rewarded and the innocent continue to be destroyed against a surreal backdrop of "bombshell" revelations by Friends of Sean about yet another critical stage. There's a pattern here kids. The entire federal government is corrupt beyond any coming back from corrupt and this coup just proves it. Like Charlie and the MTA, this will ride forever 'neath the streets of DC and will NEVER see justice but it will sell a hell of a lot more sheets and pillows as the bombshell critical stories keep stringing it along.

To shut us on the right all up, someone will be the fall guy/gal and get thrown under the bus. Right now they're drawing straws to see who gets fed to the lions --- and that will be it. One ... maybe two ... people will get a show trial and a slap on the wrist and serve time at a sleep-away camp, minimum security prison to be pardoned by the next Democrat president (whenever) and full restoration of back pay and pension benefits. And that will be it. End of story. Nothing to see here! Keep it moving.

Who knows what is happening where, but let's remember one simple fact: Indictments can come at any time - they don't wait for a giant investigation to "conclude" and a report. Once probable cause is found, the game is on, and there are all sorts of things where probable cause may not be difficult to establish, and the jokers know and understand that. Justice must be done, or we're done as a nation of laws. It appears that Barr knows and understands the gravity of letting this pass. I sure hope so. OTOH, we've all been fooled before.

#16 - My favorite curmudgeon. I'm leaning your way more every day. I'm sick to death of waiting for these "reports" to be finished and when they are, they can't be released until yet another "investigation and report" is completed about people and actions that are widely and publicly known. My patience has been exhausted. It is all stalling for time and making it as difficult as possible for President Trump to implement his policies. The Uniparty Deep State may have resigned themselves to a Trump second term, knowing how quickly four years can pass...and there is no one like him to follow. The dog pack press will hound him with the assurance that after the anomaly of Trump, the globalist plans for the Transformation of America will continue unimpeded. But, what do I know? I trust in God. I still believe He created and formed Donald J. Trump for this moment in our nation's history. I trust President Trump's intelligence, experience and his innate talent for timing. I believe The Donald is the greatest patriot in generations. I will follow him into Hell with a bucket of water if he asks it for the sake of our country. And so I wait. I watch. I pray, pray hard. i think with enough information in the public domain, tribunals should have started months, if not years ago. this waiting is a purposeful attempt to cover tracks, not uncover truth. i hope every day, that something will break, but nothing but a takeover of America from the States, Cities, and organizations willing to push the law, because now, with America waiting on the outcome of the Coup, the left began an assault on the remaining semblance of America. We are doomed without justice acting swift. If you add the shenanigans of the lower level corrupt people and the upper level coup, there will not be enough courts, jails, jurors, or prisons to finish the job.

I'm not too surprised this is taking so long. Even if these people weren't directly involved they are career bureaucrats. If they say something and Trump was ousted via impeachment or failing to be reelected, their career would be very shaky because you KNOW that the dems would shut down any investigations and bury the evidence. The average bureaucrat isn't looking to fight a political battle. They are looking to go to work, draw a paycheck, and pay the bills. They are not looking to be a "dead hero". The people that need to get the heavy lifting done is Durham and Barr. They need to find the people with needed information and make it clear it is expected that they will truthfully tell what they know. Hopefully, bureaucrats identified will talk truthfully if not eagerly.

The Democratic Party’s position on immigration is most recently personified in 2020 presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, who tweeted this week about his trip across the border to help five migrant women with their asylum claims. The thread is light on details as to whether or not these women actually have valid legal claims to asylum in the United States, and heavy on unsubstantiated and dramatic details of the cruelty of the process at the American border. What Booker and the rest of his party refuse to acknowledge is that the process is made more cruel by a system that is being overused, abused and stretched

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Barack Obama famously became so frustrated by his running mate’s logorrhea that he asked an aide, “How many times is Biden going to say something stupid?” According to authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, the VP’s stock had dropped so low by late 2011 that the Obama reelection team considered replacing Biden with Hillary Clinton on the 2012 ticket. And, as his busing blunder clearly demonstrated, Biden still has the old gift for gaffes. According to a new Washington Post-ABC poll, however, if the 2020 election were held today, Biden would beat President Trump by 10 points. If this inspires skepticism,

With Democrats increasingly attacking each other with a vitriol they once reserved for President Trump, an anecdote involving President Lyndon Johnson fits the moment. As recounted in the riveting memoir of Joseph Califano, Johnson’s top domestic adviser, the president was meeting with civil rights leaders in the hot racial summer of 1967. Dems were sharply divided over several issues, including how to respond to riots in Detroit and Newark, and LBJ hoped to corral NAACP leader Roy Wilkins and Urban League Executive Director Whitney Young into his corner.

The central issue is immigration. Period. Federal immigration policy is key to the current struggle at the border. What is secure. What’s not. Who the U.S. should admit. Who it shouldn’t. Major questions loom as to what’s going on in Central America. Many lawmakers are questioning what “draws” migrants to cross into the U.S. illegally – prompting debates over detention conditions, health and the care of children. That’s to say nothing about the expense. Immigration – and particularly perceptions about illegal immigration – is what sparked the recent Supreme Court fight about a prospective citizenship question on next year’s census forms.

What, exactly, is the cloud? Where is the cloud? (No, not up there.) In the most simplistic terms possible, cloud computing involves storing and accessing data and programs over the internet instead of a traditional hard drive. In many ways, the cloud is just a sexy metaphor for the internet. According to Eric Griffith, a writer for PCMag, “It goes back to the days of flowcharts and presentations that would represent the gigantic server-farm infrastructure of the internet as nothing but a puffy, white cumulus cloud, accepting connections and doling out information as it floats.” Cloud computing offers a whole host of benefits, including almost unlimited storage

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell still didn’t know what Susan Collins’ ultimate vote would be. Voting to end debate was not the same as voting to confirm — as Justice Samuel Alito learned when he received 73 votes for cloture but only 58 for confirmation. If Collins voted no along with fellow Republican Lisa Murkowski and Democrat Joe Manchin, it would be over. They never broached the subject, but Collins’ manner suggested to McConnell that she was preparing to vote yes. Protesters had been harassing Collins for months. Hundreds of coat hangers, the favored symbol of the abortion-rights movement, had been sent to her field offices in Maine to dramatize the threat

On Oct. 28, 1980, in the final debate of his race against Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan asked a question that has come to define presidential politics. "Next Tuesday all of you will go to the polls, will stand there in the polling place and make a decision," Reagan said. "I think when you make that decision, it might be well if you would ask yourself, are you better off than you were four years ago?" The answer for most voters was no, and Reagan won the election with 489 electoral votes to Carter's 49. The question, or some close variation of it, has popped up many times since.

In the viral moment of the first Democratic presidential debates, Sen. Kamala Harris attacked former vice president Joe Biden over his opposition to forced busing to integrate public schools. The Harris campaign is now waffling on the issue. Over time, we may look back on that as a moment revealing Harris’s underlying weakness as a candidate. Immediately after the debate, while clips rolled of Harris touting how she personally benefited from busing, Harris surged in the polls and Biden sagged a bit. It is less clear that Harris successfully cracked Biden’s appeal with black voters, which is likely key to the success of both candidates. In live dial-tests during the debate,

Despite earlier reports that she could face up to 20 years in prison for the “malicious act of food tampering,” East Texas police said the San Antonio juvenile who was identified as the “licker” in the video would not be charged as she is a minor. [Tweet] The Lufkin Police Department announced “Case Closed” in a Facebook post on Friday after the video with nearly 13 million views and a Walmart surveillance image sparked an investigation

Christine Pelosi, a Democratic National Committee official and daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, warned conspicuously on Saturday evening that it is "quite likely that some of our faves are implicated" in the "horrific" sex-trafficking case against politically connected financier Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein is due in court following his sudden arrest Saturday in New York on new sex-trafficking charges involving allegations dating to the early 2000s, according to law enforcement officials. He has been accused of paying underage girls for massages and sexually abusing them at his mansion in Palm Beach, Fla., and in New York City. Nike has withdrawn a new Independence Day-themed shoe featuring the Revolutionary War-era flag after former NFL quarterback and Nike-endorser Colin Kaepernick complained that the flag was a symbol of the slave era, according to the Wall Street Journal. Nike offered a lame excuse that it had removed the shoe from retailers because “it featured an old version of the American flag.” In fact, it featured the American flag that was actually in use in 1776 on the original Fourth of July, and it is named for the pioneering Founding Mother to whom its design is commonly attributed, Betsy Ross. As it happens, a version of that very flag

There are some things that are just not up for debate. These aren’t political issues. What happened in Florida didn’t center on MAGA hats, flag burning, or the merits of tax cuts. We actually had a high school principal question whether the Holocaust was a “historical, factual” event. The Palm Beach Post has the story. A mother of a student tried for a year to reason with the school administration to, you know, actually teach kids about this terrible period in human history without the nonsense. She wondered how this was being taught at the school. The emails between the parent and Spanish River High School Principal William Latson were

Controversial Palestinian-American activist Linda Sarsour ignited a kerfuffle on Twitter over the weekend by tweeting that Jesus was “a Palestinian.” After drawing strong reactions, she fell back to a position of saying there were “multiple truths” about Jesus – that he can be seen to have been both Jewish and a Palestinian. The “Jesus was a Palestinian” claim is one frequently made by supporters of the Palestinian cause, for political purposes. Sarsour kicked off the row with a Friday night tweet, saying, “Jesus was Palestinian of Nazareth and is described in the Quran as being brown copper skinned with wooly hair.”
