Did you enjoy the fireworks, the baseball, the hot dogs, the apple pie, and of course all the flags that were everywhere yesterday? Savor the memory, because if the left are allowed into full power and have their way it will all move from reality to the realm of nostalgia. Think we’re exaggerating? Mayor Bill de Blasio, reviled in New York City yet shamelessly running for president, is gleefully taking the first steps toward banning the frankfurters Gotham is famed for. No one did anything when they tore down the Robert E. Lee statues and banned the Confederate battle flag - yet a single google search would have shown that they also were aiming to ban the Star Spangled Banner and tear down George Washington's statues. Nike does not care. They will happily sell Chairman Mao sneakers if that is what the morons buy,

If you are offended by the flag, you are offended by the men and women who died defending the flag. Are you listening, NIKE?

The Betsy Ross flag, became the U.S. flag, which is really what they're trying to tear down. The flag is a symbol of America.

They also torn down the statue of Thomas Jefferson at the University of Virginia. A school Jefferson created.

Im flying a Betsy Ross flag, at home, right now. I will continue to do so until all 50 states decide they really are part of the union. I suspect that Ill be flying a different flag when the red states have had enough and ceede the union.

Want a sign that the left is now bringing ruin to the business world, after it has done the same for the education and entertainment industries? Look no further than Nike. Days before the U.S. celebrates Independence Day, Nike pulled sneakers back from retailers that contained a small image of the famous Betsy Ross flag on the back. Apparently that small homage to America’s founding offended the delicate sensibilities of Colin Kaepernick, the reprehensible leftist former football player who protested the national anthem, whose idea of appropriate footwear is socks depicting police officers as pigs, and who prefers shirts honoring Cuba’s murderous dictator Fidel Castro. This is a guy who

With the first primary still eight long months away, making any sort of prediction about the Democratic candidates is pointless. Nevertheless, some have noticed an interesting parallel shaping up, one that involves an old Democrat with plenty of establishment backing and a formidable lead in the polls, and a young, biracial newcomer with a winning smile and an exotic first name. Except that where Barack Obama tried to portray himself as a sensible centrist in 2008, Sen. Kamala Harris is among the most radical in the large crop of far-left Democratic candidates hoping to run against President Trump.

A pair of Bernies, one running for president, the other a wealthy corporate executive and philanthropist, are on opposite sides of the political spectrum, as well as the cultural divide. One has made life better for many. The other wants to suck the life out as many as he can. Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus, now 90, recently said that Sen. Bernie Sanders, campaigning for president as a Democrat with a Socialist’s pedigree, is the “enemy of every entrepreneur.” Sanders, who represents Vermont, has made a public career out of vilifying corporations, free markets, and the wealthy. Meet the creator. Fear the destroyer.

Vladimir Putin may be the expert on interfering in U.S. elections, but this past weekend Donald Trump gave North Korean ruler Kim Jong-un the power to tilt the 2020 election decidedly in favor of whoever his Democrat opponent ends up being. The president on Friday evening tweeted: “I will be leaving Japan for South Korea (with President Moon). While there, if Chairman Kim of North Korea sees this, I would meet him at the Border/DMZ just to shake his hand and say Hello(?)!” Assuming the tweet didn’t disguise previous secret arrangements, it was a shortest-of-short-notice cold invitation. Press reports say it was entirely spontaneous, the president’s own idea,

How do Democrats sell their policies when the economy is doing well and unemployment at 50-year lows? By avoiding the subject. At least, that’s what Democrats did during the two nights of debating. The very first question asked in the first debate, by Savannah Guthrie, was about whether the Democrats’ far-left agenda would risk the economic growth we’ve been enjoying. “Seventy-one percent of Americans say the economy is doing well, including 60% of Democrats,” she said. “What do you say to those who worry this kind of significant change could be risky to the economy?” Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the first to answer, pretended not hear the question.

Older folks remember Darryl Dawkins (aka Chocolate Thunder): a massive, free-spirited NBA megastar known for backboard-shattering dunks – and for claiming to be an alien from the planet Lovetron, where he practiced “Interplanetary Funkmanship.” No one quite knew what “Interplanetary Funkmanship” was. But it possibly related to stuffing candy bars on the bench, having little-to-no work ethic, and therefore taking large portions of games off in-between booming slams with nicknames such as “Yo Mama,” “In Your Face Disgrace,” and of course, “Sexophonic Turbo Delight.” In retrospect, the late Thunder would have made a perfect Democratic voter.

The Supreme Court’s 5-to-4 ruling on Department of Commerce v. New York is being characterized as nothing more serious than a temporary setback regarding President Trump’s wish to reinstate a citizenship question in the 2020 U.S. Census; the administration is expected to whip up a new rationale that the high court won’t consider “contrived” and get the question in. Unfortunately it is far worse than that, and Chief Justice John Roberts is giving further sign that he is yet another unpleasant surprise in GOP appointments to the highest level of the Judicial Branch, following in the footsteps of David Souter (Bush 41),

When it was time to call the candidates on stage for Tuesday night’s Democratic presidential debate, did one of the moderators yell “send in the clowns?” If not, someone should have. What a bunch of buffoons. We don’t use that word lightly. One definition of buffoon is “a person who amuses others by ridiculous behavior.” That’s a description that fits every candidate on the stage. Each was hilariously solicitous and comically transparent. Almost before the game show applause had settled, Beto O’Rourke launched into a juvenile Spanish-language hustle that left Sen. Cory Booker wide-eyed and most everyone else rolling their eyes.

Especially that men get the opportunity to pummel women in mixed martial arts. And then there are the Connecticut girls, excluded from New England track regionals when boys took the top two spots, who have brought a complaint under Title IX, which mandates equal participation for women in educational programs. Said one girl, Selina Soule: “There have been countless other female athletes (affected) in the state of Connecticut, as well as my entire indoor track team.

Before California slips into the ocean after a massive earthquake, as some predicted decades ago that it would, it looks like it will first become America’s very own undeveloped nation. California has endured its share of Old Testament calamities in the modern world. Yet at times it seems that it will surely succumb to disasters created by its own hand. There are real monsters loose in the streets. Rats, “an army” of them “millions strong,” reports KOMO News, have “overthrown” Los Angeles. Not long ago, “officials briefly closed part of City Hall after reporting that rodents had invaded the building,” said California Healthline. “And where there are rats,”

On the campaign trail in 1992, Bill Clinton famously stopped by a McDonald’s during a jog. Impromptu or not, it helped cement Clinton’s image as a regular guy who understands budget-minded middle-class families. Fast forward 27 years, and Democrats are once again making campaign stops at McDonald’s. But not to eat there. No, no, no. They are showing up to protest the fast-food chain for “corporate greed” and for not paying its workers a “living wage.” Kamala Harris, for example, was in Las Vegas marching in a protest and telling those assembled that “if we want to talk about these golden arches being a symbol of the best of America, well

Kamala Harris, calling on the nation to “deal with the racial wealth gap,” on Saturday proposed a $100 billion federal program to help black people buy homes. The California senator said the plan, which would provide down payment and closing cost assistance of up to $25,000 to people renting or living in historically red-lined communities, would help some 4 million home-buyers. The plan’s release comes as Harris surges in Democratic presidential primary polls following a debate last week in which she chastised former Vice President Joe Biden for his past opposition to busing and former associations with segregationist senators. Key witnesses sought for questioning by Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz early in his investigation into alleged government surveillance abuse have come forward at the 11th hour, Fox News has learned. Sources familiar with the matter said at least one witness outside the Justice Department and FBI started cooperating -- a breakthrough that came after Attorney General William Barr ordered U.S. Attorney John Durham to lead a separate investigation into the origins of the bureau’s 2016 Russia case that laid the foundation for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe. While the investigative phase of the inspector general’s long-running probe is said to be complete,

Toilet paper – the one product that the majority of us use just once and flush away – is becoming less sustainable, according to research. Analysis from Ethical Consumer magazine found that major brands were using less recycled paper than in 2011, while only five of the nine major supermarkets (the Co-op, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose) offered an own-brand recycled toilet paper. The large-scale use of virgin paper contributes to unnecessary deforestation. The UK uses 1.3m tonnes of tissue a year, according to the Confederation of Paper Industries, with the average British consumer reportedly getting through 127 rolls every

In the viral moment of the first Democratic presidential debates, Sen. Kamala Harris attacked former vice president Joe Biden over his opposition to forced busing to integrate public schools. The Harris campaign is now waffling on the issue. Over time, we may look back on that as a moment revealing Harris’s underlying weakness as a candidate. Immediately after the debate, while clips rolled of Harris touting how she personally benefited from busing, Harris surged in the polls and Biden sagged a bit. It is less clear that Harris successfully cracked Biden’s appeal with black voters, which is likely key to the success of both candidates. In live dial-tests during the debate,
