Biden trashes Trump on Fourth of July:
Celebration in DC was 'to stroke his ego'

Original Article

Joe Biden condemned President Trump for holding a big event on the Fourth of July. A speech that began with a focus on "the incredible promise of the American future" and turned into a history lesson that touched on Presidents John Quincy Adams, Abraham Lincoln, and John F. Kennedy, eventually morphed into a tear against the current occupant of the White House.

President Trump made Biden look like a fool. Trump is the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. There is nothing wrong with him praising the history of the Armed Forces on the 4th of July. The Democrats are deathly afraid the Trump will succeed in his America First political agenda.

It was Trumps stroke of genius on display today. Celebrate the greatness of our country and military. Today Biden and his fellow Trump hating gaggle of wannabes can only wish it was them but it will never be any of them praising our nation and its hero’s and especially our military. It’s not who they are or what they believe in.

There was nothing whatsoever egocentric about the speech. In fact, it was blatantly not egocentric. He talked about the heroes of the country, from the founding up to today. There was no self congratulatory verbiage.

That was really a violation of our ethics and he made a mockery of our Independence Day.”

I recently watched a German-made political movie, The Lives of Others, which was released back in 2006. Every American should take the opportunity to watch this movie, for it portrayed the destructive consequences for the people and a society living under what was formally an all-powerful East German police state. The East German state police agency, the Stasi, was granted virtually unlimited power to monitor and spy on the lives of their citizens with the objective of maintaining absolute control over all aspects of the personal and professional lives of its people.

Since the moment President Trump announced his plan to celebrate the 4th of July with a parade and a tribute to our military, leftists' heads exploded. How dare he? they asked, as if an Independence Day parade and celebration would be unusual. It is not; it used to be a normal, every-year thing. But suddenly, because it's Trump, it's all wrong. So the networks, CNN and MSNBC, announced their decisions to not air it. Trump's speech would just be "all about him." They have apparently forgotten Obama's pathological obsession with himself.

It’s official: Despite claims from Democrats that President Donald Trump’s policies have only benefited the wealthy, his policies are in reality slated to benefit every American household to the tune of $3,100 annually, minimum, starting sometime after five to 10 years. “Since January 2017, there has been a historic effort to reduce costly regulation, while protecting workers, public health, safety, and the environment,” a report published by the White House Council of Economic Advisers last month reads. “[The council] estimates that after 5 to 10 years, this new approach to Federal regulation will have raised real incomes by $3,100 per household per year.”

The notion of history repeating itself is usually viewed as a negative statement, but some history is worth repeating because we might learn and be guided by it. In last week’s 5-4 ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court rejecting the Trump administration’s claim that adding a question about whether a person is a U.S. citizen was for the purpose of helping to enforce the Voting Rights Act, Chief Justice John Roberts left the door open for the administration to come up with a more compelling reason. Whether this can be done in time for the 2020 Census is doubtful without an extension for document printing.

In America, we celebrate the 4th of July and not April 15th, because, in America, we celebrate our independence from the government and not our dependence on it. And so we celebrate Independence Day 2019. Growing up, I thought of our Founders almost like superheroes — larger than life. As the son of a small-town pastor and a part-time bookkeeper, I was not able to travel much so my first visit to Independence Hall in Philadelphia came later in life. It was almost like entering the Hall of Justice in the television show “Super Friends.” Standing inside the hall and looking at the chairs and desks,

Kamala Harris, calling on the nation to “deal with the racial wealth gap,” on Saturday proposed a $100 billion federal program to help black people buy homes. The California senator said the plan, which would provide down payment and closing cost assistance of up to $25,000 to people renting or living in historically red-lined communities, would help some 4 million home-buyers. The plan’s release comes as Harris surges in Democratic presidential primary polls following a debate last week in which she chastised former Vice President Joe Biden for his past opposition to busing and former associations with segregationist senators. Analysis from Ethical Consumer magazine found that major brands were using less recycled paper than in 2011, while only five of the nine major supermarkets (the Co-op, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Waitrose) offered an own-brand recycled toilet paper. The large-scale use of virgin paper contributes to unnecessary deforestation. In the viral moment of the first Democratic presidential debates, Sen. Kamala Harris attacked former vice president Joe Biden over his opposition to forced busing to integrate public schools. The Harris campaign is now waffling on the issue. Over time, we may look back on that as a moment revealing Harris’s underlying weakness as a candidate. Immediately after the debate, while clips rolled of Harris touting how she personally benefited from busing, Harris surged in the polls and Biden sagged a bit. It is less clear that Harris successfully cracked Biden’s appeal with black voters, which is likely key to the success of both candidates. In live dial-tests during the debate,
