The new bill, SB 288, would allow them to be part of shaping the party’s platform, including serving as state convention delegates and county committee leaders.
Sen. Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) told reporters Friday that he wants the bill to send a loud message to America.
“We need to continue to send a very, very loud message that we are … going to embrace and uplift and support all American immigrant neighbors,” he said, adding that the bill would “allow Dreamers and

They are opening the door for a full blown leftist/Communist takeover of the California state government. If something like that happened, would the feds step in?

You have to wonder at the mental state of people that would elect idiots like Wiener, but then, they've already given us Pelosi, Waters, Swalwell, Schiff and Harris!

My own home state...; cockroaches from Hell infesting her everywhere! All democrats are infected with this destructive madness. There is not one in the party with the courage and moral clarity to put a stop to it! The republican politicians in this once Golden State are nothing more than mere powerless and useless spectators. I’m ready to go; either east, or preferably, up.

The people of Kalifornia have basically given their state to Mexico. How can people be so self destructive?

(first post apologies,,,) but, the message is clear - California has gone completely freaking insane.
The founders displayed a wonderful level of genius when they designed our constitution. It had one procedural omission, though.
It did not provide a way to kick an insane state out of the Union.
It would take an amendment to do that. So, in a way, I just contradicted myself.

I believe that every state remains in the union of their own free will and that secession is and was perfectly legal. But can 49 states choose to secede from California? Translation for Obama loyalists, that's 57 states secede from California.

There's strength in numbers and the demonic Dems and the filthy media cartel will regret the day they brought this scourge to our soil. California is like a tinderbox right now. Not even Marianne Williamson's "Love" will be able to calm the scorching flames of hate the Left has foisted upon us.

The number of California's electoral votes should be reduced by the percentage of illegal immigrants (voters!) in the state! Same goes for other ''sanctuary'' states!
Only citizens must elect America's leaders!

And where are they getting the income to live in the US while they carry out these new roles? Who is supporting them? Recruiting them? Businesses that are employing them need to be prosecuted for hiring illegals.

The next step for the Democrat socialists in California is to make it legal for all illegal aliens sojourning in California to vote in all California elections.

Sorry, Poster #16, that's just a stop-gap solution.
If California insists on allowing ineligible voters, then their entire Electoral College vote should be declared invalid.
Other states should bring a lawsuit to effect this, wouldn't a state's electoral voters have "standing" to claim their votes would be cancelled by the votes of ineligible voters?
What did the "older" states do when pioneer states allowed women to vote before suffrage?
