Sen. Cory Booker accused Democratic presidential frontrunner Joe Biden on Friday of not having the right "language" to talk about race that's needed to win the party's 2020 nomination. Booker's comment came after Biden spoke about race relations in the U.S. during an appearance in Chicago earlier in the day. “That kid wearing a hoodie may very well be the next poet laureate and not a gangbanger," Biden said, making a rhetorical point during his remarks at the headquarters of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, a group of nonprofits organized by the Rev. Jesse Jackson. But Booker, an African-American senator from

But it's okay for Cory to make up stories about all the gunshots on his block.
Two questions for you, Cory:
1) Where do you really live?
2) Where's your "boo"?

Biden is exactly correct. Corrine Booker is exactly wrong.
One study, examining teacher assumptions about black children found that when black students didn't make eye contact with the teacher, the teacher found that to be rude. But in the black sub-culture, children were taught to not make eye contact with authority figures, because making eye contact would be rude.

This comment about poets is actually not too shabby considering that it came from Biden. It was the black gangs themselves I believe who came up with the term 'hoodie'. So what else are we supposed to call that attire? And they do wear it to disguise themselves when committing crime Cory. And gangbanger is a term that has been used by law enforcement for years now to refer to the members who are pretty much the cannon fodder for the gang. Given how Cory proudly proclaims he lives around poor people, you would think he would be more observant about things.

Any time there's a conversation with a black, it seems somewhere, somehow race is brought up. Tiresome.

Oh so sensitive, aren’t we? How is there ever going to be meaning communication if blacks get the vapors for every possible trigger word in the English language?

“That kid in the hoodie” has been coached by his older cousins
to keep his face covered in case an opportunity to steal, snatch
and run, smash and grab pops up. In pandering to blacks who
have never heard the word laureate before, he reminded the rest
of us that hoodies are more than an inner-city fashion statement.

I suppose the "right language" then would be ebonics.

So now He Who Would Be King is exhorting other candidates to use the right language. Even when all of us know that the hoodie is the uniform of the black male culture. He would have us not believe our lying eyes.
Booker will get touchy again if he mentions the kids wearing pink panties….

Blacks have made these terms up themselves. We just use their own vernacular. Racists look for ANY opportunity to claim racism. I am sick and tired of black victim-hood being out front at all times. We never see other minorities with such a chip on their shoulder, but of course other minorities have not been drinking from the Federal welfare system as long or as much as the blacks.

I'm surprised Sparticus didn't mention that hoodies were a part of black culture, like the odd haircuts we learned about yesterday.
