I’m sure the package has a long list of checkboxes on the side. It comes with a stack of miniature bumper stickers with which you can festoon the chair - one for each of the 26 dimocrats candidates.

She has a long plastic neck that looks like a straw.. so this is illegal contraband in San Francisco. Matel successfully sued a band for “Come on Barbie Let’s Go Party” for damaging their brand by sexualizing their product... Before they came out with Dominatrix “Black Canary Barbie” with her fishnet tights, high boots and a black leather jacket and Rape and Vengeance backstory. All from a company that quotes the AMA on letting girls be girls and how damaging it is to sexualize these impressionable children. Well, whatever sells the product on any given day...

I think this is great. The doll is lovely and the wheelchair is great and a ramp. Having taken care of someone in a wheelchair for 8 years, people need to be made much more aware of wheelchairs. People would watch me struggle to hold a door open and push my person in the wheelchair through and not even help. Same with elevators. Sad.

The article said this is Barbie's 60th birthday. When are they coming out with a "wrinkly" Barbie?

How about burn victim Barbie? I mean, why not, right? If there's any group in our society, no matter how small, that feels insufficiently represented in all our daily lives, then lets distort everything we do to cater to them until that feeling goes away.
Let's start at the top. Barbie is not reality and was never intended to be. She was a fantasy deliberately designed to be what most girls were not: breezy, pretty, carefree. Barbie was simple and happy. She didn't have social issues or personal problems or birth defects. She was not representative; she was aspirational.
And you couldn't make her representative if you try. "Transgender Barbie?" That's not even possible. Have a look under the hood: Barbie's missing some parts. She isn't even anatomically correct, and yet we're supposed to make her politically correct.
Under the letter of the law, I am technically disabled. I have never accepted any of the privileges the law entitles me to, nor would I expect anyone to indulge me in any way because of it. It embarrasses me when people make an issue of it or seek special treatment on my behalf.
So why does anyone else care that their particular minority isn't represented in something? Why is there now a social score card for everything we do? There has never been a diabetic super hero. Does that mean society is prejudiced against diabetics? Of course not. It means diabetes is irrelevant. I don't want heroes share my diseases. I want heroes who inspire me and take me out of my own life.
Barbie belongs in her Dream House, where little girls can join her from time to time and leave their troubles behind for awhile.

I disagree that the black Barbie has ''natural hair. It is the ''Mickey Mouse'' hair style. Two round ''ears'' is not natural.
