Ohio Democrat Rep. Tim Ryan admitted that Democrats have lost touch with “working class people” while being questioned during the first presidential debate held in Miami, Florida.
After he answered a question regarding solutions to climate change, Ryan jumped to respond to a previous question on “real politics.”
“We could talk about climate, we could talk about guns, we could talk about all of these issues that we all care about,” Ryan told MSNBC’s Chuck Todd. “We have a perception problem with the Democratic Party.”
“We are not connecting to the working class people in the very states that I represent in Ohio, in the industrial midwest,”

He's right in describing how out of touch today's Dem Party is with normal people. But he seems clueless about which side of the issues he mentions those normal people are on. Hint, not his. But let them stay in the dark. Better for us and the country.

My take is that the dems major priorities are getting all immigrants, legal or illegal, into the country any which way, giving all things for free without any concerns about the costs, catering to the LGBTQ, and hating and resisting all things Trump.

It all hinges on what "connecting " means. Real economic reforms, policies that incentivize business, create meaningful jobs, free individual workers from coercion. Or phony lip service while colluding with unions on one side and taking away their earnings through taxation, reparations, illegal immigration, sending their jobs abroad ?

"Democrats have lost all connection to reality". There, fixed the headline.

Dems have never been for the working people or any group of people. They lie about who they are to get power, own all the stuff, boss everyone and everything without being qualified to do either, and lastly, kill babies. Plain and simple.

The Democrat-stacked audience gave him a tepid welcome on the parts I saw. Dems have little interest in listening to the working class. Illegal immigrants and anyone with a a gripe or complaint about America is their voter base.

Ryan was wrong. It is not that Democrats 'lost all connection' to the working class. It is that George Soros coastal democrats have pushed the working class away, much like a man pushes away his ex wife.
*Ryan replaced Jim Trafficant as congressman from Youngstown, Ohio. Trafficant went to federal prison for doing to his staff exactly what John Conyers did to his staff. (Conyers, whose wife, Marcia went to prison for taking bribes as president of the Detroit City Council, suffered no penalty for stsff abuse/misuse. He learned his lesson, wrote the House Ethics Committee, after investigating complaints filed by Conyers' black staff members.) .
I miss Trafficant, who was nutty, but funny.

Then the ten leftist and liberal Democrats jumped in their clown car and drove off into the sunset!
Tonight we will see a rerun, except for uncle Joe Biden who will want to make America great again by returning to the Obama era corrupt “Chicago Way” political policies, so that the “UniParty” Congress and the in cahoots so-called bureaucratic “Deep State” can get back in business as in the past.

His solution is to build electric cars and solar panels which most people know are a crock and only viable with heavy government subsidies and/or unrealistic CAFE standards.

Yep, and it is a good thing that the people are figuring this out. So many history Dems have
in the past voted for Dems who cared absolutely nothing about them or their views, now
learning or dying off.
