Ocasio-Cortez Wants Debt Canceled
Because ‘I Have Student Loans Too’

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is on board with Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) proposal to erase all student loan debt, because she has not paid off her student loans either, she said Monday. While making remarks in support of Sanders’ sweeping bill to cancel $1.6 trillion in student loan debt, Ocasio-Cortez discussed her “personal stake” in the fight. She wants to make the bill a reality, in part, because she has outstanding student loans. “I will be completely honest. I will disclose my personal stake in this fight because I have student loans too,” she said Monday. “And I think it’s so funny. A year ago, I was waiting tables in a restaurant.”

Agree with her, but only if the loans paid for by the government are for graduates that studied Science, Technology, Engineering or Medicine. Students of social justice, gender studies and the like still pay their own. Also, limit the payments to students in state universities, no Harvards, Yales or Princetons!

AOC should not worry about her college loans. She actually has a refund coming from Boston University, as an apology for granting her a degree in the first place. Is this a great country, or what? Where else can you go from bartender to dancing on her roof to being a member of Congress?

I want all mortgages canceled because i have one too. If my schooling had been free i would have used all that money to pay cash for the house and wouldn’t have a mortgage. And if my schooling had been paid for I shouldn’t have had to use that cash to buy a house instead, so i should be paid for the house as well. Now, make me president.

Me thinks the liberals in this country want a European, free education system so they don't ever have to "engage with the free market system" until they enter their professional lives. If that's what they want do they know what that brings? Do they realize that in Europe failure to score high on their High School nationalized test means they have NO chance of university ever, anywhere? If they don't score high enough they will be looking at a life in a skilled trade, assuming they can pass the rigorous apprenticeship and testing that goes with that. If they can't do that they're resigned to being a shopkeeper of some sort, and competing with the gypsies and muslim invaders. Yes, American punks, you want that? If so you're nutz. The whine of the millineal punks, "Capitalism is, is, it's just so hard!"

Why does she still have student loan debt? She’s 29 years old and should have paid them off by now. I wonder how much she’s getting nailed in interest. She makes something like $174,000 per year now, so paying them off should be no problem. She just wants it done with OPM like every leftist on the planet.

OAC chose to go to a very expensive college. OAC chose to take out student loans. OAC chose to be a bartender/waitress instead of getting a different job for which her college degree should have qualified her for. OAC has made a series of choices which have led her to still have student loan debt. I should not have to pay her bills due to her poor choices. I have my own bills to pay.

A new study from Georgetown University reveals that if the student bodies of the 200 most selective American colleges were enrolled solely on objective SAT or ACT aptitude test scores, their student bodies would increase from 66 percent white under the current subjective system to 75 percent white. Ironically, this study was supposed to prove, in the wake of the entertaining and immensely popular Varsity Blues scandal in which TV actresses bribed their lowbrow kids into USC instead of Arizona State, that affluent white people have unfair advantages in college admissions.
