Who Are You Going To Believe,

Last week, we reviewed the evidence of “innocence” of the “Central Park Five” presented in the court of Hollywood. This week, we’ll review the evidence of their guilt — presented in courts of law and ruled on by actual judges and juries. The five accused rapists — Kevin Richardson, Antron McCray, Raymond Santana, Yusef Salaam and Kharey Wise — were duly convicted of the 1989 Central Park rape, as well as other assaults in the park that night; “exonerated” 13 years later; and, more than a decade after that, paid $40 million by the city of New York to settle a malicious prosecution case

I was appalled to see Neflix trot out this show, I know the story and it can only be sold with lies. I listen to Mark Davis out of Dallas in the morning on internet streaming radio, in many ways he's a treasure. He'll usually talk for several minutes a day with Mike Gallagher out of NYC, another conservative radio host. I couldn't believe what Gallagher was saying about this Netflix travesty -- the perps were just young teens at the time (awww...); one confessed, meaning the others bore only so much blame for their many crimes; how they're living well today, speaking as activists; downright pillars of society it would seem. And yeah, the cops surely squeezed confessions out of them. MG missed reality by miles, what an utter buffoon. I can only hope Mark Davis does some research this and doesn't fall down the same rabbit hole. As good as Davis is, he can be too conciliatory at times, giving room where it's not merited.

Whats missing in this country is what used to unite us: Truth. Any lie can be believed without critical thinking skills and that's certainly not taught in our schools.

Remember when the esteemed obummer’s got a contract with Netflix and Michelle said they were going to tell stories? That just falls in line with NF’s take on this horrific crime. Stories are fiction; history is what actually happened, good or bad. IOW, truth.

For those who decided to end or not get a Netflix account, you are missing out on some awesome programming. Programming that has absolutely ZERO to do with liberals. Hollywood classics, excellent documentaries, Historical documentaries on various subjects, and programming from British, European and Asian nations that far surpasses Hollywood in watchable quality. I enjoy both my Netflix and my Amazon Prime accounts. Much better than cable ever will be. I remember this case, and the horror it struck in our hearts as a nation. If those jury members found them guilty based on the evidence before them, they are not innocent, not a bit. Did they ever give any kind of update regarding the victim who was beaten senseless with a brick, and probably doesn't have her same quality of life after that? Doubtful.

I've never had Netflix, have never seen anything on Netflix, have no interest or intention to ever do anything with it - particularly now that Barry & Co. are schmoozing and getting richer with it. To me, Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, et al., are the one and same cesspool of rotting media culture, only with differing desktop icons. This is not Mao's China [yet], we have alternatives. And as along as we have alternatives, my hard earned cash will never go to any of those vicious leftist swamps.

Keith Raniere, the former head of purported self-help group NXIVM, was convicted Wednesday on federal charges accusing him of keeping women as his “sex slaves.” A jury in federal court in Brooklyn took less than five hours to find Raniere guilty on all counts of sex-trafficking and other charges accusing him of coercing women into unwanted sex using systematic shame and humiliation. The sorority, sometimes called “The Vow,” was created “to satisfy the defendant’s desire for sex, power and control,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Moira Penza said in closing arguments .

Congratulations are in order for the publisher of the New York Times, A.G. Sulzberger, who has finally landed an op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal. He’s moving on up. And with an important piece about how irresponsible it is for President Trump to issue a tweet accusing the Times of committing, in the course of exposing our cyber attacks on Russia’s electrical grid, “virtual treason.” Our own view is that, given the temper of the times (and, for that matter, the Times), Mr. Sulzberger has missed part of the story. The 448-page Mueller report has been public for two months, so it might seem strange that the Justice Department's original instructions to special counsel Robert Mueller, outlining what he was assigned to investigate, are still a secret. But they are. And now, it turns out those instructions were more extensive than previously known. Until now, it was widely understood that there had been two "scope memos" from the DOJ to Mueller. Now, it turns out there was a third, as well. When Mueller was first appointed, on May 17, 2017, the appointment document, signed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, authorized Mueller to investigate three areas: "i) any links and/or

Not all conservatives are culture warriors. Many just crave less government and more control over their lives. Once upon a time that was enough. It didn’t require much beyond a trip to the voting booth. That’s how I came of age. Vote Republican. Consume news beyond the biased mainstream media. Leave the culture alone. It’ll work itself out. It’s America, right? Baseball, apple pie and the rest of that Chevy jingle. Then things changed, and the times forced me to change, too. Ignoring the culture wars no longer seemed like an option, and it didn’t always boil down to a Left/Right skirmish. I’m betting this reluctant warrior is far from alone.
