My first rich boy pulled down my underpants. My last rich boy pulled down my tights. My first rich boy — I had fixed my eyes on his face long enough to know — was beautiful, with dark gray eyes and long golden-brown hair across his forehead. I don’t know what he grew up to be. My last rich boy was blond. He grew up to be the president of the United States.
The first rich boy’s name was James. He was raped by his grandfather. He was raped by his uncles. He was beaten by his father. My mother told me the stories much later.

Drivers will be forced off the roads in Ireland and the population packed into “higher density” cities under a long-awaited climate plan which will ‘revolutionise’ people’s lifestyle and behaviours, according to local media.
“Nudge” policies such as huge tax hikes, as well as bans and red tape outlined in the plan, will pave the way to a “vibrant” Ireland of zero carbon emissions by 2050 according to the government, which last year committed to boost the country’s 4.7 million-strong population by a further million with mass migration.
In order to avert a “climate apocalypse”, the government plans

The Obamas are soaking up everything France has to offer — including a meetup with famous rock stars. Barack and his wife Michelle were joined by their daughters Malia and Sasha while enjoying a lunch date with U2's Bono and The Edge on Friday afternoon, just one day after it was reported their next vacation stop is George and Amal Clooney's Italian villa on Lake Como. The 57-year-old former president and his family were seen strolling through the medieval city of Èze as they made their way to the two-Michelin-starred restaurant La Chèvre d'Or.

President Donald Trump confirmed Friday he pulled back a military strike on Iran after he learned the number of possible casualties. “We were cocked & loaded to retaliate last night on three different sights (sic),” Trump revealed on Twitter. The attack was planned in retaliation for Iran shooting down a U.S. surveillance drone on Thursday in international waters.Trump said prior to the strikes he was told by a general the casualties could be up to 150 people. “Ten minutes before the strike I stopped it, not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone,” he wrote. Trump added that he was in “no hurry” for additional military conflicts with Iran

The Left’s reparations strategy is working as intended:
The push for slavery reparations is all about anger, not justice. In the face of the prosperity Donald Trump has brought, the Democrats worry about their dependence in high turnout and 90%+ voting support from African-Americans. (snip) The one emotion that can both unite group solidarity and drive people to vote is anger. I the current economy satisfies people, then some other source must be found, for as Saul Alinksy taught them, “it's up to us to go in and rub raw the sores of discontent, galvanize them for radical social change.”

On Friday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), the runner-up for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination and a 2020 candidate, said his "Medicare for All" program would extend health care coverage to the 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. "We are gonna end that and create a Medicare for All healthcare system which guarantees health care to every man woman and child and saves the average American substantial sums of money," Sanders said at the NALEO conference in Miami."Senator, would you include the 11 million undocumented immigrants in that?" a moderator asked."Absolutely. Absolutely," Sanders responded. "When I talk about health care being a human right,

Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour sold over 120 of his guitars for a charity that combats climate change.
According to NBC News, the former frontman’s auction raked in $21.5 million, all of which will be donated to ClientEarth, a nonprofit environmental law organization that prides itself on using the law to "combat climate change” and “defend habitats and wildlife," according to its Facebook page.
Gilmour tweeted about his decision to sell the guitars on Friday, writing, “The choice really is that simple, and I hope that the sale of these guitars will help ClientEarth in their cause to use the law to bring about real change.”

During a closed-door testimony on Wednesday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler just couldn't quite remember Hope Hicks’ name.
He knew exactly what he was doing, though. The New York Democrat addressed Hicks as "Ms. Lewandowski" three times, insulting her while he questioned her about Corey Lewandowski, President Trump’s former campaign manager with whom Hicks was alleged to have had an affair.

United Methodist Church parishioners in Minnesota are taking a stand on an issue that's dividing the church.
This week at the Minnesota Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, members voted to make the church more inclusive, voting to reject the church's long-standing policies involving LGBTQ members and clergy. (snip) "The LGBTQIA+ community is present in the Untied Methodist Church," Zaagsma said. "We're talking about people in our churches."

Jerry Nadler is the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and he’s currently leading what can only be described as a clown show of an investigation involving the President and his associates. After saying the Mueller report would be the final word, he and other Democrats have decided they want a do-over, which means dragging everyone who’s already been interviewed multiple times back in front of Congress for no real reason whatsoever. This had Nadler waddling into yet another “hearing,” this time with former Trump associate Hope Hicks being grilled. And when I say waddled, I mean that quite literally.(Tweet)

Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernard Sanders said this week they are open to decriminalizing sex work, as the 2020 presidential contenders weigh-in on an idea being embraced by some in the Democratic Party’s left wing. Ms. Warren told The Washington Post that sex workers deserve autonomy, “but they are particularly vulnerable to physical and financial abuse and hardship.” “We need to make sure we don’t undermine legal protections for the most vulnerable, including the millions of individuals who are victims of human trafficking each year,” the Massachusetts Democrat said. The Sanders campaign also said Mr. Sanders thinks decriminalization should be considered,
