President Donald Trump’s migration reforms are cutting the flow of taxpayer funds to the American teachers and schools that welcome the children of illegal migrants, say education industry insiders. Federal funding for Baltimore’s John Ruhrah Elementary/Middle School has declined because many adults migrants are refusing to enroll in federal anti-poverty welfare programs, the New York Times reported June 16. The migrants are avoiding the welfare programs because of fear they will get deportation notices instead of green cards: The southeast Baltimore school lost more than $240,000 for the next school year after it was dropped from a federal anti-poverty program, called Title I

I know a lot of Catholics who do not give to Catholic Charities for just that reason. Why should American children be denied what their parents pay for thru taxes Illegals are breaking the law by being here. Then they get rewarded. Not on my dime!

#3 I’m one of those Catholics who refuse to support “ the annual support for social justice”. They just don’t get it. Here in Maine, local voices are shouting loud and clear that the amount of Africans seeking amnesty in ME are taking away from those citizens in dire need. That’s what happens when every office in the state is run by democrats. They come with huge families and are well dressed which implies someone is paying for this influx.

As a practicing Catholic, I have reduced my donations to next to nothing. I refuse to enable Catholic Charities to continue to assist in the destruction of this country and I am tired of my money being used to pay off victims of sexual abuse that was hidden and tolerated by the church for years. They can raid the coffers of the Vatican for that.

This is a difficult moral issue. While I firmly believe that I, as a Christian, I must not turn my back on the poor, I also firmly believe that the laws of our land must be upheld. People who are here illegally have committed a crime and they should be held accountable for their crimes. Lawlessness benefits no one. These kids are being pimped. I would like to see churches get more involved. That said, we must also stand very firm in our desire to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ among the poor that we help. We must be allowed to change hearts and minds. If we don't stand firm on this, then we are also going to be pimped. We will just be doing the heavy lifting for the SJWs. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. Matt 24:12 This is a tough call! I cannot argue with any believer that wants to pull their support for churches who want to help illegals, as some have done on this thread.

The corrupt education community is upset that their funding has been reduced. They do not care about the wellbeing of the country; they only care about their power and more jobs for members of their teachers unions. Illegal immigrants should go back to where they came from and focus their energy on iimproving conditions and creating opportunities in their own countries.

It baffles me why they have such a problem with Americans First. You can just bet that if their personal privilege was endangered, they would suddenly become all American. Kind of like Cher when Trump mentioned in passing he was going to bus illegals to LA. Make them stand by their own words Mr. President.

The operation is the first of its kind, according to the newspaper, which also claimed two administration officials said President Donald Trump is believed not to have been briefed on the mission. While today’s incumbent advertises himself as an “extremely stable genius” and those who would replace him promise national transformation, attention should be paid to the granular details of presidential politics, which suggest that a politics of modesty might produce voting changes where they matter, and at least 270 electoral votes for a Democrat.

James Madison is justly celebrated for his frequently stated opinion that “all power in just and free Government is derived from compact.” But Madison’s view is not endorsed by all purported champions of the founders. A recent article, “Our Unwritten Constitution: Orestes Brownson and the Foundation of American Liberty,” published as part of the Real Clear Policy series on the American Project and co-authored by Richard M. Reinsch II and the late Peter Augustine Lawler, argues that Madison is utterly mistaken in his claim. In fact, the authors claim that reliance on “Lockean contract theory” produced a constitution that was “devised solely in the interest of the rights of individuals”

“What’s your pitch to the swing voter on the fence?” ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked President Trump on Sunday. Questions of this sort are gifts to politicians, but interviewers ask them for a couple of reasons. One, they’re civic-minded. Politicians deserve the opportunity to make their cases straightforwardly — and voters deserve to hear them. Second, they save time.
