One of the suspects wanted in the shooting of David Ortiz is also being sought for a 2018 attempted murder in Pennsylvania—while the baseball slugger’s admitted triggerman may be connected to two New Jersey robberies, according to reports. Luis Alfredo Rivas Clase, 31, one of the four remaining suspects still at large following Sunday’s attempted hit on the former baseball slugger, is also one of the suspects wanted in connection to an April 2018 shooting in Reading, Pennsylvania, according to NBC 10. The victim in that shooting, a man, was hit in the back and survived.

Surprise! Surprise! Criminals from another country travel freely back and forth to America with impunity and without detection. I wonder if they travel by air and go through TSA check easier than the average American. Or, do they cross the border and benefit from catch them at the border and release them into the country? What a system. Thank you, evil leftists.

New York — Mastercard will allow transgender people to use their chosen names on credit cards in an effort to combat discrimination at the cash register. That means that the name on the credit card owned by a transgender person could be different than that found on their birth certificate or driver’s license. It is up to the banks that issue the cards to actually implement the change and on Monday, Mastercard called on those banks to do so.

Hartford, Conn. — Three Connecticut girls who participate on high school track teams have filed a federal discrimination complaint against a statewide policy on transgender athletes, saying it has cost them top finishes in competitions and possibly college scholarships. The conservative Christian law firm Alliance Defending Freedom filed the complaint on behalf of the girls Monday with the U.S. Education Department’s Office for Civil Rights. It seeks an investigation and actions to make competitions fair. The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference governs high school sports in the state. It says its policy follows a state anti-discrimination law requiring students to be treated

Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder roared up to Cannes Lions in his $180 million yacht as ad sources speculated he’s in town to find a title sponsor for the team’s new stadium. Snyder, worth an estimated $2.2 billion, hopes to build a new facility at the site of RFK Stadium—the team’s historic former home—in DC. He has reportedly been working with congressional Republicans and the Trump administration to include language in a new federal spending bill that would help pave the way for the new stadium. The Redskins’ lease for their current stadium, FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, expires in 2027, but

Life outside the White House has been sweet for former President Barack Obama, with perhaps the most difficult thing being the one he does best: politics. Mr. Obama is navigating a landscape in which he must fit his obvious relish for the celebrity lifestyle with an unwritten code of conduct for past chief executives, a world that is his for the taking yet tradition dictates he do so incrementally. It’s a political scene where players may covet his endorsement or desire his invisibility. Mr. Obama enjoys tremendous post-presidential popularity within the Democratic Party’s rank and file, but he has not always

At least 15 people broke State Department rules in mishandling former Secretary Hillary Clinton’s emails, the department said in a new review released publicly Monday. While the full review is not completed, the department said it’s found 23 violations and seven infractions of security protocols related to Mrs. Clinton’s emails. Some of the 15 people got write-ups placed in their security files at the department, according to a letter sent to Sen. Chuck Grassley. Those could affect future attempts to gain security clearances, the department said. “The department considers and violation of security policies to be a serious matter,”

It’s striking how quickly the culture can change. Just a short time ago, surely few would’ve believed that a common viewpoint — that it would be unfair to let guys take away athletic victories from girls by allowing them to compete in women’s sports — would be labeled the result of an irrational fear. Yet here we are: What was considered common sense and common goodness is now a symptom of mental illness. “Transphobia” has gotten so much traction, in fact, that Brazil just criminalized it — it’s punishable by a half decade in prison.
