A newly released Quinnipiac University Poll shows that that favorable feelings about the economy aren't helping President Donald Trump's approval ratings — even though the state of the economy is one of his favorite talking points. It also shows that Joe Biden has the highest favorability ratings among the Democratic field.
According to the poll, 71% of the voters say that the economy is "good" or "excellent," the highest proportion of favorable feelings on the economy in nearly 18 years of Quinnipiac's polling.
Last month's economic data showed that unemployment in the United States had fallen to 3.6%, a 50-year low. That said, 45% of voters disapproved

Quinnipiac is a fake polling firm with no credibility. As soon as I see that it's a Q poll, I disregard it.

Won't be surprised if Trump not getting credit is due to the manner in which the question is being asked - have you stopped beating your wife kind.

Couldn't have anything to do with the way the MFM reports about it, could it? Over the weekend, I saw the headline: "Trump's Tariffs Wipe Out People's Gains from Tax Cut."
If they couldn't lie, they'd have nothing to print.

We are DJT supporters, and will continue to be. But we don't have a TRUMP bumper sticker on our car because we don't want it to be vandalized.
I suspect when someone is polled, and denies supporting DJT, the 'bumper sticker effect' is in play.

Strange it must be new math because the article says 48 give him credit and 45 don't so how does that compute? Obviously not everyone had an opinion or did not want to share it. More push polling, I might also point out that Quinnipiac had Hillary up by 7 points in Oct of 2016. Not exactly a good sign of accurate polling in my humble opinion. Check Rasmussen they are much more accurate and he has a 50% approval today which is better than Obama at the same time in his Presidency.

Twisted logic and fake news all the way. Biden has approval among the democrats because he is a democrat and the other choices are like choosing between sewer pipe sludge or vomit for lunch. Rated with all Americans he is an old white boy loser. The people in my area talk about the Trump economy daily where business is booming and there are more Help Wanted signs than people to fill the jobs. During the Obola/Biden years there was more despair and anger than an army of psychiatrists could handle.

What are the chances that the Enemedia have already received their DNC talking points about a "good economy" (scare quotes) being bad for the country? How likely is it that we will soon be hearing "explanations" of why prosperity is actually "hurting people", "increasing the gap between rich and poor", "fueling resentments overseas" and that it's all the fault of OrangeManBad?
It's a certainty.

Polls, conducted by trolls. The news is too good to report on, so they conduct and report polls.

After poll after poll telling us that Hillary Clinton was a shoo-in in 2016, who can ever again believe in polls? I didn't believe them in 2016 either. All you had to do was see the enormous crowds that were at Trump's rallies compared to the anemic crowds that came to see Hilary.
I mean, we are dumb, but we are not stupid.

Quinnipiac is literally (no hyperbole) the worst, and least reliable, polling outfit in existence.
Not sure why anyone (Republican or Democrat) pays attention.

FAKE NEWS: The poll offers a false choice. The majority of the leaders say that the economy is good or excellent. But because Trump's approval numbers have not gone up , USA Today insists that he isn’t getting credit for the good economy. It’s subtle, but it is also devious.
