Rosenstein predicts Barr's critics may

Rod Rosenstein predicts Attorney General William Barr's detractors who criticize him for his handling of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation may come around one day.No stranger to controversy himself, the former deputy attorney general stressed to the New York Times that Barr made the right call when he determined there was insufficient evidence to initiate criminal prosecution against President Trump for obstruction of justice.“A few years from now, after all of this is resolved, some of Barr’s critics might conclude that his approach was a reasonable way to navigate through a difficult situation,” he said.

Although he was, is, and will always be, a feckless worm, I think Rosenstein had a “come to Jesus” moment not too long ago and is now siding with the Forces of Good to save his skin.

I am not saying that a President is above the law but should be given all possible leeway to do his job especially within his Article 2 powers. Obstruction of what, first? Firing the prosecutor in a case where he is a witness, second? Firing the prosecutor for corruption when his team are all Trump haters, third? No obstruction because Trump did not try to stop the investigation, fourth? A President can fire anyone at anytime for any reason that works in the Executive Branch, fifth? The President, out of loyalty, had a horribly incompetent AG that didn't know how to do his job and should have fired Mueller and Comey, sixth? And the only person guilty of obstruction of justice is Jeff, the weasel, Sessions that put us through 2 1/12 years and multi-millions of dollars because as he was going after pot smokers and stated publicly that he would not criminalize political campaigns. He failed as AG because he doesn't have the authority to unilaterally decide what or what is not political criminality.

Fighting back against false charges isn't obstruction. Firing people under you for cause (specified by other people under you) isn't obstruction. Making your administration staff available for kangaroo court questioning isn't obstruction. Refusing to roll over and let the false charges go unchallenged isn't obstruction, either. So the smarmy commies should be forced to eat all that fecal matter they spewed, right before the firing squad fires, or the trapdoor opens under their feet. They are seditious traitors and should expect the death penalty. (And this means a lot of the 'media' types that are part of their propaganda arm, too!)

If there were any there, Robert Muller would have brought charges, just as Kenneth Starr brought charges against President Clinton in his impeachment process. There was no there there, and so Muller didn't bring charges. Ambiguity doesn't count.

The charge would have to be based on intent alone because nothing Trump did obstructed anything.

They will never admit anything of the sort because Trump's original sin was running for and winning the presidency. They'll never forgive him.

The High Cost of Education in
America – Indoctrination

One of my previous CNSNews.com commentaries was on the progressive, socialist left’s three branches of rule. Our constitutional republic’s three coequal branches of government – executive, legislative, and judicial – mean little to them in their quest for ideological domination. What the leftists in America rely on to implement their agenda are their branches of the media, the courts, and yes, academia. What the left has always known throughout history is that they must control the message, mandate their ideological agenda by court mandate, and indoctrinate future generations … the real high cost of education. There is a clear reason why the left has free college education

Alexcandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). Watergate witness John Dean, answering the House Judiciary Committee's call to testify on this Monday, told CNN what he plans to say at the 2 p.m. hearing. "What I'm going to try to do...I'm clearly not a fact witness, but I hope I can give them some context and show them how strikingly like Watergate what we're seeing now, and as reported in the Mueller report, is. "So I've taken several examples from the Mueller report relating to obstruction of justice, which is their focus today, and looked at those and made the comparisons," Dean said Monday morning. Robert Mueller says he was able to pinpoint security company executive Erik Prince’s precise location for several hours in January 2017 by matching his mobile phone signal to a cell site near Trump Tower in New York City. The special counsel’s report discloses the use of this investigative technique, by which police determine a suspect’s location via a cellphone’s GPS signal. The Prince narrative is one instance in unredacted sections of the report in which Mr. Mueller’s team explicitly discloses cellphone tracking. It raises the question of whether the FBI applied the process to other investigative subjects — a phone’s GPS signal can disclose its exact location within a few feet.

AT readers don’t need to be introduced to the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, the desperation measure concocted by the Democrats in an effort to make an end run around the Electoral College by pledging states to abide by the popular vote.Fourteen states, along with D.C., have so far passed the compact. One curious provision is that the compact does not go into effect until the number of electoral votes involved reaches 270 – a simple majority which would guarantee a candidate’s victory. The number of electoral votes controlled as of now is 189 – clearly, the promoters have been concentrating on large jurisdictions. The compact has 81 votes to go,

The deal to avert tariffs that President Trump announced with great fanfare on Friday night consists largely of actions that Mexico had already promised to take in prior discussions with the United States over the past several months, according to officials from both countries who are familiar with the negotiations. Friday’s joint declaration says Mexico agreed to the “deployment of its National Guard throughout Mexico, giving priority to its southern border.” But the Mexican government had already pledged to do that in March during secret talks in Miami between Kirstjen Nielsen, then the secretary of homeland security, and Olga Sanchez, the Mexican secretary of the interior, the officials said.

Lake Erie and Lake Superior — two of the five that make up the Great Lakes — broke records for water levels this May. Lakes Michigan and Huron could follow suit. Naturally, climate change is getting the blame. “We are undoubtedly observing the effects of a warming climate in the Great Lakes,” says Richard Rood, a University of Michigan climate scientist. But just a few years ago, climate scientists were insisting that a warming climate would cause water levels to decline. In 2008, Science Daily reported on a study that attributed the decline in Great Lakes water levels to global warming.
