The forthcoming report from the Office of Inspector General on potential Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse will finally unleash Attorney General William Barr, and when it does, watch out.
For the last month, conservative pundits have predicted the ever-imminent dropping of Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on his investigation into the circumstances surrounding FISA surveillance of former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page. Horowitz’s report will likely provide new and damaging details surrounding the FBI’s use of the FISA court to spy on Page. More importantly, the conclusion of Horowitz’s probe frees Barr to conduct a broader and more exacting investigation into all aspects of the Russia collusion hoax.

I don't know. Huber was one of the biggest duds ever seen. One can hope Horowitz has some integrity.

I still think Huber was some cardboard cut out to fool the rubes by the deep state folks. And as for Inspector General Horowitz, my dear departed sainted Irish Catholic momma's words ring true: Talk is cheap. It takes money to buy whiskey.
And I ain't seen any money on the table yet in this "Spygate" deal. Lots of talk, and some positive moves, but until I see Fox News covering the early morning arrest of some of the miscreants, well, I'm still waiting.
Obviously President Trump and AG Barr had to wait until Herr Mueller and his Swamp Gestapo issued their Manifesto ("Mein Collusion"), but it's time to show those folks how it's done.

How many coup-related documents have been declassified, unreacted, and made public? Why is it that something else always must be done first before the truth that exists on numerous documents can ever see the light of day?

Could Sessions, as AG, have been displaying signs of early onset dementia? He was snookered by Al Franken's lousy questions about Russian contacts, but fell flat on his face in fashioning answers - he looked worse than a first year law student at moot court. .
I have confidence in Barr, and would note the Dimocrats are terribly worried about him - that explains their attacks on his integrity. They have to knock him out quickly.

I don’t know guys. Remember Horowitz’s first report? There were some amazing revelations in it but he just couldn’t bring himself to fine anyone guilty of really anything, in spite of all those pesky little facts.
I just want him to get the dam thing submitted, get off the stage, and free up Barr to get down and dirty. I have no faith Horowitz can put two and two together and come up with anything. I don’t trust him. He’s swamp.

Time to get the wheels of justice moving at a visible speed. Heck, I've been waiting since Barry the Fraud was nominated in 2008 for some serious legal proceedings to begin...with big-time consequences for scores and scores of people.

William Barr has the opportunity to go down in history as the man who saved the Republic from internal rot. I hope and pray he seizes it.

More strutting and fretting, signifying nothing but pillow and sheet sales. If you think otherwise, Hannity has a purple unicorn you can pet. Yes, Rio Lindans, I'm tired and disgusted by this farce where the criminals continue to be rewarded and the innocent continue to be destroyed. Same as it ever was.

There is enough evidence made public RIGHT NOW to arrest half the Democrat Party and another half of Congress and the Senate. Not to mention the Clintons , Obama , Comey et all . And the nagging fact that if you or I were to fail to pay a traffic fine , a Swat Team would be dispatched to our home in the middle of the night to arrest you and kill all of your pets. Somehow causes this old Cherokee to doubt my pledge to endeavor to persevere. Translation for the weak of heart. The Natives are restless. We suspect that we are being played like so many cheap Fiddles . And our strings are frayed and stretched way too far. That is why we keep our War Paint close at hand these days. If you catch my drift.

This is like watching paint dry. We need the report and we need AG Barr to report on the declassified FISA docs.

Barr is fine, I think diGenova recommended him to Trump.
Moles are still present to stop an investigation. They are Chris Wray, Dan Coats, Haspel at CIA, anyone brought in by Gen. Kelly.
Brennen still has his security clearance.
Horowitz office is full of moles.
Richard Burr, Mark Warner, McConnell, and many Senators are moles as well under blackmail from the Clintons.
Jared and Ivanka are a bad negative influence on Trump.
It is very possible therefore, nothing will be done. Trump hired bad people because he believes he hires the best in those he thinks love him. And
like a naive spouse one year after the marriage......"what have I done?"

#6. About getting docs released. Wray and the new CIA head have been stalling. They don’t want docs released. They have stated that! Trump needs to come to work one day and say *the head of every agency in DC is fired. The next in charge is now head.*. If things don’t change in a week fire those. Get far enough down the food chain to do some good

Once the IG gives his report he is then done. Barr is then free to start the real investigation. The little fish will turn on the big fish. People will go to jail.
It will happen.

I see this as a huge plus. Barr knows the system and processes and is going to avoid kissing Dem's behinds and using the processes to impede an investigation. Instead, he is going to use processes to unleash the unlimited ower of goobernmentninvestigation. The key will be his follow through.

I've grown increasingly skeptical of any headline which begins "why" or "how". It seems to mean why=if it ever did happen, this would be the reason. And how=if it ever does happen, it could go like this. Reminds me of the ads that say: achieve eternal life, or add a million dollars to your savings account using this "one weird trick". We'll see.

Huber may have stood down on the FISA abuses, but whether or not he was truly doing nothing remains to be seen, because he was also investigating Hillary:
‘’“The other issues he’s been working on relating to Hillary Clinton. Those are winding down and hopefully, we’ll be in a position to bring those to fruition,” Barr said.’’

I've been hearing this report is "imminent" for so long it is starting to anger me. How long does it take for a bureaucrat to write down what has been transparent to all of us in flyover country for a year or more???

I am such a pessimist at this point. I am well aware the Nadler et al. brouhaha is to divert attention from the IG report, but have also seen some of the things uncovered on the Hannity program and they get NO play in the Press. (Plus watched Fox this evening talking about "undocumented aliens"---is that the same as ILLEGALS? so even Fox is pulling its punches.) I can see the report coming out and little made of it in the Press, and not prosecutions, needless to say. The ONLY plus is that a vast number of use are sop disgusted we will get out and vote forTrump and even wobbly Republicans.

Margot you totally missed it! Huber has been doing "nothing" on the FISA investigation. But in the very next sentence Barr says that's because he's been very busy investigating Hillary Clinton. Please go back and read the interview transcript. Thank you.
