LOUISVILLE, Ky. — June is Pride month, which means you may be seeing a lot of those iconic rainbow flags, depending on where you live. You might also see other flags flying next to them, meant to include the diversity of the LGBTQ community — here's what they all mean. The iconic six-striped rainbow flag was created by artist and veteran Gilbert Baker in 1978 at the request of activist Harvey Milk, according to Baker's website. Baker's original flag included eight colored stripes, each with a different meaning: pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for

Comments:

I had no idea. There are optional stripes for pansexuality, gender non-conforming, non-binary bi-sexuals, and on and on...

I could not agree more with #1. It will be interesting to see if any Democrat candidate gains a following by visibly stepping away from the full endorsement of sexual perversion. Probably not.

June used to be, traditionally, the month we celebrate Dads. Even more extensively, June is the month of weddings. Always remember, the Left is intent on destroying our history and traditions and our culture and of course our political-economic system (this is something Michelle Obama proclaimed in a speech during the '08 campaign). One ought to beware of what grows out of the ash heap and crumbled remains once the Revolution has succeeded... and it begins devouring its own.

Just call it Depravity Month and be done with it. When your sexuality defines who you are in every aspect of your life, you are debauched regardless of your sexual preference. And please don’t expect the rest of us to celebrate with you. Our sexual orientation does not define us. It is merely a part of who we are. Grow up.

It has become a cliche of this campaign: A White House hopeful pauses from a speech to invite beleaguered university graduates to shout out the size of the debt they carry -- as if competing in an auction -- and the numbers bellowed from the crowd spiral upward. In a nation where student loan debt has reached a staggering $1.6 trillion -- more than double the amount just a decade ago -- the call-outs are potent political theater. The promise of free college has catapulted from the fringe in 2015, when Sen. Bernie Sanders muscled the idea into presidential politics

It is a problem driven by an array of complex factors, including rising rents, a staggering shortage of affordable housing units, resistance to new shelters and housing developments in suburban neighborhoods, and

Joe Biden is now officially Causing Trouble for the Democrats. It's about abortion. The former vice president made clear on Wednesday that (at least as of now) he still supports the Hyde Amendment, a standard rider included for years on annual spending bills that prohibits using federal money to fund abortion. This isn’t going to blow over: Biden may be the only one of the hundreds of Democrats – okay, sorry, the two dozen Democrats – running for president to hold that position. So it’s an easy way for his rivals to attack him, and something that both voters and

CONCORD, NH - Joe Biden had fun on his second campaign trip to New Hampshire. The same could not be said for his campaign staff, nervously watching from the sidelines. Other times it was citing statistics that he acknowledged might be wrong. (“Don’t hold me to that” was a favorite refrain.)
