Is Joe Biden the Walter Mondale of
the 2020 presidential candidates?

Original Article

Joe Biden opened his much hyped 2020 presidential campaign last month by proclaiming the “first thing” he would do if elected is to repeal the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. That means the middle class would see a tax increase. Does that sound eerily familiar? It is because Walter Mondale made a similar promise when he ran for president against Ronald Reagan. (Snip) If Biden repealed the tax law, millions of low and middle income workers would again be burdened by the ObamaCare individual mandate tax. A family of four earning the median income of $74,000 would see a $2,000

Comments:

Mondale was also touted as 'most electable' back in 1984. In case you forgot, he won 1 state (narrowly).

It is my sincere belief that had Bite Me run in 2016, he would have beaten Trump, as he could have capitalized on being Obama's third term, much like Bush was Reagan's third term. But that moment has passed, and in the convening two and a half years the political landscape has shifted so dramatically that he is now totally out of step with the modern Demonrat Party. His current lead in the polls is based solely on name recognition and the vague concept of "electability." Even if he manages to hang on to win the Rat nomination, he won't win the General. While he won't lose as badly as Mondull did, Trump will still run rings around him.

The people who cheer tax increases are those who don't pay them. Almost 50% if I recall. Democrats need more unskilled, dependent migrants to help their voter base.

Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden have one thing in common. When Donald Trump was campaigning for the Presidency, he had no record of any accomplishment as an elected office holder. The same can be said of Joe Biden.

No. Mondull won his party's nomination. Biden will not get more than 1% of the primary vote.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Sen. Elizabeth Warren said at an MSNBC town hall on Wednesday night that Joe Biden is wrong for supporting a ban on federal funding for abortion and that President Donald Trump "would be carried out in handcuffs" if he were anybody else. The Massachusetts Democrat and presidential candidate took on the former vice president and 2020 frontrunner for his longstanding support for the Hyde Amendment, which bars taxpayer-funded healthcare programs like Medicaid from paying for abortions. "Yes," Warren responded when MSNBC’s "All In" host Chris Hayes asked if Biden was wrong. Biden's campaign told NBC News

CONCORD, NH - Joe Biden had fun on his second campaign trip to New Hampshire. The same could not be said for his campaign staff, nervously watching from the sidelines. (Snip) Sometimes it meant telling a story that was not quite right, despite aides’ reminder that, no, that’s not entirely accurate. Other times it was citing statistics that he acknowledged might be wrong. (“Don’t hold me to that” was a favorite refrain.) And at still other times it seemed he hadn’t quite learned the lessons from a pre-campaign conversation about his frequent invasions of women’s personal space. Biden was clearly

"It very well may come to a formal impeachment inquiry," Democratic Representative Jerrold Nadler told CNN in an interview. "There does not appear to be support for it now. And we will see. The support may develop."

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — June is Pride month, which means you may be seeing a lot of those iconic rainbow flags, depending on where you live. You might also see other flags flying next to them, meant to include the diversity of the LGBTQ community — here's what they all mean. The iconic six-striped rainbow flag was created by artist and veteran Gilbert Baker in 1978 at the request of activist Harvey Milk, according to Baker's website. Baker's original flag included eight colored stripes, each with a different meaning: pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for

CNN anchor John King blasted former Vice President Joe Biden today after his campaign was called out for lifting full quotes on climate policy without any attribution. A plagiarism scandal infamously helped tank Biden’s 1988 presidential campaign. A spokesperson for his 2020 campaign said they updated their proposal with “the proper citations.” King said this is a “pretty amateur mistake for the frontrunner’s campaign to make,” especially considering this is in Biden’s past. “When this has been an issue in the past, how? How?” he asked. “This is a staff issue. I’m sure the former vice president had nothing to

Presidential candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden is facing claims that his campaign plagiarized at least five parts of the climate platform released on Tuesday. The apparent similarities were first flagged on Twitter by a progressive activist. By Tuesday afternoon, most of the examples in the Biden campaign platform had been updated online to include attribution to a third party. “The paragraph in Joe Biden’s climate plan about carbon capture and sequestration includes language that is remarkably similar to items published previously by the Blue Green Alliance and the Carbon Capture Coalition,” Josh Nelson, the vice president of CREDOmobile

Let’s be clear about a few things regarding “carbon taxes”. First, the system of taxing carbon emissions, also known as “cap-n-trade”, has absolutely nothing to do with climate change. Second a “carbon tax” is the holy grail for the totalitarian globalist world view. The concept of a tax on carbon emissions was developed inside the same financial network of multinational monetary interests that control the current global trade system. Powerful financial interests directly connected to The World Bank (WB), International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Trade Organization (WTO), together with global banking interests connected to Wall Street and

His point basically was (without rehashing the whole thing) that every bit of everything we know or think we know--every news item, every little bit of information that fed this narrative the past two years or three now, that Trump colluded with Russia--came not from American intelligence, not from British intelligence. It didn’t come from FBI intelligence.
