How I Knew Trump Would Win
in 2016 and Will Win Again

Original Article

I recall the early part of 2016, when Donald Trump began to win several presidential primaries. Suddenly, everyone was asking “Who is this? What is he? A New York businessman?! A real estate developer?! A casino owner?!” Also: “What is he politically? A moderate Republican? A liberal Democrat? A conservative?” As a supposed political scientist, people began asking me questions about him. I had no answers. In February 2016, when we had one of those blessed snow days frequent in these Virginia mountains, I found myself with a day at home and, surprisingly, caught up on my work. So I knew it was time to do some research on Trump.

Excellent article. Personally, I didn't support DJT at first simply because I knew so little about him or his persuasions. If I could have read something like this in 2015, I may have had a much different opinion. Information is king.

Good article. On a shallower level at which I operate, the outcome became clear to me in late-summer of 2016 as Trump was drawing overflow crowds of five figures everywhere he went while PIAPS couldn't break a few hundred. 2020 has already started, with Trump drawing even bigger crowds while the Amtrak rider from Delaware is taking some time off.

I watched the debates and Trump knocked off his opponents one by one...the crowning moment was when he stood on stage next to PIAPS and denigrated her husband on national TV. No one but DJT had the hutzpah to do that to the Clintons! That was a sign that he would do anything to protect the American people.

I never watched any of the debates, just waited for the video highlights. I watched my first Trump rally in February of 2016 and he had me after five minutes. By the end of the rally I knew he was going to win. I had always felt that for every Tea Party patriot there were hundreds/thousands of like-minded Americans waiting for a champion to lead us into battle for our Republic. I finally saw them at Trump rallies. Donald J. Trump will be second only to George Washington in our history. The latter birthed our Republic from strife and with blood, the former will restore that Republic from strife and pray without bloodshed. MAGA - One Nation Under God

Three months after announcing his diagnosis of stage four pancreatic cancer, Jeopardy host Alex Trebek told PEOPLE about a “mind-boggling” update: He’s “near remission,” according to his doctors. “It’s kind of mind-boggling,” the beloved host told the magazine. “The doctors said they hadn’t seen this kind of positive result in their memory ... some of the tumors have already shrunk by more than 50 percent,” he said. The 78-year-old will “still have to go through several more rounds of chemotherapy to hopefully get into full remission, but he’s elated at how far he’s come,” according to PEOPLE.

A new poll has shown that President Donald Trump’s visit to the UK is welcomed by a plurality of voters with more thinking the visit should go ahead than those opposed. The poll by YouGov asked, “should (the visit) go ahead of be cancelled?” with 46 per cent of respondents saying that the visit should go ahead while 40 per cent saying it should be called off. These results echo a similar poll, also conducted by YouGov last year, in which 50 per cent backed President Trump’s summer 2018 visit. President Trump is due to arrive in the UK on June 3rd, with the trip lasting until the 5th.

The Democratic National Committee is upping the ante for its second round of presidential primary debates, doubling the polling and grass-roots fundraising requirements from its initial summer debates. The parameters, announced Wednesday, are likely to help cull a crop of 24 candidates and, in the process, intensify scrutiny on Democratic Chairman Tom Perez and his pledge to give all candidates a chance to be heard. The DNC's outline for its September debate — the third of at least a dozen promised matchups during the 2020 nominating contest — decrees that candidates can participate only by reaching 2% in four

Jim Acosta is the worst “reporter” in the history of network news. I say that not as a conservative, but as someone who believes in “news.”The title of Jim’s upcoming book says it all: Enemy of the People: A Dangerous Time to Tell the Truth in America. That reveals he has no understanding of what a reporter is. Dear Jim, A reporter is someone who, to the exclusion of all other statements, solely communicates objective facts with which the entire potential audience can agree. If you’re saying things that people are fighting over, you’re not “reporting.” You’re proselytizing. That makes you a pundit, not a reporter.

In today's concurring opinion in Box v. Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky, Justice Clarence Thomas dared speak the truth about the abortion industry in an area of law and policy infested with euphemisms, deception, and distortion. That "the Constitution itself is silent on abortion," for example, is a most obvious observation that anyone old enough to read can confirm. But to write it plainly in a Supreme Court opinion, as he did, is nothing short of an act of courage in today's day and age, when the darkness of abortion has such a firm grip on our political, legal, and cultural environments.

It is tempting for normal people to ignore our president when he starts ranting about treason and corruption at the FBI. I understand the temptation. I’m the object of many of his rants, and even I try to ignore him. But we shouldn’t, because millions of good people believe what a president of the United States says. In normal times, that’s healthy. But not now, when the president is a liar who doesn’t care what damage he does to vital institutions. The New York Times has made waves with a new report on sightings by U.S. Navy aviators of unidentified flying objects between 2014 and 2015. But the UFO issue, which follows a similar 2017 story, is far more interesting than the reporters let on. The U.S. government does not know what these UFOs actually are. The report focuses on witnesses of so-called "Tic Tacs," but other shapes and sizes of UFOs have also been credibly recorded by the U.S., British, Chinese, Russian, and other governments for the past 65 years. But what are these strange things? Most informed individuals I have talked to believe that the Tic Tac-like UFOs are unmanned vehicles
