Chesapeake—One man died and nine others were injured when gunfire erupted at a block party Saturday in the Holly Cove neighborhood, making it one of the city's most violent incidents in the past several years. Nearly 24 hours later, police still have not identified any suspects or revealed what led to the shooting near the Portsmouth border. None of the nine other gunshot victims face life-threatening injuries, though the situation remained fluid on Sunday, police spokesman Leo Kosinski said.(Snip) "I am shocked," Mayor Rick West said when he learned of the shooting. Transforming the Old Dominion into the New Dominion was not enough to stem black violence. Could it be because Gov. Coonman refused to step down?

Video link would not work for me so I tried to find it on YouTube. That is becoming increasingly a futile exercise. The censorship clamp tightens every day, these people are bound and determined to create the "reality" of their liberal fantasies and bad behavior by protected classes is NOT on the agenda.

A Manhattan straphanger who claimed to have been attacked by two men yelling gay slurs was actually the one doing the attacking, according to police. Cops say the 25-year-old, who has not been identified, set upon the two men at the Chambers St. station in Tribeca while on an uptown A train. They had gotten into a verbal altercation before things got physical, the young man originally alleged. Police interviewed multiple people, however, who witnessed the incident and said the straphanger was the aggressor. Video obtained by police allegedly shows him spitting at subway riders when the suspects

“The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” is in hot water over an outfit choice made by a guest performer. British musician Morrissey appeared on the NBC late-night talk show to perform—and he took the stage wearing a far-right pin on his lapel. The pin featured the logo of the anti-Islam For Britain political party. Morrissey, once the frontman of The Smiths, has openly supported the party since 2018. “I have been following a new party called For Britain which is led by Anne Marie Waters. Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines is worth $37billion (£28billion) and flies to 370 destinations on six continents with state-of-the-art aircraft. Truly, it’s a titan of aviation. But it started life as a crop-dusting outfit in 1924. And when it expanded to passenger transportation it used planes that could only hit 90mph, with the wind behind them. Delta has been on quite a journey, then—and these fascinating pictures illustrate the carrier’s dramatic transformation over the decades. They show some of its earliest passenger planes, a restored 1931 model with five passenger seats, a 1940 Douglas DC-3,

Mr. Sanders said his agents are now spending more time changing diapers, driving migrants and providing medical care for families and children than they are spending out in the field on patrol. The marriages were short and not for love. But instead of a Las Vegas-style, alcohol-fueled ceremony, these marriages were criminal schemes. Authorities announced Monday that nearly 100 people have been indicted in a massive conspiracy in which immigrants paid as much as $70,000 to briefly marry a U.S. citizen and obtain a permanent resident card known as a “Green Card.” The indictment, returned by a grand jury in Texas late last month, accuses 96 people of taking part in the Houston-based criminal organization, which created sham marriages between legal U.S. residents and aliens, mostly from Vietnam, for years.

Gay representation has certainly come a long way from Patrick Stewart and Steven Weber in the classic 1995 gay film, “Jeffrey.” That same year, Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo, and Wesley Snipes shocked audiences with their hilarious and stunningly relatable performances as urban drag queens taking a long road trip across middle America in “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar.” And of course, who could forget Robin William’s heartfelt comedy performance in “The Birdcage”the following year?
