CNN laid off almost all of its health care coverage division Tuesday, in a move the network called a “crazy rumor” less than three weeks ago. While Dr. Sanjay Gupta is expected to keep his job, most of the rest of the division, based out of Atlanta, were released. Fox News reported: TVNewser, a media watchdog site started by CNN’s Brian Stelter, managed to get confirmation from the network — just in time for a Friday news dump. “As part of the normal course of business, our newsgathering team made a small restructure earlier this week that ultimately impacts 6-7 employees within CNN’s Health Unit,”

Well, Obamacare solved all the health care problems anyway.

So they close down the health care coverage unit; actually, the whole network is sick. Wouldn't mind if this particular patient didn't survive.

Any major CNN executives laid off? You know, the geniuses that managed to thrust CNN below "Food Network- Cuisine of South Jersey" and reruns of "My Mother the Car" in the cable rankings.

All they are using these days, judging from reports since I haven't watched in over a decade,
is the 'hysterical Trump screamers' division. So, sure, stop wasting money on all those
people who actually know something about a topic and do news reports.
CNN doesn't do news at all any more, just anti-Trump hysteria.

Just like a snake. Parts of the body are being cut off but the head will be the last to die. Nobody deserves it more than CNN. Well, maybe the New York Times and the Bezos WaPo.

If it wasn't for the political correctness CNN wouldn't be watched anywhere but in one's home. When I'm at the airport, I move so I don't have to watch or listen to their BS.

To those laid off at CNN yesterday, do not be disheartened. Recall the immortal words of Naggy Pelosi - unemployment stimulates the economy.

Criminally Not News lied? Go figure.
What does the FCC do anyway? Surely anyone with an IQ over 80 would REMOVE this propaganda 'network' from destroying brain cells, if the power to do so were given.

CNN is going to miss a grand opportunity. Now that Zerocare is on the way out and new health care policies are being developed, they could have told hundreds of lies about how women, transwhatevers and children are suffering and dying because Zerocare was critical for them. It would be like nobody ever had healthcare before 2012 and they never will again.

2nd post apologies, but, #20, read between the lines. Gupta will not have staffers writing stories for him. He is halfway out the door without support.

Somebody once said something about cutting off your nose to spite your face. How about cutting off your head to spite those of us who still have one? CNN you paid the price so far, but you're not done yet.

Seems to me stores and restaurants that sell items that people want for a reasonable price do well.
Stores that sell junk or things that people don't need or are too expensive fold up. Common sense.
Goodbye CNN. You're trying to sell and push information that people don't want, need or feel that is being forced on us. No common sense. We aren't as stupid as you think we are.
