House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday urged members of the Trump family, White House staff, and administration officials to stage an “intervention” for President Trump, after claiming again that he had a “temper tantrum" a day earlier. (Snip) “The president stormed out, pounded the table, walked out the door,” Pelosi told reporters. “Another temper tantrum, again, I pray for the president of the United States. I wish that his family, the administration, and his staff would have an intervention for the good of the country."

The leftards seem to be scared schiffless. I hope to volunteer for the many, many firing squads that would be needed after their fair 5 min trials for treason and sedition. Remember, a couple farmers were hanged, IIRC, during the 'Whiskey rebellion'. This was many times worse. We the people should take care of the business our ancestors failed to do, saddling us with the "cleanup on aisle 'communist'", rather than asking our active-duty military members to do it..

Boy if there's ever been anybody who need intervention its Pelosi and the Democrats. I have to wonder who she's been praying to since her actions are far from that of any Christian I know. The Democrats spend three years lying and trying to undo a legal president of the United States, and they wonder why he has not respect for them, they make accusations without basis of fact and expect him to be kissy kissy and make nice. I don't know about you but when somebody lies about me I don't respect them, I have contempt for them and dislike maybe even anger and disgust for them. I like a president who doesn't play the DC games.

This case has a little taint of that in it, but it is still in a courtroom, and the legal sense of good and evil and the cultural determination of such opposites, operate in different galaxies.

White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif, had a terse exchange after a meeting between President Trump and Democratic lawmakers was cut short on Wednesday. Trump scrapped the meeting, which was slated as an opportunity to discuss the country's infrastructure, after Pelosi told reporters that the president "engaged in a cover-up" following a meeting with her caucus. After Trump left the room, Conway asked the Speaker if she had a "direct response to the president," Fox News confirmed. "I'm responding to the president, not staff," Pelosi shot back.

The Nevada Senate approved Tuesday a National Popular Vote bill on a party-line vote, sending the legislation aimed at upending the Electoral College to the governor. Assembly Bill 186, which passed the Senate on a 12-8 vote, would bring Nevada into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement between participating states to cast their electoral votes for the winner of the popular vote. If signed as expected by Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak, Nevada would become the 16th jurisdiction to join the compact, along with 14 states and the District of Columbia.

Barack Obama is literally more popular than Jesus among Democrats. Unfortunately, neither the former president nor any of the party’s 23 candidates currently seeking the 2020 nomination know quite what to do with that information. Of course, before any serious endorsement conversation can commence, Obama has to finish his book (between rounds of golf and raising millions for his foundation). The writing has been going more slowly than he’d expected, and according to several people who have spoken with him, the 44th president is feeling competitive with his wife, whose own book, Becoming, was the biggest release of 2018 and is on track to be the best-selling memoir in history.
