A Beto Reboot Is in the Works, As His Campaign Sags

Original Article

Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke is planning what one adviser called a “reintroduction” of his presidential campaign after failing to sustain the attention of Democratic voters on the national stage. O’Rouke, who climbed onto the top counter of the Democratic Party with his inspired (but unsuccessful) Senate run last year, has seen his poll numbers plummet in recent weeks. A South Carolina poll published Sunday showed a seven-point drop from a month ago, with O’Rourke now tied with entrepreneur Andrew Yang at just two percent. Overall, Beto is doing terribly in just about every metric

There are many factors helping to explain Robert Francis O´Rourke´s disappearing presidential campaign. But, it is my opinion a fatal blow was struck when even the media began to notice his jumping up on food service surfaces in his street shoes. I imagine O´Rourke has stood in a few men´s rooms during campaign stops and walked on dirty sidewalks and parking lots. No one wants to have lunch where those feet have trod.

Small thing, but I think it turned out to be important.

Look, the whole point of getting Sleepy Joe to jump in (hobble in?) was to suck the air out of the room all these tiny, insignificant Democratic Party Wannabees are in. Biden was supposed to gently steer the Democrat base back toward the center where the moderate voters live; those haughty, much sought after, "undecided" 7% people - No one wins a national election without them. The Democratic Party Clown Car is spinning around in the "crazy Arena´ and Biden was meant to shoo them off the stage for his much more serious "Settle down! Pretend to be normal!" act...then he was supposed to step out ("Oh, my health! Oh, My family!")and let the Party Babe (who they have already chosen!) carry the torch from there to the finsih line.

Beto is merely whining about him being made irrelevant by that "To the center" Rat strategy. But, Bernie is a huge bit of oxygen to these nuts...

"If Bernie...then why not me? I´m every bit as Socialist and America hating as he is! (whine)!".

And so this drama that continues to alarm the American voters who are actually starting to wake up to what the Hell the Rats are trying to do to them- with no lube!

Paris climate treaty

Here we are in the midst of a once-in-a-half-century pandemic, with the economy flattened, millions of people unemployed, and unrest on the streets of our cities. And President-elect Joe Biden says that one of his highest priorities as president will be to reenter the Paris climate accord. President Trump kept his "put America first" promise and pulled the United States out of this Obama-era treaty. Biden wants us back in. Why? Paris is an unmitigated failure. You don't have to take my word for it. National Geographic, a supporter of climate change action, recently ran the numbers and admitted in its recent headline: "Most countries aren't hitting 2030 climate goals."

Teachers unions have been instrumental in keeping American schools online during the pandemic. But some have escalated their positions on reopening to include an array of social justice demands. A set of demands from teachers unions in July, which addressed how to safely reopen schools amid a pandemic, was criticized by The Wall Street Journal editorial board as “political extortion.” The board argued that unions were taking advantage of a health crisis to advance their own ideological agendas and to eliminate competition from charter schools.

Why do we do this to ourselves every four years? We talk incessantly about the latest poll in Florida and Michigan and Pennsylvania and Arizona until we are blue in the face. Then they turn out to be wildly wrong. When will we ever learn? It reminds me of that old saying which I think was from Einstein, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” Polling, at least the old-school style, is over. Done. I don’t need to go through a long list of reasons why nobody should take pollsters seriously anymore, but a few data points are instructive.

President Trump granted a pardon to Michael Flynn, his former national-security adviser, today. Flynn had pled guilty to lying to FBI agents about conversations, during the 2016 transition, with the Russian ambassador about sanctions. Flynn’s pardon should bring to an end one gross violation of the Constitution’s separation of powers, even as it gives rise to groundless accusations of another. Although Flynn had pled guilty, the circumstances of the case had raised serious concerns about whether the government had proceeded properly. The FBI, for example, questioned Flynn even though it did not appear he had violated any law. In May, Attorney General William Barr ordered the case dropped.

Minnesota is one of a number of states that are living under what amounts to martial law. Our proto-fascist dictator Tim Walz, in his latest edict, purports to ban traditional Thanksgiving get-togethers: Saturday, Nov. 21 through Friday, Dec. 18, Executive Order 20-99 requires all Minnesotans to: * Limit social gatherings to one household. * Not gather outside of your household. * Postpone all celebrations, events, receptions, and parties, including any social gatherings for weddings and funerals. So it is “illegal” for me to invite any of my four kids to Thanksgiving dinner.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday night blocked New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo from reimposing strict attendance caps at worship services in areas hit hard by the novel coronavirus. The court ruled 5-4 to bar Cuomo from enforcing his Oct. 6 “Cluster Initiative” against houses of worship that sued to challenge the restrictions. The order was also the first in which Justice Amy Coney Barrett played a decisive role. Barrett, who was President Trump's third Supreme Court nominee, joined the court Oct. 27, after winning Senate confirmation following the Sept. 18 death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Are furbished product is seldom as desirable as a brand-new one. Joe Biden must be assuming Americans can’t tell the difference. Even as President Trump battles uphill to overturn the results of the recent presidential election, faces familiar during the earlier Age of Obama are reappearing in President-elect-apparent Biden’s pantheon of power. The looming Biden era promises to be Obama 3.0 — Hillary Clinton in 2016 was to be Obama 2.0, but new models don’t always live up to the original (see Windows Vista). I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.
