As a case study in American political tribalism in the age of President Trump, a Los Angeles writer wore a MAGA hat to an ultra-liberal vegan restaurant in the city to see what sort of adventures would unfold. Quite shockingly, people actually proved his thesis wrong. The article by Joel Stein in Los Angeles Magazine confronts the fact that Americans hate each other in the age of President Trump, a fever he himself admits to having been inflicted with at times.

FTA:
He admits that his research has led him to see some Trump supporters in a different light, such as when he visited Miami, Texas, only to find out that the people there were so nice that they "fed me in their homes or paid the server before our check arrived."
"I worry that my side isn’t as friendly," Stein admits. "We’ve harassed politicians out of restaurants, chanted threats outside a Fox News anchor’s home, and gone off on me for asking other parents if putting on a play about Native Americans despite the fact that there are no Native Americans in our school is really that evil.”

I´m taking his "findings" with a healthy grain of salt. It seems he was known by at least some in the vegan place and he was perhaps trying to counter the idea that his tribe are who we all know them to be, rabid haters.

Well Mr. Bois, if you´re confused at which party is most ´evil´, take a little quiz...
Which party started a war to keep human beings enslaved?
Which party murdered the first Republican President who won that war and freed those human beings from slavery?
Which party formed the KKK as a terrorist arm to lynch Black Men?
Which party made up and then enforced the ´jim crow´ laws?
Which party voted for the Civil Rights Act and which party voted against it?
Which party embraces abortion so heartily almost making it a sacrament?
Which party has now come down on killing babies that have already been born?
Now, you tell me which party is evil.

Stein is a total creep!

The far right has become so normalized that no one said anything to a guy in a MAGA hat at Café Gratitude," Stein concludes. "I Am Not Sure How Great That Is."
BTW to be clear this article is about Stein. He is not the author.

I won´t spend an arm and a leg for the priviledge of eating in a vegan restaurant. Same for Starbucks, but they aren´t vegan.

Well he managed to hit a window of time when no Soros-paid protesters or mentally deranged liberals happened to be present.

It´s why I call them the Enemedia. He thinks it is more ethical to send money to Communist China than to a US company selling a MAGA hat.
I´m sure he did something terrible to the hat after the experiment.
What a jerk.

Joel, think this through. You were one for one in invoking some level of hate expression. You know this part: "Is that guy wearing a f***ing MAGA hat?"
Just because you didn´t get the daylights beaten out of you doesn´t mean that the left isn´t far more inclined toward open expressions of hate directed toward the not so left.
And you think your knock-off Chinese hat proves a normalization of the "far Right?" What part of making America great again is far right? What is the far right do you have a definition?
I suspect, based on your conclusions, is that anybody who disagrees with you is far right.
You have accidentally told a great deal about yourself, your hatred and extreme prejudice.

I wear mine all the time and all I have ever experienced are smiles and people coming up to me and saying, "Right On! Brother." I always tell them, We all need to be wearing our MAGA hats. It is no time to be afraid.

This is very telling; Stein writes. ´´The hate is so strong in me that I thought it was more ethical to support the Chinese government than Trump.´´
It cannot get plainer than that!

Here´s another question the demosluts can answer #3. Which party´s policies in general are the most anti-American or would do America the most harm?

So Mr. Stein, you hate stared an older man who you thought was wearing a MAGA hat. Would you have done the same if that man had been 6´2", buff and 40 years old? You sir, are a punk.

I wore my hat tonight to dinner, and the gun shop before. No problems. I never have had a negative comment, only positive ones.

FTA: "fever he himself admits to having been inflicted with at times."
"Inflicted with" a fever?
The writer´s enthusiasm for grammatical errors is inflectious.

Rabid liberal reporter Stein wore his $8 knockoff MAGA hat to a rabidly lib vegan restaurant to see the reaction. The article tells what happened. Stein had previously “hate-stared” an elderly man in Griffith Park, who was wearing a red cap which turned out to be from USC .
Anyone wondering just how crazed these Resistance #NeverTrumpers are should read this. And this is a media guy, producing and feeding great pots full of his own bile to the public.
