Following months of angry claims by journalists and Democratic operatives that the Obama administration never spied on Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, The New York Times admitted Thursday that multiple overseas intelligence assets were deployed against associates of the Republican nominee. It is not the first time the Times has revealed widespread spying operations against the campaign. In addition to noting that long-time informant Stefan Halper was tasked with collecting intelligence on the Trump campaign, the Times story details how a woman was sent overseas under a fake name and occupation to oversee the spy operation. The woman’s real name

It should be fun to watch the Media throw Obozo himself under the bus in order to save their own skins.

Will Lightworker get off the hook? Will president Trump pardon him like Ford pardoned Nixon? Will his button-lipped underlings turn and start singing about high crimes and misdemeanors? Will his actual physical birth certificate ever be revealed to the public? His college transcripts? Will the Enemedia´s efforts to cover-up Lightworker´s aid and comfort to the Iranian terrorist regime ever be prosecuted? How will Hillary Clinton rationalize the obvious illegality of Lightworker´s participation in The Coup?
So many questions floating around out there...

Excellent article. Next Big Lie to be leaked to the NYT and WaPo would have to be the “predicate”, or the reason why the FBi, CIA, DoJ, NSA and State agreed to spy on Trump’s campaign. And, why this spying continued at least 6 month into his presidency?
Actual reason for this spying was surely Obama’s instruction to Lynch, Comey, Brennan and Clapper to help Hillary by any means necessary. See Hillary private server “investigation” for another example of illegally helping her. But the obvious reason cannot be disclosed, so expect stories from the loathsome NYT that the UK or Australia had warned CIA about a Russian spy within Trump campaign. Will be a lie but the previous lie about collusion lasted 3 years. 2020 is only 18 months away.

It wasn´t just spying. They used paid, non-American informants for entrapment of Trump´s unsuspecting associates. And to make it even more diabolical, they then used the mere fact of the forced contact as justification for continued surveillance of Trump in their fraudulent FISA warrants. Talk about Machiavellian and just plain evil.
This makes Watergate look like child´s play by comparison. They used that to justify removing a President. This one should have even more due consequences for another President... Obama.
I suggest Gitmo, where he can join his fellow Muslims in prayer and once again hear what I think is the sweetest sound in the world... No, not the call to prayer, but the sound of jail doors closing on anti-American traitors.

Why should we be surprised? Aside from a violent overthrow of an established government this is the way Marxists use "soft" coups to impose a totalitarian regime. We were lucky - this time.
As the election was an odds on certainty everything was a bit slapdash. Where it all came unstuck is that the pantsuited thug was too confident and incompetent to carry out her part of the bargain. Even so: "..It has been ..... the nearest run thing you ever saw in your life." (Wellington after Waterloo.)
Rest assured the "Sorosites" are busy on their plans of manipulation for the next election and, if they fail again, they will revert to their default position. Violence.
The solution: these traitors must be rooted out and pay such a heavy price that they crawl back under the rocks where they came from.

Excuse 2nd post. Will the 3 FBI agents described in article be allowed to testify about who ordered them to do so? Will be a test of whether Director Wray believes in his oath of office or serves to as a protector of the Bureau. I’ll go with protector, with the 3 agents suddenly transferred to Iraq or Azerbaijan to avoid testifying. Or, Wray will tell us that the 3 agents signed non disclosure agreements just as Obama had the CIA survivors of Benghazi sign after the ISIS attack on our consulate.

No, I don´t agree wit the reason why the NYT published the story "to get ahead of what congressional investigators had figured out." The facts about this coup have been known for over two years and EVERY Marxist propagandist, especially the NYT has done nothing but double down on propaganda, period.
No. This admission, this teeny scoonch of facts, data, and truth oozing out of the NYT ONCE and the timing of it has everything to do with the civil law suit against everyone in the deep state, including the NYT, et al. To me the fact that the NYT printed a CYA means that Carter Page just might be its new owner if he wins his now slam dunk civil law suit. They fear loss of power and money, NOT credibility because they´ve never had that and they know it.

There´s so much in the article but the thought of the seditious rats still working within the circle of the President is un-nerving to me.
Identify and fired them then bring on investigations or this will continue into 2020.
I don´t care if it identifies Obama, which it will, I just want him to run into the tall weeds and never be seen again. Time will take care of his Marxist seditious self.

This means that the FBI still has people at the top who are still spinning and leaking to cover their illegal actions and the person at the top either has no control or is complicit.

Good reporting. Now we have some more names to add to our "These guys need to be in prison" list.
Evil, traitorous people, still inside the FBI, lots of them.
The good news is now they are running scared. There is a strong smell of fear in the air in DC, they sense the walls closing in on their criminal, traitorous coup attempt.

Well in the lexicon of the Left´s mind they were correct. They didn´t spy. They conducted surveillance on the subject. That is why they fell apart when Barr used the word SPY in his testimony of last week.
One term means that they have authorization, the other term means they are committing an illegal act. Guess which one the Left would prefer the public believe? Given all the information the NYT has been sitting on for years now, I think they know the jig is just about up.
They are going to try and extricate themselves out of the spot they are in, for the headlines when Barr and Trump get rolling are going to be writing themselves. They want to be able to print those without the nation laughing their fannies off.

NYT admits the Obama admin deployed multiple spies against the Trump campaign. Ms. Hemingway asks “Why leak this now?” and then explains it as an attempt to get in front of the forthcoming IG report. I suggest the reason for the leak goes well beyond that.
They didn’t just spy on Papadopoulos. They FIRST tried to plant phony incriminating evidence with Papa in the form of foreknowledge, sourced to Russia, of the email releases. THEN they ran spies at him to try to retrieve the planted phony information. Ponder that a minute. Let that sink in.
They tried to frame an advisor to the opposing presidential candidate by planting on him a phony Russia connection that they fabricated and then sent operatives to “discover.” Papa isn’t some foreign drug lord. He was an innocent American citizen participating in the political process as a policy advisor.
It is ever so much worse than just spying. The spying is only a little piece of it. This NYT article is a diversion, a misdirection, a desperate attempt to get everyone to focus on just the spying, NOT the attempted frame-up that was the reason for it. And why did they try to frame Papa? To use it to get a two-hop FISA warrant on Papa and turn him into a walking microphone in the Trump campaign. If I was guilty of that I’d want everyone focused on the spying too.

Trump designated the activities of our Intelligence Community as Spygate. And it was. Senator Shaheen turned a shade of green when Barr declared spying took place, only its predicate in doubt. Will FBI Director punish his rogue G-men for leaking the names of three agents? Director Wray is totally useless and his FBI should be disbanded. Assistant FBI Director Mark Feldt(sp?) brought down President Nixon with his Deep Throat leaks. Comey also leaked to get a Special Counsel and is now writing books and editorials. So leaking by the FBI is now fine?
As for the Papadopoulos part of Spygate, it will now get wider attention with the acknowledgement of Azra Turk, the seductress Honey Pot paid by my taxes through the CIA or FBI payroll. If the G-men can even pay for drinks and women their budgets might be excessive.

Agree that there is more to this NY Slimes admission than meets the eye. Namely, they are trying to send a message that they had nothing to do with it and a warning to those that did that they can´t expect the Slimes to cover for them anymore.
The Left wing media whores need to have plausible deniability. The truth is, there are reporters who are in this up to their necks --- and not just at the Times! It also means the Times can be held liable in a lawsuit for defamation that is surly coming from several people. The Slimes is trying to look innocent despite blood all over their workplace.
Barr has probably already found out that the leaks were two way --- FBI personnel cooperated with reporters and they helped them back with phony stories. Barr also knows by now --- and is no doubt sickened by --- the fact that congressional staff helped as well if not their elected bosses too! Yup. It goes that deep.
Wyatt Earp (the new sheriff in Town) just sent a very scary warning to everyone who played fast-and-loose with the truth and abused their power. The wheels grind slowly but they grind!
BTW --- "Azra" means "helper". Turkish helper, huh?

Odumbo is the media´s baby Jesus, they will fall on their own swords before they would throw him under the bus. Remember, all of the things that they accuse Trump of doing to the media, Hussein already did but at that time, the media treated him like that kid in the Twilight Zone that could think of anything and it would happen: "It´s good that Obama is spying on the media, we need it."

This is so very much, "Obama" who would spy against opponents in Chicago, and Illinois, or get sealed court documents opened illegally then use the contents against his opponents in the campaign. In fact, this has now become standard strategy for Demoniac candidates.
So why WOULDN´T the most corrupt and compromised political person in the history of the United States turn the entire spy apparatus of government against his. and their political opponents? After all, to Demonrats, conservative Republicans are more a thing to be feared than the Communists in Cuba or Venezuela, so Why stop at merely using the IRS and DOJ against them?
I´d say former CIA Director John Brennan had better be take a break from trolling the leftist media circus and start finding a "safe house" in Bulgaria, or Latvia where the authorities will allow him to hide, away from U.S. legal authorities.
Next time Demonrats get the chance, they´ll authorize use of the U.S. military against the conservative Republicans.

The New York Times coverup in the collusion nonsense was well known from the beginning. Multiple democrats used them to leak information damaging to Trump. They had the resources to cross-check all of it.
The REALLY REALLY big news here is that senior level FBI field agents were part of an obviously illegal, unconstitutional and partisan plot. So much for "the management may be corrupt but the rank and file are stand-up guys." Can the sugar coating, Hannity. Pure BS, if you know that one is capable of crimes then ALL are capable. Time to disband and reorganize the FBI.
Obama is more guilty if that is possible. It was his on his watch, his party, and even though he found the POTUS card in a Cracker Jacks box, is guilty of treason and misuse of the CIA and the Justice Department. Shame on him. Hillary would rat him out in a minute and so would many others who thought it would be cool to have a black POTUS with no background and no abilities.
