At a hearing on Russian interference in the 2016 election held today by the Senate Judiciary Committee, Democratic Senator Mazie Hirono (Hawaii) spent nearly all of her allotted time not asking questions of the witness, Attorney General William Barr, but berating him as a flunkie for President Trump and repeatedly accusing him of lying to Congress. "You lied to Congress," claimed Hirono. "You told Rep. Charlie Crist [D-Fla.] that you didn´t know what objections Mueller´s team might have to your March 24th so-called summary. You told Sen. Chris Van Hollen [D-Md.] that you didn´t know if Bob Mueller supported your conclusions,

Let me just say that Hirono did not write that statement. She´s too stupid to write a screed like thst on her own.

More stupid, from an overachiever in that category; Maize Daze D-Stupidville.

Mazie had more fire in her belly against Barr than she did for Kavanaugh...
So much preening for media sound bites from the demonrats yesterday, you would think SHE is running for President!

Hirono is a joke, a dunce. The one who is dangerous and is being ignored in all of this is Kamala Harris. She did the same thing yesterday with Barr that she did during the Kavanaugh hearings: she was arrogant beyond words, never let Barr answer (YES OR NO!) and generally behaved as if she was the keeper of all knowledge. But look at her platform, when she isn´t giggling about being half Jamaican re: pot: SHE will use executive privilege (even though she can´t) to do this or that AFTER GIVING CONGRESS A CHANCE to do it her way. And yet the Press takes her seriously.

When you think that there are only two Senators in each state and that they hold that position for six years, it really makes you wonder how the heck they got there. Though I do remember living in a state where the Governor at the time was previously a bartender. Maybe not just before he became Governor, but close enough.

A question for our more “connected” community: Do the democrats draw straws for who is going to play feral pit bull on any given day? Is there some sort of rotation system, as in “Mazie honey, you’re up at bat today”? Or, are they just all certifiably insane, and you never know which monster will break it’s chains and terrify the village, at any given moment? It seems more choreographed than random. I’m seriously asking.

Mazie, keep your arms spread wide. It makes it harder to throw a net over you.

I am going to go ahead with my version of George M. Cohan´s song, Mary. Unfortunately, you have to be a TCM viewer, and watched Jimmy Cagney playing the part of George M. Cohan, singing Mary´s a Grand Old Name. You can find it on you tube. And while you are on you tube, watch Jimmy dance down the stairs at the White House. It will astonish you. (Cagney was first in vaudeville as a singer/dancer, made the transition to the movies. He would be demonized today, though, for the scene in a movie where he pushed a grapefruit into the face of his girlfriend. The feminista nutcases would be
all over him.)
So, everybody sing!
My mother´s name was Mazie,
She frequently was blue,
Because her name was Mazie,
She called me Mazie too.
She wasn´t white or happy
But Pearl Harbor made her glad,
The leper colony made her free
But Americans and men made her sad.
For it is Mazie, Mazie,
crazy as a senator could be,
She seems to hate the guys and is terminally unwise,
Her hatred is there to see.
And it was Mazie, crazy, stinking up the Senate today.
And if there´s one thing true, she´s dumb as a shoe,
That´s one real crazy Mazie.
