EXCLUSIVE: ´This stings!´ How Obama saw Trump´s victory as a ´personal insult,´ watched the movie Dr. Strange to distract himself from election results and blamed Hillary for the loss because of her ´scripted, soulless campaign´

Barack Obama admitted ´this stings´ after the 2016 election result and spent the night watching the movie Dr Strange to try and distract himself, a new book claims. The former president went from being confident that Hillary Clinton would beat Donald Trump to seeing it as a ´personal insult´ that she lost. Obama could not believe the American people had ´turned on him´ for a man he had written off as a ´cartoon´.

Comments:

He´s right about one thing - Trump´s election was a direct repudiation of his legacy.

Yet again Obama refuses to acknowledge his own failures.

Why did he fail to do more to stop Russia from meddling in the 2016 US election?

Why did he fail to work to compromise with Congress on key issues rather than issue Executive Orders to go around Congress and the Constitution?

Etc. etc. etc.

Ever the narcissist, Obama cannot face the reality that America rejected him and his policies.

"Obama could not believe the American people had ´turned on him´ for a man he had written off as a ´cartoon´."

Just one of the numerous things BO was wrong about. It´s good that he took it as a personal insult; it was MEANT to be a rejection of BO and his failed and anti American policies.

BO says Hillary ran a "scripted, soulless campaign"? What did he expect from a spawn of the devil?

"She was the one who could not translate his strong record and healthy economy into a winning message."

Ah, the unbearable lightness of being that is BO. What strong record? What healthy economy? BO is a narcissist and thinks he is perfection incarnate. We know better. Hillary was a loser but BO saddled her with all his losses and once Trump fixed things it became apparent as to the CAUSE of those losses, BO himself.

BO has "reasonable" excuses as to why he did not confront Russia about election interference but the truth is, he was planning to dump the whole thing on Trump, just as he did. The problem is, Hillary wasn´t there to make sure the lie stuck. Now BO´s ugly butt is hanging out as being ineffective, yet again, against Russian interference and spying on Trump without justification.

With a little luck, soon BO will have his very own, personal slice of responsibility for a major scandal. That will be a well deserved recognition of one of the few things he actually DID accomplish while in office.

I´ll agree with Emperor Obama the First on this one.

Hillary ran a stupid, rotten, yes, scripted and soulless campaign. She worked every third or fourth day with a staged-photo op and press kept corralled (happily, by the way) far away.

She found a bunch of eggheads who thought they could win the Presidency on "metrics," or statistical ideas on who would vote for her Thighness. All the time, she had at her disposal, one of the best political strategists of the past half century (a moral reprobate, true, but give the devil -- or in this case Bill Clinton -- his due) at immediate call. But NOOOOOO, she had to listen to the metrics eggheads.

And lost an election she probably should have won -- lots of money, resources, fawning and easily manipulated press, ability to use the machinations of government (especially the judicial, investigational, and intelligence services) to her benefit. And if she had used the politcally strategic intelligence of her husband, she would have won.

To that "doofus" Trump.

It is one of the ironies of the trial of President Trump on a charge of incitement of insurrection that the remarks most likely to be studied by historians is the speech delivered after the verdict — not guilty — was brought in. It was after the Senate ordered the outcome be sent for safekeeping with the Secretary of State, and the court of impeachment was adjourned, that Senator Mitch McConnell unloaded. His speech is likely to go down as one of the most remarkable ever delivered in the Senate.

The Wyoming Republican Party voted overwhelmingly Saturday to censure U.S. Rep. Liz Cheney for voting to impeach President Donald Trump for his role in the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol. Only eight of the 74-member state GOP's central committee stood to oppose censure in a vote that didn't proceed to a formal count. The censure document accused Cheney of voting to impeach even though the U.S. House didn't offer Trump 'formal hearing or due process.'

The vaccine rollout is not going as planned. Since mid-December, the U.S. has distributed 21.4 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines; fewer than one-third have actually made it into people’s arms. The problems have been many and varied: holiday delays, scheduling scams, long lines in some places, and not enough demand in others. These initial kinks are getting worked out, but that alone will not get us back to normal anytime soon. The next phase of the vaccine campaign—reaching tens of millions of elderly people and essential workers, along with the rest of the community—will be even harder.

There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred.
