Hillary Clinton may not have been able to shatter the glass ceiling for millions of girls around the country, but she has been very successful in helping her own daughter break the bank. Chelsea Clinton, 39, took home just over $600,000 last year for her work as director on the boards of IAC and Expedia, according to records obtained by DailyMail.com. The IAC board met just six times in 2018, while some members of the Expedia board were only obligated to attend two meetings last year. Those two companies are both headed up by the family´s good friend Barry Diller, the billionaire businessman and longtime partner of

I wonder what Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman think of this. They paid hunderds of thousands of dollars to get their kids into schools they did not belong in, while HRC gets IAC to pay her daughter hunderds of thousands of dollars for a job she did not do! Hillary makes Lori and Felicity look like amateurs.

Every year, I always get the proxy ballots and such on our meager investments. I ALWAYS review the proxy statement, primarily to read about the folks that are being foisted on us as Directors.
In one case, I noticed three Clinton/Obama insiders were being nominated for this corporation (a major NY bank) and they would get something like $300K for their dedicated service plus stock options.
I regularly vote NO on those folks.
Just like, for several years, Richard Armitage, who was the leaker of the covert CIA model spy, Valerie Plame and her loud-mouthed "Ambassador" hubby while Scooter Libby was hung out to dry, was promoted by a Texas-based oil company as a Director. I voted NO every time.
Doesn´t do much, but I feel better!

It would be very interesting to know what, if any, government contracts these folks may have been awarded. It would be especially interesting, if the contracts were awarded through the state dept.

Quid pro quo. Hire my daughter and ...
This is the more advanced version of the college admission scandal. At some point, Chelsea will point to all the "jobs" she has held as "experience, just like her mother.

#8- It is worth it to proxy vote. Only 27% of all shareholders vote. This would be an interesting way to rally conservatives to take more control of these companies. I just voted NO on Susan Rice for Netflix yesterday and some other bad players they have. We can make a difference. People if you have stock, do your proxy voting. It will make you sick to see who all these big companies keep putting on their boards, but we could make a difference.

The whole family has relied on doing very little over a lifetime. Sure, they are rich and powerful with all their friends, but they will never be self-reliant. Those of us that are, know the deal. Frankly, I would rather be US!

$50K per meeting. Nice work if you can get it. I use the term "work" rather loosely -- about as loose as the morals of Chelsea´s parents.

I recall that her first job out of Cambridge was working for McKinsey & Company in NYC. I had several friends at that office and when I inquired about her, none of them had ever seen her around the office.
Later, she was touted as a "hedge fund manager," My brother is one and when I mentioned this to him, he laughed at the concept.
I believe that she was also paid around $600,000 for one of the major networks to be the "reporter" on six human interest pieces.
Good gig if you can get it.

@27 I think she has already had it. I get proxy statements but so far all the nominations have been unrecognizable to me so I just vote ok on all. My vote is just a phart in the wind anyway.

Now imagine how ticked the Jebster was when he had to give up his board seats to run for office. He makes Chels look like a piker.

This dung dolly who makes stupidity look like her standard uniform is qualified to do nothing but grift...but she learned from the best in the business. Her husband is out of work, she´s qualified to do nothing but make everyone fully aware from time to time of just how stupid she really is and her mummy and daddy see to it that she´s included in the same payout for grifters that keeps them in all their various hideouts where, when not drinking, they can think up another scam. This is unreal.
