As Democratic leaders tentatively took impeachment proceedings off the docket this week, the White House put payback on the front burner--calling for closer looks into everyone from the FBI officials who investigated the Russia case to allies of Hillary Clinton´s campaign who solicited foreign help during the 2016 presidential campaign. (Snip) On social media and in televised interviews, President Trump, his attorneys, his campaign and senior members of his administration have in the wake of the Robert Mueller report seemingly adopted a strategy of highlighting lesser-known episodes of alleged misconduct by Democrats and investigators, as Democrats pursue obstruction of justice

Only the MFM could characterize an obviously needed criminal investigation as "payback."

The first rule of coup d´etat is: if you plan to kill the King, be sure you kill the King.
Obviously the deep state coup plotters failed in rule no. 1

The coup plotters need to be in prison. Currently there are about two dozen that we know the names of, probably a good number more.

I suspect there was illegal spying (yes, spying) on just about everyone...Republicans, Democrats, foreign leaders, judges (including Chief Justices), celebrities, local and state politicians and last, but not least, journalists. It´s going to be enraging to the American people.

#7,yes, no doubt.
It is important for everyone to understand what has changed in today´s communications.
Decades back, it was necessary to go out to a phone company switch (a big item in a building) or actually out on a pole and connect intercept tap wires to a particular phone to collect a phone call. ALL other calls, on all other phones, were gone forever the instant that you finished speaking the words.
Today, 100% of ALL emails, and ALL phone conversation data is intercepted and recorded, every one, every minute of every hour of every day. ALL OF THEM. Stories are that the actual voice content is only retained by the phone companies, and the NSA only has which phone number talked to what phone, when and for how long. This might even be true, but maybe not, too.
In any case, once a judge gives a "wiretap search order", they can go back and get any old info, not just info going forward. ALL OF IT.
The NSA has it ALL. They have multiple giant warehouses filled with millions of hard drives storing this data. A 2 Terabyte hard drive today is about 3x5x1/2inch, more than two dozen fit in a shoebox size. How many in a half mile long warehouse with 20 ft ceilings?
They scoop it ALL up, a "wiretap" is just a search of the giant database. Massive fraud is proven by the FISA judge´s report.
Obama´s team was entirely corrupt, same for Hellary.

Nothing prevents the "newly honest" DOJ from assembling a task force to review Hillary, her campaign´s collusion with Russia, the bribes received via the Clinton Foundation that may heave been involved with the Uranium sellout...you name it. Perhaps recruit investigators and prosecutors from Republican state attorney general staffs...to avoid any conflicts of interest.

#9, the statute of limitations is rapidly running out on Hellary´s earliest criminal acts. Some of this had the exact purpose to delay things long enough for that to happen, I am sure.
