Mitt Romney Wants Everyone To Know His Opinion on Mueller Report…

If you left a bait bucket -wrapped in a plastic bag- sitting in the sun for three days, the results would be be appropriate for Mitt Romney’s latest brand of cologne. WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Former Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said on Friday he was “sickened” by the dishonesty of U.S. President Donald Trump and people around him as portrayed in a report on Russia’s attempts to influence the 2016 election. (more) Apparently Mitt Romney wants the world to know his opinion of the Mueller report:

Comments:

He is disappointed. Sick of this creep and his insipid beatific smile, intended to cover a very black heart. Now we see that we had no choice when it was Obie vs. Mitt. They’re both evil. That is really sad.

Narcissistic man. Jealousy of Trump makes him look petty. We were fortunate he was never elected president. I was fearful his cult like leanings would be promulgated as president. Many true believers stayed home on Election Day. Sorry to be so blunt on the eve of the most important day in the history of mankind.

There was absolutely no need for him to say anything. Have been losing respect for him the past few years. This one pushed me over the edge. How does saying this help anyone, solve any problem, get us back on track, how did it help Romney? When reports come down about all the slime behind this hideous hoax I hope he has some words to say about that.

Romney still wants to be president. He is setting himself up for the alternate Anti-Trump republican choice for the nomination in 2020. With out any qualms he would split the republican party and gladly hand the Presidency in 2020 to the communist democrat nominee. Romney is akin to the froth floating on the top of a sewage settlement tank at a wastewater treatment plant.

There is no cure for the "I want to be president" virus once it gets into a politician´s blood stream. Especially a politician like the slime ball, carpetbagging loser Romney who lost to an easily beatable Ex-Dictator Obama in 2012.

Romney for President in 2020!

I personally don´t think Romney has a chance. This is the man who ´collapsed´ on stage while debating Obama. (Of course with the help of one Ms. Candy Crowley). If he indeed goes up against the President, the two of them side by side, Mr. Trump´s genius replies aided by his over the top personality will win the day. Of course I should throw in his remarkable record as Commander in Chief.
Put all this together and Mr. Trump wins again 2020. MAGA!!

During Romney´s appalling run for the GOP nomination in 2012, this site was flooded with posters who attacked anyone who questioned Romney´s integrity, commitment to severe conservatism, and electability. Many used screen names that had only existed since primary season kicked off.

Watching his operatives manipulate this site was a much-needed education about how Mitt Romney operates. The second class in that curriculum was Romney´s viciously dishonest attacks on other Republicans. At one point, Romney affiliates accused Newt Gingrich of supporting funding for child murder in China. I will not repeat the slanders Romney´s allies directed at Karen Santorum because they make me sick.

Mitt Romney makes me sick. Not just because he´s a lousy politician with no integrity. Anyone with a brain could see Romney was destroying his chances to win in 2012 by dividing the party with his appalling attacks on fellow Republicans. He dumped millions into attack ads on Newt Gingrich who up to that point had said nothing against him. Romney´s negatives skyrocketed at that point and never recovered. In destroying Gingrich, Romney destroyed himself and our chances to remove Obama from office.

No, it´s deeper than that. Mitt Romney is dishonest in an unusually profound way. There is something fundamentally wrong with him. His most prominent supporter on this site in 2012 has since disavowed him. The one remaining Romneybot is a co-religionist who continues to vote his church over conscience and common sense. No doubt he´ll be popping up shortly to feign perplexity and to tell us Mitt´s being misquoted again by the hostile liberal media.

Nobody is that stupid. But, as Mitt Romney has taught us, there are people who are that dishonest.

The Perfumed and coiffed Prince Willard has absolutely NO chance of ever winning the Presidency unless he runs in another Country. He hitched his wagon to the wrong Horse when he decided to be a Never Trumper. We, REPUBLICAN Voters will never, ever vote for him, ever!! The fact that he STILL can´t admit that Trump is innocent of all charges, that this was a coup executed by Democrats and that Trump is doing a great job of running this country says Mitt is still wanting to run himself and in order to do it, he has to knock down Trump every chance he gets. #25 said it more eloquently than I could have. In 2012, this site was flooded with attacks on anyone who dared question the "sainted" nominee. Romney´s operatives could rival the meanest lefties out there. Being on the receiving end of those nasty attacks on this forum actually caused me to leave it entirely for several years.

There is, indeed, something seriously wrong with anyone who claims to be as pure as Romney while sanctioning vicious attacks on people in his own party. No telling how many votes he lost by doing that. He is the most detestable hypocrite in the country.

#28, to quote Victor Laszlo, "Welcome back to the fight. This time I know our side will win."

Thinking about that line and the movie it´s from, I wonder if people remember how appalling Richard Blaine appears when first introduced in Casablanca. He is a sullen antisocial wretch. He sells out his friends and minds his own business running a saloon. There are moments in the film where you´re not sure who Richard Blaine really is. His friend admiringly says "I´m gonna miss you. Apparently, you´re the only one in Casablanca who has even less scruples than I do."

By the end, it´s clear who Richard Blaine is; just as it´s becoming increasingly clear who Donald Trump is.

He´s everything Mitt Romney isn´t.

The worst episode of squandering money in my life was when I made a contribution to Mitt in 2012.
The second worst episode was when I made a contribution to NcCain in 2008.
The third worst was in 1996 when I made a contribution to Dole.
In all three cases, each of them refused to run a vigorous campaign.
The low point for each of them was as follows -
Dole, in 1996, refusing to go after Dollar Bill Clinton´s draft dodging.
McCain in 2008 admonished a supporter who used Obola´s middle name of Hussein.
And of course, Mitt in 2012 refused to debate adequately, backing down to Candy Crowley´s lie.

Apologies for my excessive posts on this thread. #39 is right about many things here and was equally right when it really counted back in 2012. I remember the principled opposition to Romney that came from several LDS L-Dotters. It came from the same place mine did -- that Mitt Romney was not a reliably conservative candidate. However, it cost me nothing to oppose Romney. I admired #39 immensely for taking that position then despite any personal incentives to do otherwise.

And if I failed to make that clear at the time, please let me do so now.

Since he took office, President Joe Biden has sworn to overhaul draconian Trump-era policies, crafting a kinder, gentler immigration system where everyone — from refugees to asylees to students to billionaire CEOs — is welcome. There’s just one problem: Despite the massive immigration package he introduced on Day One and the flurry of executive orders that soon followed, Biden's policies have yet to catch up with his rhetoric. To be sure, Biden inherited a complicated puzzle — a convoluted system designed to do the exact opposite of what he wants it to do. He’s only been in office for six weeks. And much of his energy has been focused on battling the

In an open letter released Sunday, Pro-Life Evangelicals for Biden urged him to “honor his commitment” and include the Hyde Amendment in Democrats’ $1.9 trillion COVID-19 spending package, writing “we feel used and betrayed.” The letter states: We are very disappointed about the COVID-19 relief package’s exclusion of the Hyde Amendment, a longstanding bipartisan policy that prevents taxpayer funding for abortion. [snip] As pro-life leaders in the evangelical community, we publicly supported President Biden’s candidacy with the understanding that there would be engagement [with] us on the issue of abortion and particularly the Hyde Amendment

If you had any doubts that Meghan Markle is a manipulative piece of work, her bombshell Oprah interview Sunday night dumping on the British monarchy would set you straight. Prince Harry’s American wife accused his family of hateful racism against her baby, claimed they refused to protect her and drove her to the point of suicide. She made the incendiary and implausible charge that when she was pregnant with Archie, the royal family decreed that her unborn son would be denied the title of “prince” because her mixed race meant he might have dark skin.

Nancy Pelosi’s top priority is to turn America into a one-party nation ruled by Democrats. Her bill HR 1 trashes the U.S. Constitution in an attempt to rig the system and make it virtually impossible to elect a Republican president or Congress again. It’s a power grab. The bill eviscerates state voting laws and forces all the states to conform to a set of rules that includes automatic voter registration. Anyone who goes to a DMV or applies for food stamps, Medicaid or other social services, or attends a public college will be automatically enrolled to vote. Noncitizens are obligated to identify themselves and opt out,

I’m probably second to none in my dislike for Meghan Markle. There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. And the problem is that, when it comes to that left-wing diva, Meghan Markle, it’s hard to believe most of what she says. After weeks of hype, CBS finally televised Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah.

Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
