On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Cavuto: Coast to Coast,” Fox News Analyst and host Howard Kurtz stated that some people on the right “are going too far” by claiming that the Mueller report completely exonerates President Trump “as if there’s no embarrassing or damaging material in here.” He added that “too many” people in the media aren’t accepting that there are no further charges. He said, “I mean, some on the right are going too far in saying this completely and totally exonerates the president, as if there’s no embarrassing or damaging material in here

I have a lot of issues with Kurtz, but i’m not sure he’s that wrong here.

No sane person believed that Mueller´s report would be fair to the President. It is filled with sleazy innuendo, and was written expressly for the media to use straight out of the can.

Needing exoneration is a false premise in a legal system that presumes innocence unless and until a defendant is found guilty.
Mueller et al failed to prove Trump guilty. Ergo Trump remains innocent.
Exonerate THAT b!tches.

The Leftist always say the report contains this "damaging material" but they never seem to give the details. What, other than Mueller´s innuendo, is so horribly damaging to Trump in the report? As with Trump´s "racism" and "Fascism" they simply act as if this is a given without stating exactly why.

The report says clearly "No collusion".
This is too complex for them to grasp, and they cannot mentally get off of the Collusion Train that they have built, powered and ridden for the last two years.

The reason they call them "Prosecutors" is that if they find evidence of a crime, they PROSECUTE.
Herr Mueller and his Swamp Gestapo, in spite of their take-no-prisoners attitude, went Unicorn Hunting and were not able to find any Unicorns, so they decided to publish a report of "well, this is what we think MIGHT have happened, but we couldn´t prosecute anyone with evidence as flimsy as this."
In other words, it´s what a grand jury would call a "No Bill."
The Department of Justice is not the Department of Exoneration, so what if the report doesn´t "exonerate" anyone. Last I checked, we live in a country that says you are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Well, at least for now.

You can take Howard Kurtz out of the Washington Post, but you will never take the Washington Post out of Howard Kurtz.
After Maria Bartiromo´s Sunday Morning Futures, ends at 11AM Fox News is not seen on our TV until Life, Liberty, and Levin comes on at 10PM.

It is impossible to prove something that never happened actually never happened, impossible. Trump is innocent until proven otherwise.

Comments are correct that remind us that exoneration is not even expected - a jury finds a person not guilty. They do not undo the damage to the reputation of the accused. We have to rely on people´s good will to recognize that, once tried, the issue is done - finis!
Democrats who pursue this from here are not person of good will. Yes, Trump leaned on his staff, urged them to do things improperly, and used foul language.
Mueller,an experienced investigator with a talented and highly motivated staff found nothing of sufficient import to charge Trump.
Trump is not guilty and Kurtz is correct to say that Trump´s behavior is embarrassing but not criminal. It´s done. End of story.

This is why such reports are usually kept private. Some of it is no better than a dossier, full of opinion and not verified.
The report exonerated Trump from all crimes Mueller was investigating and might have tripped over along the way. Cohen was certainly held accountable for crimes he committed. Trump, NOTHING.
Being angry is not a crime or, considering the garbage being thrown at Trump, not even bad magnets. He may have wanted to do some questionable things but his people reigned him in, just as they are supposed to do.
This is all about losers who have nowhere else to go.

The Latin root of exonerate is “free from a burden”.
He committed no crime. No evidence of a crime. No crime was charged, so no “not guilty” is involved. He is innocent.

Great. I am not part of the 1%, but I´ll wager a second mortgage with Howie any day of the week that he is wrong. President Trump will NOT be charged from anything in that report Howie. Put up your money, big mouth.

The report says that no evidence of the crime of criminal collusion was found. Thus no crime occurred.
To be found Not Guilty is not the same as being found innocent. Not Guilty means the prosecutor did not prove you guilty of the crime charged. That does not mean you were innocent.
In this instance there was no crime. Nothing was charged. Nothing prosecuted. President Trump was innocent of allegations made that turned out to be baseless. No crime.

In a trial the accused gets to cross examine witnesses and present their case. The Mueller report has no such due process just one sided gossip. Since there were no charges, his complete report should have been
No Russian collusion and no obstruction of justice.

Cavuto and Kurtz can go pound salt.
Trump could walk around with a halo above his head and they would find something wrong, well not exactly wrong, but something. There just has to be something.

The prosecutors tried for 2 years to find something to charge the POTUS with, and found nothing. Their report says exactly that. On the other hand, the AG´s office is filling with criminal referrals concerning current and former FBI, DOJ, NSA, and CIA officials, and some people, myself, think Obama is the head of the cabal that attempted to overthrow the Trump presidency. We are done with the Trump persecution, but we are not done with the Obama and Clinton cabal.

Is "embarrassing" High Crime or Misdemeanor?
Is "damaging" High Crime or Misdemeanor?
Not what one may "feel",
but legally?
No?

One thing is for sure, if the leftist and liberal Democrats and their media minions get their way, and the congressional Democrats impeach President Trump, he will be the first President in US history who was impeached for obstructing an injustice!

Mueller´s Part 1 shows there was no collusion, thus no crime.
Part 2 follows as though Part 1 didn´t exist; if no collusion there´s no crime and without a crime, what is Trump obstructing? Part 2 is just Mueller´s gift to all the partisans he hired: a change to practice the Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Wait till the IG report drops-if there are criminal referrals and indictments given, then the gloves will truly come off. If AG Barr comes back with indictments in connection to the FBI sham Hillary email investigation, the leaks coming from the Obama Admin, the unmaskings re Rice & Powers, etc., there will be a virtual war between FOX and every other media outlet that was complicit in this whole coup attempt.
