Actress Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, along with 14 other parents, were indicted Tuesday by a federal grand jury in Boston on money laundering charges, as part of the nationwide college admissions cheating case. Loughlin and Giannulli, who were arrested last month on a criminal complaint, are charged with conspiring with William “Rick” Singer, 58, of Newport Beach, Calif., and others to bribe SAT and ACT exam administrators to allow a test taker to secretly take college entrance exams in place of students, or to correct the students’ answers

She´ll end up sentenced to community service; gotta spend 30 hours wine-tasting in Malibu likely.

Certainly not the most compelling story out there but still, it´s part of the "I´m me and you´re not" mentality were laws and rules are thought to be for other people. It´s pervasive in politics and Hollywood .

One of the comments after the original article stated that Lori & husband are both Republicans with her husband being a major Trump supporter - I have no idea if that is true but if so & they are singled out for more punishment than those who hate PJT it would be something to squawk about.

Actually, I´m happy to read this. This woman has been gadding about, smiling, signing autographs and sharing jokes with her daughter in public. I guess someone told her it looks bad. She, more than anyone, should do time just because of her arrogance.

The problem with entering into clandestine agreements with dishonest people is that someone always spills the beans. The lower the life, the more likely they are to talk. That includes politicians and thieves, but I repeat myself.

I want proof of their political donations and voter registrations before I comment on that. I’m skeptical. But, it only matters that they’re bad people—no matter how they vote.

How did Michelle Robinson get into Princeton and Barry get into Occidental, Columbia then Harvard? Stellar grades? Or, was it Chicago thuggery and in Barry’s case, Middle Eastern money and Deep State steering?

No liberal arts degree has any value anymore. Only ones of value are factual types like Math, Science, and Engineering.

The evidence seems strong in these cases.
I suspect Huffman made a wise move yesterday when she pleaded guilty and accepted full responsibility. (Many will be cynical about her words but that doesn´t matter.)

Money laundering. Would that include things like a politician worth millions and 3 homes at a million apiece, but who never worked, earns $174,000 a year and is now a socialist candidate for President? Maybe a politician that lives outside their district in a $4 million dollar home, on a $174,000 salary. While the Hollyweird people are dishonest, at least they more or less earn the money they throw around. So, many ´likes´ for Poster #1 . I also wonder if anyone believes the Kennedys got into Harvard on their brains.

I hope she does time and has to pay a large fine because her crimes actually hurt innocent people: the two girls who worked their butts off as members of crew teams and were denied spots at USC. I also think lori´s crimes are different than rich parents that donate millions for a library or building or scholarship funds because these large donations are made out in the open and actually benefit the colleges and all the students at such colleges. Illegal clandestine bribes do not help the schools, or students and actually hurt students denied access.

I believe that Affirmative Action students hurt hard working, deserving students, but that´s apparently OK. Same thing, giving free or discounted tuition to illegals, and not to deserving American students. There are a lot more of those cases than there are of big bribery cases.
