Meghan may have been adorned with the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau tiara on her wedding day, but it seems the door to the monarch´s treasure chest of priceless jewels has now been slammed shut. Prince Harry is reportedly deeply offended by his 92-year-old grandmother´s decision to ´ban´ the Duchess of Cambridge from borrowing any of the monarch´s precious private jewellery. The ´move´, said to be a response by the Queen to her granddaughter-in-law´s ´demanding behaviour´ since becoming a fully signed-up member of the firm, may smart all the more because so many other royal leading

Five years and done. This gal Meghan is trouble for the royal family. It may take Harry five years and he will see the light.

This little American wench needs to learn her place!!!! And, yes, I did just say that as a woman!!!!!!!
She knew there were strict rules that she would have to follow to marry in to the royal family, and she has chosen to flaunt them every step along the way. I find it hard to believe the Queen has put it with her shenanigans this long!!!!
Nobody forced her to marry into that family. But she knew darn well that it is a very old and traditional family, and what her role would need to be.
When even Camilla is treated better than you, you know you have messed up. Sadly, I doubt Meghan´s ego will ever allow her to stop being a massive pain!!!

Harry married trash, really a nutcase, stupid disaster. I doubt this will last much longer.

Elizabeth is no dummy. Charles and his sons are. One married an English rose the other married an ego mounted on very high heels.

Harry brought it on himself by marrying a low-class, social-climbing, divorced B-actress with a trashy family. His prime position as "the spare," is now demoted to sixth in line to the throne. He needs to find something useful to do besides living off the British taxpayers. She needs to realize that every time William and Kate pump out another child, her husband becomes closer to being a "lesser royal."

But he sure looked handsome w those red whiskers... Who´s dumber and unambitious - any average US Senator, or Prince Charles?
Nice time to visit Cuba, ding dong.
Love the photos of the jewels, pearls and queens/princesses over the years - wearing the same jewelry. Poignant w Princess Di.

I was so happy the Queen said no to the two of them going independent and starting their own "global philanthropy brand". If that was allowed they would have started Trump bashing in no time. I know she´s a Trump hater and it must kill her to have to keep quiet while her trashy Hollywood counterparts bash him every day. As long as she´s married to Harry she is not allowed to talk publicly about politics and that makes me smile.

Daily Mail really does need to hire a reliable and competent proof-reader. They make stupid mistakes like what is in the above sentence all the time. They incorrectdly identify people in captions of pictures. They misspell words. Harry and Megs are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, not Cambridge. William and Catherine are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Gee, get it right! Huge pet peeve of mine!

Harry needs to relinquish his titles and his place in the line of succession and then he and his wife can live the celebrity life that his wife craves. Somehow I don’t think that she’d hang around too long if he did that though.

Not a fan of either one of them. It would help if Harry did something else other than hold his wife´s hand 24/7. He might want to start looking for a job. His wife sees herself as entitlement queen. He was too dumb to see he was played. My bet is soon after the baby arrives perhaps some old flame will reappear and this ´union´ will be on the rocks. No, not on the queen´s rocks! She is too smart, she can see where this is going.

I guess the British love their Monarchy but as far as I´m concerned I Thank God we in the US don´t have to even pretend to give a damn about the dysfunctional "royal" family. Except for Queen Elizabeth, they all a bunch of expensive jerks. The Brits are lucky that they are just around for show and don´t control a thing.

I wish them well. But, why does Meghan keep holding her stomach? Is it a defensive tic? Most pregnant women don´t do it.

Low-breed American actress. Maybe some costume jewelry by Wilma Flintstone would be appropriate for her.

My take on all of this tiara and earring borrowing is; do the ladies not have any jewelry of their own?
Oh well, I would not like to live under the rules of The Firm. I do as I wish and have to consult no one.

Harry would be just fine without tax money. He and Will inherited a lot from their mother and each is independently wealthy from having a royal lineage of about 1000 years. No one gets away with anything with the Queen. What she says goes. Period. No exception. Markle will be in for a big shock after ´she´ delivers. (Rumor has it she´s not really pregnant, a surrogate is.) Just hope she doesn´t do too much damage to Harry - it´s obvious to everyone this marriage won´t last.

Looks like Meghan is not high enough up the Royal packing order to wear the Queen’s jewels. Since the Queen owns those jewels it is up to her who gets to wear them. So what is the big deal, other than the Daily Mail trying to create, maybe racially based controversy?

Diana might have been queen. Catherine will someday be queen. Zara is not up there in the line of succession, but is the daughter of the Queen’s only daughter. For the most part, I see those very high on the succession list or very very close to the Queen. Even good old Camiller is married to someone immediately in the line of succession to the throne. God forbid.

First off, Meghan is Duchess of SUSSEX. Kate is Duchess of Cambridge. Sick thing about the media is that they had so much readership during the heyday of the ´bad royals´, Diana/Charles/Camilla and Fergie and Andrew that they have to drum up sleaze, lies and innuendo among the current apparently well behaved crop of young royals. What they are doing is absolutely despicable.
PS: a supposedly British tabloid that cannot even keep their royals straight has no credibility with any sensible thinking person.
I truly wish the people in this nation would realize that the royals are being beset by the most sleazy rotten made up stories about the royals right now. All because the media wants the readership. Filthy beggars.

Uh, #4, he so respected Kate she had to shack up for seven years before she and her mother wangled a ring out of him. William the spoiled is no prize. He is an arrogant, prissy man - a Windsor through and through.
I am no Meghan fan but I was glad the couple’s first tour was a success. Unfortunately, that tour sealed their doom with the Firm. The Danish Royal family has gained many fans as people watch this nasty mess.
The RF has far bigger problems trying to figure out how they will have much relevance in a country that grows less British every year. Londonistan is a fact not a myth. London has a radical Muslim mayor with radical ties. London is tipped to be the Islamic Capitol of Europe. Sharia law entwining itself around the nation’s government, schools, entertainment and culture. Anti-Semitism is normal not rare.

Sounds like the Royal women aren´t going to have to be concerned about jewels down the road since they´ll all be wearing burkas.
A real possibility here, and one that I worry about when I consider my granddaughter´s future.

Give it a few years...Meghan might end up as a cashier at Safeway, regaling anyone who will listen to her story of how she used to be someone. I wonder if the Queen already has her replacement picked out?

Perhaps the Queen has figured out the newcomer will take the money and run. Or gawd forbid let her mother wear it.

Meghan is a Tinseltown twit. They´re all prone to stealing from others. I wouldn´t loan her any jewels either. What came back would be paste ones.

#9, can you try to ´let it go´ when you disagree with someone else´s comments? Some of us find it hurtful that you often denigrate others for their comments.
