In recent days, Democrats have been trampling all over each other to get to a microphone to trumpet massive structural changes to American public life. First, several presidential candidates are calling for an increase in the size of the Supreme Court. Nine justices are too few, apparently. In a proposal that seems straight out of the writers’ room at “The West Wing,” Beto O’Rourke wants the court apportioned by party, with five Democrats and five Republicans, and an extra five chosen by the 10 partisan ones. Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has endorsed a proposal

If only the Democrat Party do some soul-searching to seriously consider dumping all the lefty radicals in its midst and go back to its original foundation, as Andrew Jackson intended it. This is not to say I’d ever vote for a Democrat (only after I’m dead), but at least, it would be far more tolerable than it is now.

Let the democrat party self-destruct. It would only benefit this country. Name one thing they have done in the last hundred years that have actually benefited this country and its people. Now that the crazies have taken over the party, the mask has been ripped off and we see the actual soul of the party and it is not pretty. They are radical, intolerate, anti-American globalists who hate our Founders and traditional thinking Americans. They crave one thing and that is the power to tell every single one of us how to live our lives. They are totalitarians who would eliminate any opposition. Of course, they want to change the rules. They have been rejected by the voters and know they could not win another election without stealing their way to victory. They are desperate which makes them dangerous. Never ever vote for any democrat. It would mean disaster. Vote them all out and then we can go Rino hunting.

We need to start referring to these people as leftists; a point often made by Dennis Prager. Calling them liberals is a perversion of the real meaning of that word making what they want and do seem like positive things; much like the word progressive. In typical fashion these days whatever Dems say (like the names given to legislation they want to impose), the truth is actually the opposite.
Leftists not liberals.

I’ve been calling them leftists for over a decade.
Remember how they tried to change Florida’s election rules after the election in 2000 and the Florida Supreme Court let them? Then it took the SCOTUS getting involved to straighten out the mess?
They always talk about leveling the playing field but in presidential elections they actually want to dig trenches - for the Republicans.

Don´t hold your breath for the Republicans to come up with any rule change ideas detrimental to the Democrats. Our Republican representatives are always well rested.

Not only are they doing this, they are also trying to shelve the Electoral College, that way New York, CA, and Illinois will run the nation, that is one scary thought my friends.

Pelosi´s preposterous proposal to give the 16 to 18 crowd the vote is especially heinous. Those little oatmeal-heads would see free college as their saving grace and vote for any dem that mentions it. National security and fair trade is the farthest thing from their little minds. Look at todays high school juniors and seniors in your and just try to come home with a positive image in your head. There is pressure from parents, high school counselors and the colleges themselves to put every high school graduate into college, any college. Judging by the extreme downgrading of the Freshman workload, seventy-five percent would attempt a first year and probably wing their way through it. What a windfall for the schools since they get paid the tuition before classes begin. Your kid would come home bragging about finally being able to read at a sixth grade level.

I think calling them leftists is so generic that it gives them cover.
There are two items that they believe in where it gives me pause to vote for a Democrat. They are: taking God out of every aspect of life and their stance on abortion.
Democrats/liberals want to control everything and that is probably why they want to take God out of everything. They think they are smarter than God. And Republicans.

Who could be so blind as to not see what the democrats are up to?
Eliminate the electoral college, pack the supreme court, illegal immigration, don´t build the wall, illegals able to vote, illegals being eligible for social security and healthcare and the list goes on.
I can only assume that internal polling by the democrats is showing there are some dire issues facing them in 2020. We have Blexit, #Walkaway and now Jexodus...compliments of Ilhan Omar. Without a new victim group, they´ve set their sights on Hispanics, the democrats will be lucky to win local dog control positions.
President Trump has decimated everybody who has attacked him, now the Mueller witch hunt is falling apart and it looks like there will be investigations against some democrats in the near future.
I don´t know about you but all of this winning is making me feel pretty good about 2020.

I (we) have been warned of this since the fifties, according to my memory anyway, on back to "duck and cover" in school. I firmly believe their weapon is incrementalism. I´ve said it many times. In this age of what I call "short attention span theatre" borrowed from a bygone tv show, is the perfect environment. It is particularly effective now. It will take an even-handed purposeful and methodical defense to keep such antics at bay. These leftists care nothing about our nation other than pillaging it´s riches and attaining power. In my somewhat educated opinion, they may be socialists but I see it as communism. A sworn enemy of the United States since not too long after the Second World War. I raised my right hand and took the oath and it is irrevocable. That´s why what is happening drills down to my core. I have an extreme dislike for what the left has become and is doing. They are a part of our government that has gone stark raving mad and I am sad to see it. We are no longer in balance. At an age where I care less about myself but much more concerned about my children and theirs. How to undo the damage done lately I am not sure but somebody out there is. I have faith this will be righted I just hope it happens soon.
