Meghan McCain launched into an emotional rant directed at President Trump Monday in the wake of renewed attacks on her late father from the Oval Office.McCain slammed Trump is a blistering monologue on ABC’s “The View” on Monday after her fellow co-hosts came to the late senator´s defense. Joy Behar also managed to get a small shot in at the president, saying that “no one in his family wants to spend any time with him,” in response to McCain’s tweet from the weekend suggesting Trump spend time with his “family instead of on twitter obsessing over” hers. ´Her father´ killed more Americans than Donald J. Trump!

´Her father´ co-sponsored unConstitutional legislation.

´Her father´ betrayed his oath of office many times.

So, maybe she could just shut up preaching about ´her father´!

Too late, McCain. Trump is already one of the greatest American Presidents. Your father was complicit in spreading a phony dossier around DC that was used by bad eggs at DOJ and FBI -working in cahoots with the DNC- to stage a coup. Sorry little girl, you Dad was a TRAITOR.

Songbird in Vietnam, S##tbird in the Senate.

He kicked off his career in the Senate by being the only Republican caught in the Keating 5 (savings and loan) scandal. I figured he was either a crook or an idiot.

He did nothing in his remaining career to make me consider changing that assessment.

I think it´s pretty hot right now where he is.

John McCain´s handling of that phony dossier is truly contemptible! He violated the trust of the American people.

No amount of whining from his family is going to change this. This will be a part of John McCain´s legacy, although this bratty daughter of his will continue to do everything she can to change the subject. It´s high time some other members of the Senate began commenting on the fraud that John McCain has perpetrated on the American people.

It´s too bad for everyone that John McCain ever went to Viet Nam.

Listening to Joe DiGenova on local talk radio, www.wmal,com.mornigs on the mall. According to Joe, McCain was a misogynist - no women on his staff. And he reminded us that McCain started this tiff with Candidate Trump when he said Trump was brining all the crazies out.

Here´s a reality check for Ms. Meghan.... It is certainly NOT the case that everyone loved your father although perhaps the group of losers who formed ISIS might have appreciated him; they considered your dad their mentor and godfather. If you´re interested there are pics of them all yucking it up together. THAT´S your father, Meghan; very few great men would even consider behaving like that. However that´s just the thing failed, petty, extremely small men would do. I think deep down he must have always known he never had what it takes. He got where he was by riding family coat tails.
Simply put your father was a traitor. Think about that for awhile.

A heads up to Meghan: Stop it. Stop it now. You are making a fool of yourself at a level without peer. Whatever you thought about your father is entirely your business and no amount of selling on your part will make those of us who saw his "nether" side think otherwise. Your child-like tantrums delivered by using a sicko format like The View doesn´t help...just lets others see the degree you will go to in using your now deceased father for your own advantage. Think about going somewhere to begin learning how to be an adult...would be a good start. Then think about leaving home and doing something that doesn´t have mummy´s hand behind it...or is this just round two in what is your supposed grooming to run for political office? Whatever it is, it´s revolting and so frankly are you.

John McCain was NEVER a great man.

Donald Trump was a better man than McCain, before he was elected President, something that nasty, bitter, back-stabbing, crooked John McCain never was able to do, even with the able help of the fine Sarah Palin.

And now the Trump has been President, that fact alone puts him far ahead of McCain, and with all of Trump´s ACTUAL accomplishments, he is a far more historic figure.

Quick quiz: Name ONE thing that John McCain did of real note. Not counting all the times he stabbed Republicans in the back in the Senate.

He got shot down over VN. An "accomplishment"?

He was POW. An "accomplishment"?

He was a Senator. An "accomplishment"?

He was caught up in a bribery scandal with Keating. An "accomplishment"?

He lost a Presidential election. An "accomplishment"?

I can´t fine one significant thing on the plus side of the ledger for this man.

I get it, daughters love their fathers. But the American people did NOT love McCain.

Meghan, only in your pathetic small mind do you think your father was someone to look up to. Your father could have resigned from the Senate graciously, but, no, he had to hang in there long enough to screw President Trump and the rest of the American people by voting to uphold Obamacare. Didn’t he get to spite Trump by saddling the nation with obamacare as his last official act? He even got buried at Annapolis where he broke every rule and goofed his way to the bottom of his class. So why are you so mad Meggy? Is it because you know he was actually exected for treason and Q hinted it was coming well in advance?

Meghan, children most always deeply love their moms and their dads. It´s natural. Just try to understand that. I,for one am glad you loved your dad. I´m sure you and he were ´buddies´. My dad and I were ´buddies´ . That´s the way it should be.
For you to have to fall apart every so often to tear down the President of the United States in an attempt to elevate your father speaks volumes to me. You seem to cast doubt on your father´s ´greatness´ by frequently having to mention it. Your father´s greatness will stand on it´s own.
History will evaluate the greatness of John McCain.
Whatever that is, you will have to accept.

For what it´s worth, deep in my heart, I believe Donald J. Trump to be a great and selfless man. I feel fortunate to live in these times where I can celebrate a great man in the White House where previous presidents have barely tried.

The poll tested the public’s reaction to the end of special investigator Robert Mueller’s probe and found some sympathy for Trump and support for a tweet proposal by Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. to tack two years on to the Republican’s first term because the probe stole two years from his presidency. Disgraced former Obama administration officials James Comey and John Brennan are reportedly duking it out publicly in what for all intents and purposes looks a whole lot like a real-life performance of the hilarious Mad magazine cartoon “Spy vs. Spy.”Except the implications of this “performance” are mad real, pun intended. This real-life feud over what’s often referred to as “spygate” concerns the infamous Steele dossier. The question everybody wants to be answered is “whodunit,” i.e., which one of these two disgraced officials was responsible for elevating the fraudulent, smear-filled document into undeserved relevance. According to sources who spoke with Fox News, there

There´s just one problem: although individual income tax rates have gone down since 2017, individual income tax revenues have gone up. According to the White House budget office, Federal Tax revenues were as follows: (Listing) (This does ignore Social Security and other trust funds.) But how is this possible? How could tax rates have gone down, but taxes collected gone up? Think of the government as, say, a Cadillac dealer. If prices for Cadillac cars go up, it´s not necessarily true that revenues from selling Cadillacs go up, too. It depends on a lot of other things — prices and availability of

In August 2008, back when it mattered, the Washington Post ran a 10,000-word article by its Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter David Maraniss titled, “Though Obama Had to Leave to Find Himself, It Is Hawaii That Made His Rise Possible.” For reasons that will soon become clear, Maraniss should have excused himself from this assignment once he discovered the identity of the man in Hawaii who made that rise possible. Barack Obama referred to this man in his 1995 memoir, Dreams from My Father, as “Frank.” If there was any mystery to Frank’s identity, Gerald Horne, a leftist scholar from the University

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said Sunday that growing cauliflower in community gardens is part of the “colonial” attitudes that her Green New Deal will stamp out. The New York Democrat, who introduced the proposal to tackle climate change by radically transforming the economy, posted a series of Instagram videos filmed in her home state talking about community gardens as a “core component” of her proposal. “What I love too is growing plants that are culturally familiar to the community. It’s so important,” she said as she filmed a community garden in the Bronx. “So that’s really how you do it right.

The Nevada Senate approved Tuesday a National Popular Vote bill on a party-line vote, sending the legislation aimed at upending the Electoral College to the governor. Assembly Bill 186, which passed the Senate on a 12-8 vote, would bring Nevada into the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement between participating states to cast their electoral votes for the winner of the popular vote. If signed as expected by Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak, Nevada would become the 16th jurisdiction to join the compact, along with 14 states and the District of Columbia.

Americans today are more closely divided than they were earlier in the last century when asked whether some form of socialism would be a good or bad thing for the country. While 51% of U.S. adults say socialism would be a bad thing for the country, 43% believe it would be a good thing. Those results contrast with a 1942 Roper/Fortune survey that found 40% describing socialism as a bad thing, 25% a good thing and 34% not having an opinion. The Roper/Fortune survey is one of the oldest trend questions measuring attitudes on socialism in the U.S. Gallup's update of the question in an April 17-30 survey finds

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., joined the legion of “Game of Thrones” fans disappointed by the show’s finale. “I’m sad,” said Ocasio-Cortez in a video of the two legislators posted to Warren’s Twitter account Tuesday. “Disappointed about it.” “I was just really… meh,” said Warren. The pair bemoaned the arcs of the female characters who seemed prime to rule at the end of the series. Instead, one “went crazy” and the other settled for ruling only part of the continent. The lawmakers were not alone in their distaste for the series’ treatment of its female characters

The political zealotry of the federal judge who ordered ten years’ worth of Donald Trump’s financial records be turned over to the House Oversight and Reform Committee chaired by Elijah Cummings has been revealed with a highly unusual provision of his order. (snip) The remedy for potential political bias in a federal judge’s ruling consists of the appeals process, with the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and ultimately the Supreme Court able to reverse such a decision. But Judge Mehta’s order forbids this

After taking President Trump's endorsement to get himself elected senator, Mitt Romney has made quite a show of turning on Trump. The last two incidents have been notable: He declared GOP "maverick" congressman Justin Amash "courageous" for joining the Democrats and calling for the impeachment of President Trump in the House. He also made this ad hominem attack on Trump over the weekend, playing Puritan for us: On Sunday, Romney was back at it, attacking the president's character. "I think he could substantially improve his game when it comes to helping shape the character of the country," Romney said on CNN.

Jerry Nadler’s cynical, cowardly show 19 replies

Jerry Nadler was at it again Tuesday, waxing indignant about former White House counsel Don McGahn’s refusal to testify before the House Judiciary Committee. It’s all a show, meant to keep old news in the headlines, and to appease the large “Impeach Now!” wing of the Democratic Party without actually doing anything. Everyone on Judiciary knows perfectly well that Congress can’t compel testimony from top presidential advisers except in the most extraordinary circumstances: The chief executive’s right to frank, confidential discussions with his staff is well-established. So Nadler’s bluster about how he’ll “go to court to secure” McGahn’s appearance is just noise for the cameras. Then again, that’s all

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-NY, accused the White House of "intimidating" former White House Counselor Don McGahn from testifying on Capitol Hill and said it was becoming "more and more difficult" to not consider President Trump's impeachment on Monday night. Nadler told CNN anchor Chris Cuomo that his committee will hold McGahn "in contempt" for not complying with the subpoena and will take the battle to court. "You are dealing with a lawless president who is willing to go to any lengths to prevent testimony that might implicate him, that does implicate him," Nadler said. Nadler expressed that Trump's "lawless behavior"

The U.S. Postal Service on Tuesday started a two-week test transporting mail across three Southwestern states using self-driving trucks, a step forward in the effort to commercialize autonomous vehicle technology for hauling freight. San Diego-based startup TuSimple said its self-driving trucks will begin hauling mail between USPS facilities in Phoenix and Dallas to see how the nascent technology might improve delivery times and costs. A safety driver will sit behind the wheel to intervene if necessary and an engineer will ride in the passenger seat. If successful, it would mark an achievement for the autonomous driving industry and a possible

There's a recurring theme in American science fiction where the country loses its way, endures some horrible but cleansing disaster, and then rediscovers the blessings of liberty. You'll find it in Robert Heinlein's "Future History" stories, where the Crazy Years -- a period of rapid technological advances, decaying social norms, and mass psychosis -- leads to the backlash of a religious dictatorship. The Prophets regime is eventually toppled by a liberty-loving group dedicated to individual rights. The theme is even more pronounced in Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, where a socialist regime puts the country into another Great Depression, only worse. The country's capitalists
