At some level, you have to give House Democrats some credit for ambition. They may have just sent to the Senate the most comprehensively unconstitutional bill in modern American history. It’s called the “For the People Act,” and it’s a legislative buffet of bad ideas. The alleged purpose of the bill, H.R. 1, is to “expand Americans’ access to the ballot box, reduce the influence of big money in politics, and strengthen ethics rules for public servants.” In reality, the bill represents an extraordinary federal power grab. At every turn, it grants federal regulators more power.

Like the Republicans voting again and again to repeal 0bamacare when they knew full well that Smidgen would veto it, this is all a dog and pony show for the SJWs and illegals to slurp up with a spoon. There is no chance of this making it through the senate or being signed by Trump.
However, they have told the entire country just where they stand and it’s not going to help them next November.

The ´For the People act´? Somebody should get these clowns to answer who they mean by ´People´. Its not the American voter. Every time something is done in the name of the people, why is it the people that suffer? Washington is full of con-artists, criminals, liars, and frauds.

Understanding Democrats is easy once you comprehend they will do just about anything for a little more power.

They don’t need a new liberal Democrat fraudulent voter encouragment law to stimulate socialist minded aliens to vote in US elections. As they already have one.
The Clinton era Motor Voter laws, that were facilitated into law by both Democrats and Republicans already do that. Those laws essentially register everyone to vote who has been granted a US drivers license. Today many States openly issue drivers licenses to known illegal aliens, California has reported that they have issued over a million drivers licenses to illegal aliens, and of course have always been granting drivers licenses to both legal immigrants and aliens legally here on temporary visas. When you add all those foreign born population groups up, the legitimate total is about 40 million, maybe more. How many have drivers licenses is anyone’s guess.
Once those aliens are registered to vote, they don’t have to worry about possible voter ID laws at the polls, as all they have to do is apply for an early voting or absentee voter ballot by mail, then when the ballot arrives have a Democrat community organizer (vote harvester) show them who to vote for, and collect their ballot.
There is also a provision in the Motor-Voter laws that prohibits local voter registrars from challenging, or even asking registered voters about their citizenship. The Democrats already have those bases covered and intend to keep it that way.

The left has a true evil gift for naming things the opposite of what they actually are. It is not even funny since the left wing and ignorant twitter level sheeple just accept these titles and support stuff they do and do not read it or investigate.

Now we can see how important it was we kept the Senate, or insane bills like this would become law, scary thought.

I wonder what slogans they rejected before they decided on ´For The People´?
It´s so catchy & clever.

Motor-Voter voter registration
Voting without identification
Vote harvesting
All invite vote tampering and fraud, and should be outlawed.
If you are required to show a picture ID to cash a check, rent a car, get on an airplane, or see a medical doctor, then one should be required to show that they legally have the right to vote.
Democrats may believe that their supporters should "vote early and often," but it tramples on the rights of honest voters.

I am facinated that The Never Trump Nat Review fails to point out that there are no media restrictions in HR1 that address “false news” and/or other dem propaganda.
Given the chronic stupidity of certain leftist nominally pubbie senators, it could be that only President Trump’s veto will save our country. Again.
New Yorker independents and patriots ought swallow their pride and get with the President’s program before it is too late. NY pubbies, modern Jews and nominal Catholics always find a reason to get mad at Christian/orthodox patriots... especially from another New Yawker with a larger and heavier foot-print..
Nothing wrong in the current political ethos that term-limits wouldn’t cure.
Frankly, my dear, it is neglectful of our own responsibility to expect that great-big personnel department in the sky to execute our own diligence.
A la McCain, Kennedy(s).. rips
