Strzok out

Televised congressional hearings are the political equivalent of a telethon without any money being raised for charity. The House hearing today with Peter Strzok, the disgraced FBI agent, was as partisan as one could expect, with Democrats propping up the man who tried to overturn the last presidential election. Forget Russian collusion. This was worse: Deep State interference. The newsers rallied round their anti-democratic hero.(Snip )But Melissa Quinn of the Washington Examiner tweeted the highlight of the day: "Holy moly, Louie Gohmert went there: ´I can’t help but wonder when I see you looking there with a little smirk how many times

After hearing Gohmert skewer the cheating Strzok, the Democrats in the room went crazy, their voices rising multiple octaves, questioning Gohmert´s sanity. If one of the yellers had sat on a tack at that moment, the explosion would have been impressive, like ten beach balls filled up with bad air. The tacit point was that people who lie and cheat on their spouses might lie and cheat in other ways as well.

Can´t say I especially blame Strzok for his smirk and his absolutely unrepentant demeanor. John Gotti, guilty as bloody hell, did that until Giuliani and Co. put him away in a pinebox sentence in an 8 x 6 cell in Supermax. It´s fanatics like Strzok who inspire the James Hodgkinson types who think we conservatives should be "kszczot," then carry through.

(In a recent top class track meet one of the middle distance runners was named Adam Kszczot. That name is pronounced "shot.")

It was a moment of brilliance. The Dems howled at the moon but the damage was done. Most married couples, even with thehigh rate of divorce in this country, can relate. Oh, and those are married couples. The ones of age to vote. And voters are what this is all about. Dems think its about insider power within DC. But there is no power if voters turn Dems out in larger numbers.

He stands up for right, but the media will now be out to get him with a fury he has not seen before.

God Bless him for not plying into this farce of an event.

The disgrace and dishonesty brought upon out fedeal law agencies by this man who did not do an investigation into Illdebest’s emails should be enough to fire him and let HIM pay for his own legal defense instead of hiding behind government attorneys to ‘save’ the reputation of the agency. Lord knows the vast majority are not creeps like him!

The amazing, though not surprising, thing about yesterday, was that the democrats, who played defense attorneys, showed they had absolutely no problem with what Strozk did. One of them even said he deserved a medal. So that means, if Strozk was a republican, they would have to have been OK with it too!

The actual crimes Strzok committed were untouched. Gohmert and Gowdy were kabuki actors throwing and puking red meat to get nothing but emotional response. And apparently from most comments, they succeeded while Strzok still openly flips them off, gets away with multiple counts of sedition while the Gohmert´s play a stupid "How do you like me now?" re-election ploy. I´m disgusted by the Republicans´ grandstanding instead of doing their jobs of using Strzok´s own words, federal statutes, and FBI requirements to prove he was lying, prove he committed several crimes, and prove he was bound to recuse himself in 2016. Instead, Strzok will be rewarded for his crimes and Gohmert will get re-elected for a fact having nothing to do with a deep state coup; a coup that will merely get more powerful along with the deep state. Sorry Dotters, I´m more than disgusted with Gohmert.

In the world of Spy vs Spy one side often sends in a "Honey Pot" - a very attractive women - to compromise a key man on the other side and subject them to blackmail or get the info they want. This is why these sexual affairs are reportable in the DOJ and FBI to guard against this. Strzok dodged these questions with the help of congressional RATS. The point needs to be made if the integrity of the three letter agencies is to be preserved. Louie Gohmert´s question was on point.

I was surprised last night to hear Laura Ingraham lament Gohmert´s comments.

Had a guy cheat on me once when I was young, and confronted a friend who had known about it. His excuse was that I wouldn´t have believed it. Fast forward a few years, when the cheater misappropriated funds from the friend who stayed silent. I must admit-- schadenfreude-- if a guy will lie to a loved one, what´s a few thousand dollars between friends?

Harry Truman said he would never knowingly hire someone who was cheating on their wife-- ´coz if he was dishonest in his closest relationships, he wouldn´t have any problem being dishonest elsewhere.

DUBAI - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday cautioned U.S. President Donald Trump about pursuing hostile policies against Tehran, saying “America should know ... war with Iran is the mother of all wars,” but he did not rule out peace between the two countries, either. Iran faces increased U.S. pressure and looming sanctions after Trump’s decision to withdraw the United States from a 2015 international deal over Iran’s nuclear program. Addressing a gathering of Iranian diplomats, Rouhani said: “Mr Trump, don’t play with the lion’s tail, this would only lead to regret,” the state new agency IRNA reported. “America should know that

Enraged that a British cave diver called his idea to rescue the Thai soccer team for what it was — “a p.r. stunt [with] absolutely no chance of working” — Musk took to Twitter and called him a “pedo.” Just like that, Tesla’s market value plummeted by $2 billion. Musk has been in business since 2002. His stated goal is nothing short of transforming humanity through his products: his electric cars, space travel, and an underground high-speed Hyperloop system. He has yet to succeed at anything but somehow spins every

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton attacked President Trump for not “defending a diplomat” who “has spent his career standing up for America” on Thursday.Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul — the diplomat in question — was among the group of American officials that Russia sought to question in connection with a fraudulent scheme to launder hundreds of millions of dollars out of Russia to help fund Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The Trump administration has yet to disclose its position on the case. As Sarah Sanders told reporters on Wednesday, “The president is going to meet with his team, and

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke is making plans to move the headquarters of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) out of Washington, D.C., to a city in the West. The federal government owns 640 million acres in the U.S., or roughly 28 percent of the nation’s entire landmass. The BLM manages 248.3 million acres of public land, more than any other agency, according to a March 2017 report by the Congressional Research Service. Today, @Interior confirmed that they are planning to move the BLM HQ west. This is great news since 99% of the land that the BLM manages is located

Hot summer day, and Hillary Clinton was spotted again at a public speaking event, wearing voluminous clothes - with curious lumps under them. Jim Hoft´s GatewayPundit had the picture sequence, along with a collection of reactions from assorted characters on Twitter, few of them being nice about it. But some were more thoughtful than others, with speculation on what really might be happening.

CLEARWATER — Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri announced Friday that his agency will not arrest a man deputies say shot and killed another man during an argument over a handicap parking space. The incident falls under Florida’s self-defense law known as "stand your ground," the sheriff said during a news conference. The law gives immunity to those in fear of their lives who use force to defend themselves. The shooting "is within the bookends of ‘stand your ground’ and within the bookends of force being justified," the sheriff said, later adding, "I’m not saying I agree with it, but I don’t make

In the past few days, President Trump has given at least some Republicans reason to express displeasure over his relationship with Russia. First he performed a pathetic ritual of subservience before Vladimir Putin, standing beside the Russian leader — after a private meeting between the two, which no aides were permitted to attend — and dismissing the copious evidence of a Russian attack on the 2016 election in deference to Putin’s word. Then we learned that Putin had suggested that we make Americans available to the Kremlin for questioning, including Michael McFaul, the former U.S. ambassador to Russia, in exchange

A wave of nostalgia appears to have swept the nation, with the swinging sixties creeping back into fashion. Hawaiian shirts, traditional barbershops and vintage buys are all making a comeback, and with it, retro scents. The Perfume Shop has reported a 35 per cent yearly increase in the sales of traditional fragrances made famous in the 1960s. Surprisingly, the fragrance specialists say millennials are driving the craze, along with the trend of adopting a sixties lifestyle. An expert for the brand explained the sixties could be defined by the prominence in scents with lavender, tobacco and sandalwood notes, moving away from

A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in U.S. elections is likely far greater than previous estimates. As many as 5.7 million noncitizens may have voted in the 2008 election, which put Barack Obama in the White House. The research organization Just Facts, a widely cited, independent think tank led by self-described conservatives and libertarians, revealed its number-crunching in a report on national immigration. Just Facts President James D. Agresti and his team looked at data from an extensive Harvard/YouGov study that every

Last Friday, Maine Democrat Zak Ringelstein wasn’t ready to consider himself a formal member of the Democratic Socialists of America, even if he appreciated the organization’s values and endorsement in his bid to become a United States senator. Three days later, he told The Associated Press that was ready to become the only major-party Senate candidate in the nation to be a dues-paying democratic socialist. The swift evolution is latest evidence of a nationwide surge in the strength and popularity of an organization that, until recently, operated on the fringes of the liberal movement’s farthest left flank. But as Donald

President Donald Trump demanded on Friday that the ´$40,000,000 commissioner´ of the NFL suspend players for a whole season if they kneel during national anthem more than once. In a rehash of last year´s controversy, the President took to Twitter to blast NFL commissioner Roger Godell for not doing enough to stem the tide of players protesting racial inequality in America. ´The NFL National Anthem Debate is alive and well again - can´t believe it!,´ Trump wrote in the tweet. ´Isn´t it in contract that players must stand at attention, hand on heart? The $40,000,000 Commissioner must now make a stand.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif — From Malibu to Santa Cruz, wealthy people are blocking access to California’s publicly owned beaches. And no group has fought the public longer than the gated community of Hollister Ranch, about 130 miles north of Los Angeles. For more than 36 years, residents there have spent millions of dollars on lawyers and lobbyists to bar the hoi polloi from an 8.5-mile-long beach adorned with several coves. In May, after more than four years of litigation over public access to the beach, a settlement was announced between the ranch cooperative, on one side, and the California Coastal Commission
