Despite anger in London, Trump finds

BARNSLEY, England – President Trump´s three-day visit to the United Kingdom will be greeted by throngs of protesters marching through London, many carrying expletive-laden placards and with an enormous “Trump baby” balloon flying overhead. Meanwhile, liberal media voices in the U.S. and U.K. assure their audiences that Brits are overwhelmingly united against Trump and his policies. But here in the north of England, particularly among those who supported Brexit -- Britain’s departure from the European Union -- opinions of Trump are far more nuanced, with many even offering strong support of the president. “If he came here, I’d shake his

Hey, wait. It´s the Democrats who are supposed to be the champions of the working people. If Trump gets any more of the Democrat blue collar workers, well, the DNC may really be in trouble.

Londinistan is largely lost to foreigners. The real Brits are still there. I hope they can get out of the EU and start getting control of their country back.

Best wishes, but still VERY glad of the events of 1776 and thereafter.

Those in the northern parts of England are typically known as down to business hard working people with little patience for the falderal of nuance (Yorkshire and other counties) This area was the heart of their industrial revolution so they have a natural instinct for whats good for their country. Glad to hear they are responding positively to Trump... they know what’s what...

Strzok Admits He ‘Detested’ Trump,

Peter Strzok admitted to Congress on Thursday that he “detested” Donald Trump and was rooting for Hillary Clinton to win the 2016 election. “You were both rooting for Hillary Clinton to win and you both detested Donald Trump, were you not?” Republican Ohio Rep. Steve Chabot asked Strzok during a joint congressional hearing. “I think that’s fair to say,” said Strzok. While acknowledging his animus to Trump, Strzok insisted in Thursday’s hearing that bias did not affect his work on the Trump-Russia investigation. Strzok led the investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government as deputy chief

Winfield House - the British residence of the US Ambassador - occupies twelve and a half acres on the north-west side of Regent´s Park and has the second largest private garden in central London, after Buckingham Palace. It was built by the famous American socialite Barbara Hutton in the 1930s. She was dubbed the ´poor little rich girl´ because of her troubled life and lived there for a period with her husband Cary Grant. The 35-room mansion replaced a John Nash building and was named after Hutton´s grandfather Frank Winfield Woolworth, founder of the retail stores. It has been the

Add Air Force One to the list of things President Donald Trump wants to improve while he´s in office. According to Axios, the president met with Boeing CEO Dennis Muilenburg earlier this year to discuss using 747s as Air Force One. (The designation is used for whatever plane the president is on at the time, but it´s typically a Boeing VC-25.) The deal would reportedly cost $4 billion and likely wouldn´t lead to new planes available for use until 2021.But he´s not just leaning toward a different aircraft. He also reportedly wants a new look. Specifically, one that incorporates red, white

President Trump wants to scrap Air Force One’s signature baby blue and white paint job — for something that “looks more American,” according to reports Thursday. Trump thinks the blue adorning the presidential jet is a “Jackie Kennedy color” and wants the next iteration to instead feature red, white and blue, Axios reported. He also wants a bigger and more comfortable bed aboard future Air Force One planes — a pair of Boeing 747s that likely won’t actually go into service until 2021, by which time he may not be president anymore, according to the site. But the new paint

Rep. Trey Gowdy and FBI agent Peter Strzok got into a testy exchange Thursday over a series of anti-Trump texts Mr. Strzok sent his lover just before he started as lead investigator for special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia collusion probe. Mr. Gowdy, South Carolina Republican, questioned Mr. Strzok about his dismissal from Mr. Mueller’s team, saying the texts disparaging President Trump showed he was biased. But the embattled FBI agent challenged that, saying that he was let go because the text messages create the perception of bias, not that he was found to be biased. “It is not my understanding

Critics of Donald Trump claim that there’s no rhyme or reason to his foreign policy. But if there is a consistency, it might be called reciprocity. Trump tries to force other countries to treat the U.S. as the U.S. treats them. In “don’t tread on me” style, he also warns enemies that any aggressive act will be replied to in kind. The underlying principle of Trump commercial reciprocity is that the United States is no longer powerful or wealthy enough to alone underwrite the security of the West. It can no longer assume sole enforcement of the rules and protocols

There may not have been much new substance revealed during Peter Strzok’s testimony, as Jazz predicted, but everyone got to watch a lot of score-settling. Republicans in the hearing went after Strzok, Strzok went after them, Democrats and Republicans fought with and talked over each other, and voters got another reason to either cheer or boo depending on who was talking at the moment. Mr. Rosenstein’s request was an unusual insertion of politics into federal law enforcement.
