Peter Strzok faces the music
Washington Examiner [DC], by Kelly Cohen

FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok will face hostile questions from Republicans on Thursday when he appears before the House Judiciary and Oversight committees for a public hearing. In his first public hearing since the Department of Justice inspector general released a report outlining his anti-Trump texts to his FBI lawyer mistress, GOP lawmakers will be looking hard for signs that Strzok´s bias swayed decisions he made in the FBI’s investigations of Hillary Clinton and then-candidate Donald Trump. The IG report acknowledged his bias and other biases in the FBI, but said none of them had an impact on the outcome of either

Faces the music, huh? He walked into that building with a smug expression on his face likes he knows the fix is in. I´m sure there´ll be a lot of noise, but they won´t do a thing to him. I think the people will end up having to do it.

Strzok is an arrogant, over-reaching, overpaid goobermint parasite, just like Lois Lerner. Who knows how many thousands like them inhabit Beltway cubicles, anonymous and undetected in their crimes. Lerner, and now Strzok and his fugly girlfriend are the faces of your feddrill goobermint. How do you like it?

So far, we L-Dotters are in accord, I fear the lout Strzok will receive zero punishment for actively and his on the job attempt to interfere in a federal election. When he failed at that, he continued to try and undermine a sitting President. This is the very definition of sedition which was a hangable offense in the not too distant past.

As far as his smug attitude goes, Strzok acts as if he believes that the President will be gone sooner rather than later and that his world will return to normal when that happens. Like most in the democrat party they believe they have the power to restore their corrupt anti-America utopia in the making. They are fools because just as they underestimated the American people’s determination to defeat the progressive scourge that is permeating our society, they underestimate American resolve to deny them power ever again.

While I question the resolve of the Republican Party to bring these arrogant knaves to justice, it must be done in order to preserve the Republic and the rule of law. This democrat chicanery must end. Therefore, we must have men and women of determination and integrity who will not rest until the guilty are punished.

Strzok was the head of counterintelligence. The FBI is so afraid of him, and what he knows, that they have a lawyer following his every step. We are going to see about a 6 hour hearing. The Democrats are going to do nothing but thank him for his service. That leaves the Republicans 3 hours, most of which will be speeches, so we get an hour and a half of actual questions to Strzok. That is not very satisfactory for a man that has headed the Clinton investigation, then participated in an attempted overthrow of the POTUS.

The Examiner reporter is flat out wrong.
Strzok was biased, but the IG could find no (concrete) evidence that the bias influenced his actions.
We are living in an era where bias, no matter how insignificant, is used as proof of racism, sexism, alphabet pervert hatred and the like.
Yet the democrats turn their heads at the sign of real bias.
Sessions could grant full immunity to the adulterous FBI pigs, to get to the truth.
I would support that.

As #2 states, we have Congress doing the job of the executive (law enforcement) branch...we have the judiciary doing the job of the Congress in making law...we have the executive (law enforcement) branch hauled up before both other branches to explain its misdeeds.

It´s easy to say that DC is a screwed up place but it´s even worse when you consider their day-to-day activities and realize that they gleefully erase any separation of power and do what they like when they like.

Not one thing will happen to Strzok if he refuses to appear or if he pulls down his pants and moons the committee. He will go to any judge in DC and get any indictment, arrest, contempt charge immediately overturned, dismissed, etc.

Kids, Congress is NO LONGER separate but equal. Congress is separate and IRRELEVANT by their own design for almost half a century. When there are only exactly TWO out of 535 Representatives and Senators fulfilling their oath while members of their own party (Gowdy, the full of fury-signifying nothing theater actor included) are helping the deep state destroy those two men, the Page´s and Strzok´s get to openly flip them all off and get rewarded for it. Have you not yet figured that out? Are you still believing we live in a representative republic? If so, please pet your purple unicorn for me.

Fascinating day! Watching on Fox. Strzok is a decidedly nasty-looking guy. Sheila Jackson-Lee, strutting her usual misguided and ignorant hubris, just led Strzok to open up answers to questions on the Russia collusion investigation which he’s previously said he could not answer on advice and instruction from FBI lawyer. Goodlatte nailed him and put him on notice that there would be a LOT of questons after the break - not on the substance of the investigation, but on the FBI conduct of their part of the investigation. Kaboom. Strzok stupidly fell into Lee’s unwitting trap and is now in the Republican members’ of the committee’s crosshairs. He has now set a precedent about answering questions. Stay tuned.

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — A federal judge on Monday ordered a temporary halt to any deportations of immigrant families who were reunited after being separated by the Trump administration at the border. U.S. District Judge Dana Sabraw imposed a delay of at least a week after a request from the American Civil Liberties Union, which cited "persistent and increasing rumors ... that mass deportations may be carried out imminently and immediately upon reunification." Justice Department attorney Scott Stewart opposed the delay but did not address the rumors in court. He said he would respond later in writing. The judge gave the department until

Traditional diplomat Nicholas Burns, former U.S. ambassador to NATO, says “The president treated the NATO allies almost with contempt.” Delete “almost” and Burns has it right. But the tone of Trump’s tweets and comments are best understood as the exasperation of this American president who wants to succeed where his predecessors failed—ending that part of the post-World War II settlement that disadvantages America. Yesterday’s hearing on Capitol Hill featuring FBI agent Peter Strzok quickly turned into a political firefight among lawmakers, but overall it was a damning illustration of the toxic culture that exists within the Washington, D.C., beltway. At one point, Oversight Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy confronted the former investigator over some anti-Trump texts he had sent. In 2016, after FBI lawyer Lisa Page asked Strzok if Trump would ever become the president, his response was, “No. No he won’t. We’ll stop it.” Republican committee members read a number of Strzok’s vitriolic texts about Donald Trump and his supporters, and at one point

Watching FBI agent Peter Strzok battle with Congress, my initial reaction was pure anger. His repeated, arrogant insistence that he had done nothing wrong despite tons of evidence to the contrary convinced me he deserved immediate firing — if not the firing squad. Gradually, though, anger gave way to amazement as Strzok grew increasingly combative and condescending. Given his predicament, the sneering and smirking were stupid, and yet he persisted. Who is this jerk, I wondered, and how in the hell did he get to be a big shot at the FBI? And why are taxpayers still paying for the privilege of

But the city is fast becoming one of the worst places in the U.S. to live. The homeless problem is out of control. Experts say it “could exceed some of the dirtiest slums in the world.” There are around 7,500 homeless people in the city. Human feces is strewn across public areas. The NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit examined over 150 blocks of downtown San Francisco and found 96 blocks littered with feces. San Francisco’s new

A 13-year-old girl in Alabama was beheaded because she saw her Sinaloa Cartel-associated granny stabbed to death by drug traffickers, authorities have said. Mariah Lopez, 13, and her grandmother Oralia Mendoza, 49, were killed on June 4 in Moon Cemetery outside of Huntsville, Alabama, prosecutors revealed in court on Thursday. The new details in the case came in a hearing for 26-year-old Yoni Aguilar, who along with 34-year-old Israel Palomino is charged with two counts each of capital murder in the slayings. At the hearing, investigators testified that the grandmother Mendoza had ties to the Sinaloa Cartel,
