George Will demands voters punish
´king´ Trump´s Republican ´poodles´

Washington Times, by Douglas Ernst

Former Fox News contributor George Will says voters must punish Republican “poodles” during the midterm elections to “quarantine” the president. An op-ed in Friday’s Washington Post by the long-time political pundit and conservative calls for voters to end the “carnage of Republican misrule” in Washington. Mr. Will claimed the “most telegenic example” of a need to oust Republicans exists with the administration’s “zero tolerance” policy regarding illegal immigrants along the U.S. southern border. “The Republican-controlled Congress, which waited for Trump to undo by unilateral decree the border folly they could have prevented by actually legislating, is an advertisement for the unimportance of

George Will is perhaps the saddest disappointment of all. Beyond hope, it appears.

He earned ostracization some time ago, and it looks like there´s no reason to reconsider. Occasionally an report like this one reminds me that George is still out there, abusing his own brain. Otherwise, who cares?

Is there a worse offense, in Will’s dainty and manicured world, than being a vulgarian? I know he just lost his best friend and may be overwrought and I am truly sorry for his loss. But those he dismisses as low-brow disgraces to conservatism are actually very concerned, traditional Americans. We believe our country could be a shining city on a hill to be a pattern for others to follow as the best way forward for mankind. However, right now we aren’t naturally evolving but in the throes of treachery and invasion. Is man’s last best hope to founder while being careful to hold up the pinky finger while drinking tea?

George as barnacle, being sure to latch himself on to someone who spoke plain English and pretended nothing. George is a midget compared to Dr. K. Real always trumps fakery.

Last night on Martha MacCallum´s show, Chris Stirewalt offered up that Trump might have a better chance of winning in 2020 if the House went Democrat in 2018 because Trump could run against the Democrats. He thinks maybe the Republican base should vote Dem in Nov. in order to save Trump. Riiiight. Like those democrats wouldn´t impeach Trump as soon as they take the oath in 2019.

Will is seriously deranged, clearly this is a real disease.

People who have for years been pretty reasonable, normally fairly sensible, suddenly are foaming at the mouth, irrational, hateful nutcases, unable to grasp the massive numbers of really conservative things that are being accomplished.

This irrational hatred of the President is pretty surprising, really.

The only alternative explanation is that they were entirely fake, never actually wanted conservative things to happen, and now that they are actually happening, are unhappy about it.

So, are these folks just actors assigned to play conservatives on the stage of the "news", and now uncovered?

All of us know many other examples. Have they gone insane or were they faking it?

I am a strong advocate for holding liberals to the same rules they hold everyone else to. Far too often we see conservatives hammered for something they did or said, even if it’s taken out of context, and hounded from the public stage because an angry liberal mob was pointed in their direction for no other reason than the left’s desire for a scalp. While it is satisfying to claim one of theirs after they claim, or try to claim, one of ours, it’s a sad game that ends with everyone losing. This game is nothing new, but it has gotten

Something has been going on with Robert Mueller´s investigation of people thought to have played significant roles in the Trump-Russia affair. The special counsel, assigned to investigate "any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Trump," has been farming out seemingly important parts of the investigation to offices outside his own. In April, Mueller referred an investigation of close Trump associate Michael Cohen to federal prosecutors in New York. This month, the U.S. attorney in Washington — not Mueller — indicted Maria Butina on charges of being an unregistered Russian agent. And also

Are you tired of all the winning yet? If you are a conservative who has followed the trajectory of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), you might be getting to that point. From its inception, the CFPB has been a big government liberal’s dream: no Congressional oversight, limitless investigative authority, and a leadership succession plan that seemed more feudal than democratic. Indeed, when CFPB Director Richard Cordray resigned in November 2017, the Left claimed he, not President Donald Trump, had the authority to appoint his successor. According to them, Deputy Director Leandra English was Cordray’s rightful heiress. So when the President appointed Mick

The BLM manages 248.3 million acres of public land, more than any other agency, according to a March 2017 report by the Congressional Research Service. Today, @Interior confirmed that they are planning to move the BLM HQ west. This is great news since 99% of the land that the BLM manages is located

CLEARWATER — Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri announced Friday that his agency will not arrest a man deputies say shot and killed another man during an argument over a handicap parking space. The incident falls under Florida’s self-defense law known as "stand your ground," the sheriff said during a news conference. The law gives immunity to those in fear of their lives who use force to defend themselves. The shooting "is within the bookends of ‘stand your ground’ and within the bookends of force being justified," the sheriff said, later adding, "I’m not saying I agree with it, but I don’t make

In the past few days, President Trump has given at least some Republicans reason to express displeasure over his relationship with Russia. First he performed a pathetic ritual of subservience before Vladimir Putin, standing beside the Russian leader — after a private meeting between the two, which no aides were permitted to attend — and dismissing the copious evidence of a Russian attack on the 2016 election in deference to Putin’s word. Then we learned that Putin had suggested that we make Americans available to the Kremlin for questioning, including Michael McFaul, the former U.S. ambassador to Russia, in exchange

A research group in New Jersey has taken a fresh look at postelection polling data and concluded that the number of noncitizens voting illegally in U.S. elections is likely far greater than previous estimates. As many as 5.7 million noncitizens may have voted in the 2008 election, which put Barack Obama in the White House. The research organization Just Facts, a widely cited, independent think tank led by self-described conservatives and libertarians, revealed its number-crunching in a report on national immigration. Just Facts President James D. Agresti and his team looked at data from an extensive Harvard/YouGov study that every

Last Friday, Maine Democrat Zak Ringelstein wasn’t ready to consider himself a formal member of the Democratic Socialists of America, even if he appreciated the organization’s values and endorsement in his bid to become a United States senator. Three days later, he told The Associated Press that was ready to become the only major-party Senate candidate in the nation to be a dues-paying democratic socialist. The swift evolution is latest evidence of a nationwide surge in the strength and popularity of an organization that, until recently, operated on the fringes of the liberal movement’s farthest left flank. But as Donald

President Donald Trump demanded on Friday that the ´$40,000,000 commissioner´ of the NFL suspend players for a whole season if they kneel during national anthem more than once. In a rehash of last year´s controversy, the President took to Twitter to blast NFL commissioner Roger Godell for not doing enough to stem the tide of players protesting racial inequality in America. ´The NFL National Anthem Debate is alive and well again - can´t believe it!,´ Trump wrote in the tweet. ´Isn´t it in contract that players must stand at attention, hand on heart? The $40,000,000 Commissioner must now make a stand.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif — From Malibu to Santa Cruz, wealthy people are blocking access to California’s publicly owned beaches. And no group has fought the public longer than the gated community of Hollister Ranch, about 130 miles north of Los Angeles. For more than 36 years, residents there have spent millions of dollars on lawyers and lobbyists to bar the hoi polloi from an 8.5-mile-long beach adorned with several coves. In May, after more than four years of litigation over public access to the beach, a settlement was announced between the ranch cooperative, on one side, and the California Coastal Commission
