President Donald Trump signed an executive order Thursday to reorganize the federal government, a welcome move for Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke as he attempts to restructure the Department of the Interior (DOI). Trump’s order directs the Office of Management and Budget to suggest ways to consolidate the federal government, streamlining agencies and repositioning some under departments more closely aligned with each agency’s responsibilities, according to a White House statement. “President Trump is a businessman who knows that an effective operation needs to be organized for success, which is exactly why he is leading this commonsense reorganization of the

I love this, but good luck getting it past Congress.

If Zinke could relocate many of the Interior Dept´s offices from Washington and nearby eastern sites to the western states where most of the Interior Dept´s responsibilities arise, that would be an enormous step forward. More employees would be conservatives with common sense rather than liberals with liberal agenda´s.

All of these agencies are part of the administrative branch. I say, ´Full speed ahead!´

That´s what we elected this president for.

"and pushing more assets and decision-making out into the field,” Zinke said."

This would help a lot. Centralized bureaucracies, even if they are diligently doing their very best (often not the case) are out of touch with the local facts which are critical to proper decision making. Moving the decision makers out to be closer to their areas of responsibilities is very important.

Of course, when you have leftist ecocrazies in charge, where they are isn´t the issue, they are trying to destroy any access to the land for any use other than walking through it and not touching anything.

The idea of multiple use, such as mining and logging is absolutely unacceptable to the ecocrazies, no matter how carefully it is done.

As for the families of the low-skilled working immigration population in the country, 51 percent (76 percent counting immigrant-led households with children) are collecting some sort of check from our welfare services. Identity politics -- her bread and butter -- is, for the first time in years, in some trouble. This is particularly true in the black community, where Donald Trump´s approval level is climbing. And the reason for this isn´t all Kanye West. African Americans have the lowest unemployment rate ever under Trump and are beginning to have more cash and better lives.
