Will we get tired of so much winning?
Washington Examiner [DC], by Michael Barone

It has been a week full of wins for Donald Trump — at least from the perspective of those who share Trump’s view of the way the world works, and perhaps even for some who don’t. Exhibit A is Trump’s summit meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in Singapore. In their self-congratulatory joint statement, the two leaders stated that North Korea committed to “work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula” and the United States agreed “to provide security guarantees” to North Korea. Critics said that that’s not airtight language, and argued that Kim came out better than the author

Each win cranks up the pressure on the PBS brainwashed. Love it. Soon even the hard cased, willfully brainwashed will have to question their stupid fantasy world. Not that some of them will ever get it, If you think Colbert is funny, you are completely nuts, but some might start the journey to reality.

The SPLC Has Its Nose Rubbed in the Dirt

Few left-wing pressure groups are as vicious and mendacious as the Southern Poverty Law Center. Founded in 1971, the SPLC today mainly exists to smear opponents of full-spectrum progressivism as “bigots” and “extremists.” Once the Montgomery, Alabama-based outfit mislabels an individual or an institution this way, it becomes nearly impossible to clear the taint, since many reporters mistake the SPLC for a bona fide rights watchdog. So it’s good to see the SPLC held to account for at least one of these smears. On Monday, the group publicly apologized to Maajid Nawaz and agreed to pay his organization, the Quilliam

For the first time since the election of 1984, the Left is on the run and they don’t like it one bit. Back then, they had been stunned when the ignorant, trigger-happy cowboy Ronald Reagan upset Jimmy Carter in 1980; a man they were absolutely sure had almost no chance to win the presidency instead beat the incumbent rather handily. But they were devastated when Reagan crushed Walter Mondale in 1984 in one of the mightiest popular and electoral landslides in American political history. It just could . . . not . . . be . . . that Reagan

Until recently it was possible to discern a policy-based ideology of elitism. It was the establishment consensus around the benefits of globalization, automation, centralization and uncontrolled immigration. Over the past few decades, this elitist policy agenda was implemented regardless of actual election outcomes. Republicans and Democrats alike encouraged trade deals and financial deregulation that replaced corporate America’s primarily local and national economic outlook with a global one. Technology was unleashed on the American workplace with no thought given to the wrenching transition this would cause and the massive scale of retraining needed to enable our workforce to cope with it. For Trump supporters, DOJ IG

The new Justice Department inspector general´s report on the FBI´s handling of the Clinton email scandal is 568 pages long, but for Trump supporters it can be reduced to a single phrase: "Told ya so." For months, Team Trump has claimed that the Department of Justice under Barack Obama was motivated by politics when it came to investigating Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. And while some on the Right have stretched that premise out to the "Deep State Conspirators Use UFO Tech To Erase DOJ Data" extreme, the IG report makes it clear that the Loretta Lynch/James Comey/Andrew McCabe DOJ

The Justice Department’s tepid OIG report, with its risible assertion that there was no political bias in the FBI’s Clinton email probe, suggests that it was written by people afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about the conduct of the federal government’s police apparatus, an agency that openly defies congressional oversight and has participated in a vendetta against a sitting president. The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power. The OIG is loath to face the ruthless reprisals that would inevitably follow

Then-Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe tasked the mistress of lead agent Peter Strzok to stay appraised of the probe into Hillary Clinton’s private server — a decision that other bureau officials took issue with at the time, according to the Department of Justice Inspector General’s bombshell report. McCabe was supposed to be insulated from the probe by two levels of management: Strzok worked for counterintelligence head Bill Priestap, who worked for national security head Michael Steinbach, who reported up to McCabe. However, Strzok communicated about the probe with his mistress, Lisa Page, who worked directly for

“What an outrageous disrespect to the 6 million who perished [in the Holocaust],” Conway said of the comparison during an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press”. MSNBC and other outlets have been reporting from inside the shelters for illegal immigrant children who are separated from their parents at the border. Reporters discovered that children are cared for by trained professionals and are kept in relatively good conditions, but that hasn’t stopped some commentators from likening the shelters to “concentration camps.” (Snip)Conway told NBC’s Chuck Todd that she was disgusted by the comparison and but agreed that “nobody

On a blustery afternoon in April, I filed into a van along with 10 students from Harvard. We had just spent the last two days in Chicopee, Mass., where we had chatted with the police chief and his force, the mayor and his staff, small-business owners, waitresses and firemen about their struggles living in small-town America. The undergrads were buzzing with their impressions. Chicopee is about 90 miles west of their prestigious university in Cambridge, but when it comes to shared experience, it might as well have been 1,000 light years away. As they settled in, I looked at them. “So,” I said, “who do you think most of the people you

Most cities, counties, and states in this country cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). When they’re about to release someone in criminal custody who is wanted for deportation, they let ICE know. But Philadelphia calls itself a ‘sanctuary city’ because it refuses to do this. Philadelphia is not giving “sanctuary” to Americans — it’s giving sanctuary to foreign criminals. At their root, sanctuary policies are a rejection of immigration law. If you won’t deport somebody who came here illegally and then committed another crime, then whom will you deport? Nobody. It cannot be that someone who illegally

It spent its entire life embedded on the ocean floor, likely never moving, according to scientists from the University of California – Riverside. Remember Anthony Weiner, also known as “Carlos Danger” — the former congressman who kept texting people pictures of well, umm, that part of his name? It all made quite the splash because he is married to Hillary Clinton’s consigliere and constant sidekick, Huma Abedin. Turns out that Anthony was such a perp — and so enthralled with his own — that he was sexting with a minor. That is a federal offense carrying up to 10 years in prison. So, he got raided by the New York Police Department and the New York office of the FBI. They seized his laptop computer.

Illegal Immigration: The latest outrage by the Trump administration is its policy of "ripping" children away from parents who´ve crossed the border illegally. As with so many other things involving Trump, there´s plenty of emotion but precious little in the way of facts. The furor reached critical mass after the Department of Homeland Security said on Friday that 1,995 children had been separated from their illegal border crossing parents from mid-April through May. That number included, DHS said, cases where the adults were arrested for illegal entry, immigration violations, or possible criminal conduct. The practice has generated a rising storm of protests,
