Socialism is going mainstream,

A headline in The Hill captures a significant moment in American history: "Four socialist-backed candidates win Pennsylvania legislative primaries." The Democratic Socialists of America supported all four candidates, who will almost certainly win in November, given their lack of GOP opponents. The DSA itself thinks socialism´s time has come: The DSA hailed the legislative victories as a huge moment for the socialist movement. Arielle Cohen, co-chair of the Pittsburgh DSA chapter, told HuffPost that she feels a "monumental shift" after the victories, noting DSA´s growing membership since President Trump´s election. "We won on popular demands that were deemed impossible. We won

No, allowing commies to control the education establishment and create a federal (and state) education department, then letting them indoctrinate the mushy minds of kids, is the cause.

Millenials like causes that help people but most lack the will to take on the long-term responsibility to see things through.

That is for others-- they don´t like to get pinned down to long committments.

No wonder they are euphemistically called "snowflakes"... the look pretty, but never last long

If we had another Great Depression like out grandparents did, they would not survive because so many lack character and grit IMHO.

What do you expect from Public Education and Government entwined University eduction that promotes a healthy socialist lifestyle, unchallenged? What do you expect when the cost of University education has risen far faster than wages or other expenses over the last 3 decades, and now kids graduate college with a "mortgage" on their backs with little chance of ever repaying it?

Of course they´re all for "free cheese." Who wouldn´t be in their pathetic situations?

Boy, will they ever be surprised. Heh; live and learn -- if you live long enough.

I think he´s missed some things here:

The millennials are still nowhere near the top of the pyramid. It´s still the boomers who are in control. They are the ones who trained the millennials to deliver the final blow. But they have a problem: they have not been able to satisfy the millenials with the same favors they have enjoyed:cushy jobs behind wide desks.

The Millenials are have been growing cynical and alienated since Obama. They are beginning to get a hint of what ´Occupy..´ , ´Black Lives...,´ and ´Antifi...´ was all about. It was fun while it lasted, but it left a bitter after-taste. As an ex-lefty I can tell you, one turns by degrees at first, as revelations accumulate and anger at being deceived mounts.

Trump is the agent of God´s grace to us, though like so many before, even Moses himself, he is flawed. Our job is to hold his arms aloft when he tires in the battle.

I´ve made some stupid financial decisions in my life, but I didn´t bet everything when I zigged instead of staying the course or zagging, and I sure didn´t sign on to decades of debt for 4 years of parties and a basically worthless piece of paper.

Socialism will eventually find a firm grip on the millenials. It takes a lot of thinking and effort to self-debunk sixteen years of heavy socialist education and they have no incentive to do that until the evils of socialism have a stranglehold. By the time they do, the government and the country will have gone way too far down the path of Russia, China, Venezuela, Cuba, Greece, etc. and there will be no country left on Earth to bail them out.

The good news is that I will be dead by that time, either of old age or a failure to dodge somebody´s bullet.

As a Gen Xer and a child of Silent Generation parents... the Boomers´ spawn falling for socialism really doesn´t shock me. Apple doesn´t fall far from the tree. But then the one overriding characteristic of my generation, the forgotten latch key generation who grew up in the waning days of the cold war, is cynicism. They have a poor understanding of what Socialism actually is. In Europe the middle class bears a heavy tax burden in the form of both VAT taxes and income taxes. You can never ´get ahead´ unless you are an industrialist or entertainer with lots of government connections. The average person has a tightly controlled existence.

Socialism kills competition, in turn slows economic growth to a crawl, which leads to stagnation and finally collapse! We see it to our south right before our eyes!

President Trump on Monday touted a Wall Street Journal editorial asking where former President Barack Obama has been amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the Trump presidency and the special counsel’s probe into Russia’s election meddling. “The Wall Street Journal asks, ‘WHERE IN THE WORLD WAS BARACK OBAMA?’ A very good question!” the president wrote on Twitter. A theological who’s who of Leftist Christian leaders are organizing a march on the White House to ‘Reclaim Jesus’ from President Donald Trump that is set for the evening of May 24. One of the leaders of the anti-Trump march is Rev. Three march organizers were spiritual advisors to President Barack Obama while one counseled President Bill Clinton during the Lewinsky scandal and later endorsed Hillary Clinton for president in 2016. For the past two years the Media/Dems have relentlessly attacked President Trump, claiming that he “colluded” with the Russians to beat Hillary. They cannot accept that President Trump beat Hillary and is dismantling the Obama “legacy.” Mueller and his staff of Hillary/Obama contributors disguised as attorneys have wasted over one year on this investigation. One principal premise of the so-called “collusion” is that the Trump campaign met with and contacted Russians to obtain “dirt” on Hillary and the DNC emails. The logical questions are what dirt could the Russians possibly provide that we do not already know about Hillary, and
