NYT Report Confirms Obama Administration’s
FBI Spied on Trump Campaign

Legal Insurrection, by Kemberlee Kaye

Original Article

And here it is. The New York Times confirms Trump’s claims, which have been frequently dismissed by major media outlets as kooky and conspiratorial, true. Under the Obama administration, the intelligence community DOJ officials spied on Trump’s campaign. Operation “Crossfire Hurricane” is what they called it. It was a super double secret operation that only a handful of agents and DOJ officials were aware of. Agents, “obtained phone records and other documents using national security letters — a secret type of subpoena” and “at least one government informant met several times with Mr. Page and Mr. Papadopoulos.”

And that´s why all the Obama era hires, (and any remaining Bush era holdovers), should have been fired when Trump was elected.
Drain the swamp. Time for Dems to be indicted, convicted and jailed.

Isn’t it utterly astounding that we are in the midst of the greatest scandal in American political history, a scandal that stands among the greatest scandals in world history, and it’s ho hum nothing to see here isn’t Trump a loud mouth.

Truly historic events have taken place, a political party in the largest greatest most powerful republic ever to exist simply refused to abide by the law, and engage in the normal transition of power in accordance with a legal election. They turned to subterfuge and sedition.

Most remarkable, the 50% or so of the electorate who vote for that party don’t seem the least bit bothered or worried that the rest of us might be at a point where we take drastic measures. And they are right. How is it we sit by take out our frustrations on our keyboards in the company of like-minded people?

The stranglehold that the Left has on the media puts us in the position where we know attempts to do anything will only reinforce the need to suppress us. The net effect of the spectacularly successful propaganda machine is to keep a lid on any true resistance from the freedom loving constitutionalists until we are at a breaking point. The more successful the suppression, the more dangerous the eventual break of the stranglehold.

This is another example of what Sen. Daniel Moynihan termed "defining deviancy down" - in the political realm.
People were outraged by things Nixon did. Bill Clinton, not-so-much; Obama, not-at-ALL. Of course, the (D) and (R) factor is in play, but it also seems that Americans are just too busy taking selfies to care that their government officials in D.C. have reached the apex of corruption.
I want to see a lot of swamp-creatures perp-walked into a federal courthouse. Now.

I read the NYT article before this one (unfortunately, before my breakfast and while holding my nose). As Kimberley Strassel points out in her tweets in this article, one would think everything the FBI did was prim and proper, and their “only” concern was the good of the nation. Here are some examples FTA:
1. “I never saw anything that resembled a witch hunt or suggested that the bureau’s approach to the investigation was politically driven,” said Mary McCord, a 20-year Justice Department veteran and the top national security prosecutor during much of the investigation’s first nine months.
2. And this gem from Yates: “You do not take actions that will unnecessarily impact an election,” Sally Q. Yates, the former deputy attorney general, said in an interview. She would not discuss details, but added, “Folks were very careful to make sure that actions that were being taken in connection with that investigation did not become public.”
3.The NYT article appears to throw Comey under the bus. Again, FTA: Looking back, some inside the F.B.I. and the Justice Department say that Mr. Comey should have seen the political storm coming and better sheltered the bureau. They question why he consolidated the Clinton and Trump investigations at headquarters, rather than in a field office. And they say he should not have relied on the same team for both cases. That put a bull’s-eye on the heart of the F.B.I. Any misstep in either investigation made both cases, and the entire bureau, vulnerable to criticism.

When Trump came in he was faced with the same situation that the Allies had to deal with concerning a conquered Germany. There were Nazis everywhere! From the lowest clerk to the local mayor. Nothing would work if every "party member" was taken out and shot. Some just went along to get along and weren´t die-hard Nazis while others had pictures of Hitler in their wallets. So ... what to do? You slowly transition new people in and ease the old guard out. Could take years.

After the I.G.´s report comes out and Herr Mueller is forced to fold his tent as his entire existence is based on a phony house of cards, Trump can take a sledge hammer against the Deep State and start heads rolling. I can´t wait and fully support that effort!

The rattlesnakes are committing suicide.

If that terminology is turned back on us (and we´re the hungry venomous snake), the anti-Trumpers who failed and got found out are like the Far Side hamster running his hamster wheel for life. A snake that has wriggled a few inches into the cage is looking for an exploitable gap in the hamster wheel, at which point he would be face to face with his quarry, mealtime seconds away. The terrified hamster--"Oh, no!!!"--sprints for his life as the wheel´s metal crossbars go bonk bonk bonk off the snout of the serpent.

An aside: I miss Far Side. Why doesn´t Gary Larsen come back? If he´s that good a jazz guitarist, does he have a CD?
