Trump’s personal attorney solicited
$1 million from government of Qatar

Washington Post, by Karen DeYoung*

Michael Cohen, President Trump’s personal attorney, solicited a payment of at least $1 million from the government of Qatar in late 2016, in exchange for access to and advice about the then-incoming administration, according to several people with knowledge of the episode. The offer, which Qatar declined, came on the margins of a Dec. 12 meeting that year at Trump Tower between the Persian Gulf state’s foreign minister and Michael Flynn, who became Trump’s first national security adviser. Stephen K. Bannon, who became chief White House strategist, also attended, the people said. Cohen did not participate in the official

Comments:
Very heavy sigh. They sure are going after Cohen in a big way. I must have missed the same treatment of Bill and Hillary Clinton who actually WERE PAID by various foreign governments. I´m way more upset over the double standards than what Cohen may or may not have done. All of this political tumult and chaos is wearing me out.

Remember Obama´s best friend, Rod Blagojevich?
Did the press bring up Obama´s name every time they wrote about Blagojevich after he started getting caught doing dirty deeds? No way. This Cohen clown is responsible for his own bad acts, not PT.

The FBI Spied for LBJ’s Campaign
Wall Street Journal, by Lee Edwards    Original Article

Is it unthinkable that the Federal Bureau of Investigation would spy on a presidential campaign for political purposes? I can personally attest that it has happened before—during Barry Goldwater’s 1964 campaign. Every poll agreed that President Lyndon B. Johnson would easily win the election against the conservative Sen. Goldwater of Arizona. But LBJ wanted a landslide so he could implement his Great Society vision without resistance and go down in history as one of America’s greatest presidents. (Snip) Thus was born Johnson’s “Anti-Campaign” to smear Goldwater’s candidacy. The operation was run from the second floor of the West Wing by

Far-left Parkland activists threw themselves on the floor of a Florida grocery store on Friday, screaming and yelling for customers to boycott the store because of political donations that it had made. The "die-in" was organized by far-left activist and provocateur David Hogg, who has launched multiple boycotts aimed at those who support the NRA or who criticize him. Former White House adviser Anthony Scaramucci said Friday he won´t to a cable TV show with Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti, and joked that one reason why is because Avenatti is bald. WASHINGTON — Since Donald J. Through invitation-only emails and private, off-the-record meetings, they have formed a loose network of cross-partisan alliances aimed at helping neutralize President Trump,

The conceit of those claiming Mr. Trump has crossed some line in ordering the Justice Department to comply with oversight is that “investigators” are beyond question.
