The far left is winning
the Democratic civil war

Washington Post, by James Hohmann

The Big Idea: Tuesday was a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day for Democratic moderates. The success of very liberal candidates in primaries across four states is causing a new bout of heartburn among party strategists in Washington, who worry about unelectable activists thwarting their drive for the House majority. But it also reflects a broader leftward lurch among Democrats across the country since President Trump took office. -- In Nebraska, a liberal social worker and political neophyte who built her campaign around “Medicare for All” scored a shocking upset in a Democratic primary to take on Rep. Don

Comments:
My guess is that more and more moderate Dems who supported Trump are no longer voting in the Democrat primaries. This opens the door to a wide array of leftists as the only ones showing up on primary night.

Column name removed from headline.

Good. Never stop your enemy when they are digging themselves into a deep, deep hole. After the fighting is done, the bodies can easily be covered with a single dump truck backing up to their hole. Neat and tidy.

The only way the dems win is when they pretend to be moderate. If BO had admitted in 2007 what he really intended to do, he would not have been elected.

The Left outed itself when BO was elected. They figured the GOP was history and they could come out for their REAL agenda. Then they started to lose, everywhere. Federal offices, state offices, etc., all gone.

The far Left refuses to consider that they are out of step with most of America. They think if they just get tougher, louder, more obnoxious, spend more money, be more Socialist that America will wake up and they will win. If the hard Left is the face of the dem party, it will be a raucous election and the media will go into hysterics but the GOP will win. Then the Left will go insane.

Look at what the far left supports...

- They hate America.
- They hate Democracy. The left will end Democracy if they get in power.
- They hate wealth (unless its theirs). They hate capitalism. They confiscate wealth.
- They hate freedom. They create police states to stay in power.
- They are pro-crime. They want to empty jails, and legalize crime. They are pandering to criminals.
- They pander for votes. They offer preferential treatment to blacks, Hispanics, women, and LGBTs.
- The left counts on people being uninformed.
- The left panders to pet causes. Climate change. Free healthcare. Never mind the cost, and they never fix anything. The issue is more important than the solution.

No way any honest informed person votes for these people.

Vote for liberal democrats, they will make sure to follow through on those campaign promises.

This is actually good news. The alternative was worse, ie, democrats running with ´national security state´ backgrounds (ie, shut up, it´s classified) which rose to prominence under Obama. Many Democrats this year are lined up to run from military and ´national security´ backgrounds. Some of them lost yesterday. Another loser yesterday had worked in the Obama admin. Some who won were farther left than Bernie, more rejection of Hillary and Obama´s emphasis on a security state agenda which does nothing for suffering Americans across the country.

I do beleive the WaPo actually stumbled into somethintg they didn´t want to stumble into. For decades, the Rebublican party has steadily move from slightly right of Democrats, to a real difference. And the Kneepads have labeled the election, from Reagan forward, as the Rebublicans flying off a cliff into oblivion for embracing conservative candidates. Yet, Rebublicans keep winning Now the left thinks the same strategy will work. If going far right attracts voters, just think how many voters will be turned on by fascist/socialist candidates! See, they think that elections are based on extremes, not political views.

Far left: short for "Socialist" and "Communists" determined to take over all means of production and private property and income from everything they produce and use it to reward only those who support their regime. The rest are lucky to be given the scarps that fall off the table.

Was it a wolf, some type of hybrid, or a creature that hasn´t been seen in Montana since the Ice Age? On May 16 a lone wolf-like animal was shot and killed on a ranch outside Denton, Mont. With long grayish fur, a large head and an extended snout, the animal shared many of the same characteristics as a wolf; but its ears were too large, it´s legs and body too short, its fur uncharacteristic of that common to a wolf. So what was it? At this point, no one is 100 percent sure. "We have no idea what this

According to Klemko, some are discussing ways to skirt new rules "just to spite the NFL." Teams will be fined for any personnel that "do not show proper respect for the flag and Anthem” on the sidelines. Other journalists were hearing similar things from players they talked to.

San Francisco, Mountain View, Cupertino and East Palo Alto are all considering similar taxes on large local employers (read: tech companies) to offset growing inequality and overcrowding they blame on the industry that turned them into boomtowns.
